For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sauber! Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchen! Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Ich kann die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Our stay at Andrea’s home in Schötz was absolutely incredible. The house is stunning—far more beautiful than the photos can capture—and set amidst lush farmland, creating the most peaceful and picturesque retreat. Coming from New York, we were able to truly unwind and enjoy deep, restful sleep each night in this serene setting. Andrea was a phenomenal host, ensuring that everything was perfect for our stay. The home is set up wonderfully for families, and we especially appreciated how thoughtful it was for our 2-year-old. There were plenty of toys to keep her entertained, a changing table, and a bed that was just the right height for her to easily get in and out of. These little details made our stay so much more comfortable. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape surrounded by nature with all the comforts of home (and more!), this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return!

Thank you Diana for sharing your beautiful house with us! It has everything we needed and more. It was absolutely spotless when we got in. Everything that was listed was there, and more: we felt right at home. Bonus: some windows had mosquito screens, and it was great since we don't see too much of that in Europe:-) The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, and there is a small supermarket a few hundred meters away which makes meal prep a breeze. The views are gorgeous if you go up right behind the school. It was the Switzerland "postcard"we were looking and hoping for! Diana's house is conveniently located between Zurich and Lucerne, as well as near several natural areas . Driving around is a breeze. Diana is easy to reach and responds in a timely manner. I definitely recommend renting from her! Thanks again for making our vacation a success!!

Das Airbnb war für mich mit meinem Rollstuhl sehr praktisch. Die Eingänge für ins Bad und Schlafzimmer sind schön breit. Das Bad selber ist perfekt für einen Rollstuhl, gross und alles was man als Rollstuhlgänger braucht. Auch hat es (ausser beim Hauseingang) keine Schwellen in der Wohnung. Auch die Besitzer des Airbnb sind sehr nett, flexibel und unkompliziert. Genaueres über diese schöne Wohnung können Sie in meinen früheren Bewertungen lesen. Jedenfalls auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert! Hier können Sie sich wirklich erholen.

Die Unterkunft von Lukas war wie beschrieben - tolle Lage, Zürich in nächster Nähe, gut ausgestattet und perfekte Kommunikation sowohl vorab als auch während des Aufenthalts! Lieber Lukas, vielen Dank für deine Gastfreundschaft!

Nous avons loué l'appartement pour deux jours et nous sommes très contents. L'appartement est beaucoup plus grand que je pensai. Il y a deux grandes chambres et une troisième encore plus grande. Nous étions six adultes deux enfants et un bébé et nous avons eu largement assez de place. Il y a beaucoup de jeux pour les enfants sur place. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. L'appartement est très bien situé. Vous serez au calme tout en étant à cinq minutes de l'autoroute.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa in Gerlodswil, Switzerland, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. What stood out the most was how everything was exactly as advertised, making it easy to enjoy both the tranquility of the area and the local amenities. Nadja, the host, was exceptional. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and always available to ensure that our stay was perfect. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Switzerland. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Wir haben uns in der Villa, nach dem Wow-Effekt beim eintreten, sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Trotz schlechtem Wetter konnte man in den Pool und Whirlpool. Der Fitnessraum ist super ausgestattet - wir waren beschäftigt ^^ außerdem ein großes Lob an die Reinigungskräfte, es war alles blitzblank und die Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön hergerichtet.

This was one of the best experiences at an Airbnb for me, the place was so warm and welcoming and we felt right at home. We loved the cat, there were so many little thoughtful touches here and there at the place which made the stay even more enjoyable. The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, it’s a small and quiet village. Recommended to whoever wants to stay here .

We had a wonderful stay in the spacious apartment, which provided all the comfort we needed. Everything was perfect, and the hosts, Klara and Paul, were incredibly welcoming and lovely. We would love to return during the summer!

We chose this location due to it being down the road from family that live in Switzerland, and we really enjoyed using the property as a comfortable base during Christmas week 2024. The property is very quiet, clean and warm. It has easy access to road and rail networks, but you can also walk from the door into peaceful open countryside or down into the old town of Mellingen. Sue and Fritz were very helpful and friendly, and we even had a light snowfall on our first night – many thanks to Fritz for clearing the path of snow for the next morning!

Amazing! We stayed for a week (April 2025) and the place was incredible. Exactly as advertised!! Great house, plenty of space and immaculately clean on arrival. Well stocked kitchen, fantastic pool and hot tub, and rapid responsive host. We loved everything about our stay, thank you. 5 stars plus!

Larii's house is one of the most beautiful houses we have stayed. it made us feel like we were living in an art museum. every nook and corner was cutely decorated right for the season 🎄. Larii is very approachable and we loved the house so much that we plan to visit this place Everytime we come to Switzerland now.

Monika hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir fühlten uns direkt wohl. Wunderbarer Ort um die Natur zu geniessen. Das Frühstück war fantastisch.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in ruhigem Quartier. Ideal gelegen, ob für Naturliebhaber oder Stadtbesucher. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und angenehm. Kann die Wohnung sehr empfehlen!

Suoer schönes Apartement und alles war vorhanden. Hoher Standard und auch die Möglichkeit Wäsche zu waschen war für uns ein besonderes Plus. Kommunikation mit Walter ist sehr angenehm und wir kommen gerne wieder. VG

Alles super, war zwar etwas kalt, aber Celine hatte sofort reagiert und mir Möglichkeiten angeboten. Ich hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf bij Judith gehad. Lekker rustig op de boerderij met prachtig uitzicht. In de avond op de ligbedden naar de sterren gekeken. Het was echt kamperen bij de boer.
