I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is, without a doubt, the best place I’ve ever stayed in Egypt. Nestled in a prime location, it offers easy access to everything you might need. The space itself is remarkably spacious and thoughtfully designed, with hotel-style rooms that exude elegance and meticulous architectural attention to detail. Everything here is spotless, and the apartment is fully equipped with high-quality appliances, a well-stocked kitchen, and impeccably clean, comfortable furnishings. The complimentary WiFi was fast and reliable, and the overall security of the place gave me complete peace of mind. As for Walid, he is an exceptionally gracious and hospitable host. Upon my arrival, he thoughtfully sent me valuable recommendations on where to stroll and shop in the neighborhood, making my stay even more enjoyable.

A great place , private area with outdoor table, market and laundry close by. Mahmoud a great person since day one until I left.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

Nice place and stunning balcony. The building is nice and the neighbors are quiet. The place wasn’t that clean but the host was very responsive to feedback and he will hire a different cleaning person from now. And he even brought a microwave when I asked! Great full service place. My only tip is that if you are a light sleeper, this place isn’t good for you. There’s a lot of construction outside and it shakes the whole apartment and makes a lot of noise. It’s not in the host’s control and hopefully will be done soon.

A beautiful apartment in the heart of Cairo- homey, clean, and beautifully decorated. Definitely will book again and recommend anyone to book. The assistant at the property was also incredibly helpful.

Jolie appartement en pleine place Tahrir très bien desservie quartier ambiance populaire je m’y suis beaucoup plu sachant que je ne connaissais rien du Caire proche du musée. Le meilleur de cette location es le gardien Mahmoud une personne d’une grande générosité, gentil, humain, avec beaucoup d’empathie et serviable à souhait.. il as fait de mon séjour un havre de paix,très à l écoute toujours au petits soins. Malgré la Barrière de la langue il as réussis à faire de la location un petit paradis. Honnêtement sans lui mon séjours n’aurait pas été pareil surtout si l’on ne connaît pas le pays ni la langue, c’est vraiment une personne incroyable. Merci infiniment à lui.

الشقة جميلة جدا وعنصرية والأثاث جديد ونظيف وأنا أول ساكن للشقة، بالإضافة الأخت نجوى كانت جدا متعاونة مع أني كنت أتمنى ألتقي فيها لكن لم أستطع؛ لكن كانت دائم التواصل وتسأل إذا محتاجين شي للشقة. طبعا جميع الأدوات الكهربائية والأثاث كانت ممتازة الشقة في وسط البلد وتنفع للعوائل ويحتوي على شقة ٣ غرف نوم وحمامين وصالة

Mein Aufenthalt bei Peter war absolut hervorragend! Das Zimmer und die gesamte Wohnung waren makellos sauber – man merkt sofort, dass hier großer Wert auf Hygiene und Ordnung gelegt wird. Ich habe mich von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich Peters Gastfreundschaft: Er war jederzeit ansprechbar, sehr hilfsbereit und hat mir wertvolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Er geht wirklich die Extrameile, um sicherzustellen, dass sich seine Gäste rundum wohlfühlen. Wer nach einer Unterkunft sucht, die sowohl komfortabel als auch perfekt gepflegt ist, sollte definitiv bei Peter buchen. Vielen Dank für die großartige Erfahrung!

The highlight is the beautiful view of the cairo skyline, it’s close to everything you want to do in downtown cairo, the host is very responsive, nice, and clear about instructions, overall very nice place and host, would definitely recommend. There was a small problem with the water heater, and the host resolved within the same day, also gave us another bathroom in the mean time which was very resourceful of him.

I had a great stay at this property in Cairo. Radwa was incredibly warm, patient, and welcoming. She decorated the room beautifully, making it feel cozy and inviting. The location is unbeatable—just an 8-minute walk to the museum, which was super convenient. The only downsides were that the wardrobe was a bit dusty when I checked in, so I had to clean it myself, and the street-facing location meant it was quite noisy at night, so I needed earplugs to sleep. Other than that, everything was great. The overall value for money is excellent, and I would recommend this place!

We were provided with a well-equipped apartment with all the facilities we needed. Mr Ibrahim was very friendly and so helpful in resolving any issues, answering any questions we had, the communication was perfect. With lovely sized room, a nice open reception and a balcony with a great view, there are no complaints to be made. Cleanliness was not an issue as everything was kept tidy and clean, and the beds were comfortable. An extra set of keys were provided upon request and the guard at the front desk was very helpful. The apartment was secure, allowing easy and safe access and leaving any valuables wasn’t an issue. I would like to thank the amazing host Ibrahim for the excellent service provided during our stay.

اولا حصل علينا ظرف وفاه في القاهره يوم مغادرتنا للشقه وصدام كان متعاون جدا في وقت الخروج وذوق جدا وقدم خدمات كأخ في بلد غربه ثانيا تركت مفاتيح الشقه علي الطاوله وقفلت الباب وقت المغادره وعند ابلاغ صدام كانت ردت الفعل ذوق جدا عادي حصل خير بس انا ما عندي مفتاح ثاني للشقه …ليتك بلغتني قبل تخلي المفتاح جوا ..بس لا تشغلي بالك موضوع بسيط راح نغير كيلون الباب انتو اهم شي انتبهو علي نفسكم واذا احتجتو اي شي كلموني طبعا هاذي ثاني مره اسكن في الشقه المره اللي فاتت سكنت في الشقه اللي قدامها 3 غرف نوم في الواقع شقه تستاهل كل ريال يندفع فيها

المره الاولى اللي انزل فيها مصر عن طريق air bnb بالعادة فنادق .. الشقه فاقت التوقعات من نظافه من راحه نفسيه فيها وكل شيء تحتاجه ونفس الوصف تحس انك في بيتك والخدمات من الاستاذ معتز كل شوي يرسل ويسأل يعني يخليك تنحرج من اخلاقه الله يسعده .. بيكون تعاملي دائم مع الاستاذ معتز ان شاءالله شكراً لك على حسن الضيافه ويعطيك العافيه وربي يوفقك .

An unreal experience with a very responsive host. Wanted a 5star accommodation and that’s what I received. Would highly recommend and thank the host for the great 10 days spent.

Bassem is a really good host. He is very friendly and helpful and reacts super fast. His apartment is amazing. We stayed there for the second time and it has a lot of space and an amazing rooftop terrace. The location is great, there are a lot of restaurants reachable in walking distance. We will definitely come back again.

Really enjoyed my stay. The flat felt just like home and was as described. Sherry was really responsive and made sure that I had all I need. Definitely a place to consider in Maadi :)
