Nice place to stay, recommended! Would repeat when we are back in the area.

We had a lovely stay over Christmas for a week. The house is ideally located for the beach with nearby cafe and hotel for pub lunch / evening meal on your doorstep. The house is tastefully furnished, spacious and very clean. Linda, our host, was responsive and helpful. She even made recommendations for dog friendly places to go before we arrived. The house has everything you would need, is comfortable and peaceful. I’d recommend for group bookings, people with dogs and children. Cruden Bay is lovely with really friendly people. And the dogs loved the beach, the paths around Slains Castle and the dog friendly cafe and pub. We would love to return soon.

We stayed here due to its proximity to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where my husband had major surgery. There's a shared garden which is secure, and a couple of parks just along the road for dog walking. The hospital is a 10 - 15 minute walk which saved the hassle of trying to park there. On street parking never seemed too busy and we were always able to park right outside the door of the flat, which helped tremendously when my husband wasn't too mobile. We could sometimes hear people moving about in the flat upstairs but there were no intrusive noises. It was quieter than we expected even though on a main road. It was just what we needed.

Beautiful cottage in the most idyllic surroundings 😍 Only thing that would have made it better is if we could have stayed longer. Our dogs loved it as much as we did, as did our cat who loved watching the horses opposite 🥰 Alexander was so helpful and responded quickly to every message 🙂

Gorgeous cottage on the outskirts of the Cairngorms. We were 2 adults, 2 teens, and a dog, celebrating new years - the cottage was perfect for us. A big kitchen for family dinners and board games, cosy nights by the fire in the lounge. The enclosed garden was great for our busy spaniel, and walks from the cottage were wonderful. Rosie was a perfect host, with wine, flowers, and essentials provided on arrival. She was especially kind and helpful when we thought we might be snowed in! Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms cosy and comfy. All in all, a perfect family hideaway in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable & clean house with everything you could possibly need. Great dog walks on the doorstep and plenty to see and do in this beautiful part of the country. Host Malcolm was extremely helpful, with lots of good local recommendations.

If we could give a place more than 5 stars we would. Everything exceeded expectations. It was immaculate, well thought out, and comfortable. Whinnyfold is an absolute treasure. It felt like a fairytale village too beautiful to be real. We are excited to return.

Beautiful setting in the hills of Aberdeenshire. This property is a great base to explore all the area has to offer, whilst giving you peace and serenity at the end of the day. The property makes the most of lovely views of the countryside. Host was very responsive and flexible to our requests which was greatly appreciated.

Crowmallie cottage was absolutely beautiful! It is set in the most beautiful peaceful location, hidden amongst stunning trees that looked to be 100’s of years old. When we arrived there was a lovely hand written note from Sue and Jim, such a nice touch. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It had everything you needed and more! Sue and Jim messaged to make sure we had settled in and then popped over the next day to introduce themselves and check if we needed anything. Such a nice place, we will definitely be back! We had a great stay on our trip to visit friends in Aberdeen. Peter and Angela were great hosts, giving good suggestions for activities with kids like the science centre and innoflate which were 5 minutes away at the beachfront. The apartment was well stalked and spacious, ideal for our small kids. Peter even obliged with getting a new remote control for the TV as a replacement for one that was on the way out We would definitely stay again on future trips

Our second stay in this fantastic cottage situated in a beautiful setting; the view is stunning. The interior is modern and very well appointed with two shower rooms. Located at the end of a long (beautiful) drive it is not far to farm shop for supplies, meals and much more! Banchory village is about 15 minutes drive away. On this stay we visited NT Crathes Castle, Haddo House and Pitmedden - all with amazing gardens. Catriona was again a great host and communicator - Thankyou

Lovely cosy home from home. Comfortable beds, warm under floor heating, big living room, lovely views.

Lovely cottage. The stove was particularly welcome. There are logs when you arrive and then you can buy your own or get from our hosts. Beautiful gardens, lots of space and very welcoming for both us and dogs. Even some milk and scones for us when we arrived which was lovely. Excellent facilities in kitchen - we hosted a meal with family- and the comfiest duvet I have ever experienced. Our hosts were accommodating and welcoming but also not at all intrusive. Many thanks for a lovely experience.

Amazing 4 nights stay with all our friends,we really felt like home with kids being the most happy sleeping in the bunk beds bedroom. Hot tub was amazing and we were lucky to catch good weather. Only think we would recomend: to provide a barbecue-we were lucky to find one in the shop nearby. Also the jet in the kitchen was not working properly and kept splashing us all the time we tried to wash something,but at the end was actually funny 😀. We highly recommend to book a stay to Kirkton Farmhouse and we hope to come back in future. Thank you to the hosts🤗🤗🤗

Place was easy enough to find and was in a very good condition! Lovely and peaceful, exactly as described! A good amount of amenities included too which was nice. Was exactly as advertised!

Beautiful venue with amazing views. Was lovely watching a herd of red deer pass by at sunrise from the comfort of the hot tub. A very peaceful few days were enjoyed by us as a family. Scott was super helpful throughout, can’t thank you enough. The residence is perfect, lots of space and well equipped for every need. The bonus of darts board and pool table, which kept our boys entertained of an evening, was great. Very large and secure garden for dogs to roam also which ours loved. Would definitely recommend to others and will be looking forward to returning in the future. P.S Would recommend driving into Stonehaven and walking up to Dunnottar Castle via coastal route. Great day out 👍

What a magical place to spend a few nights celebrating my wife’s birthday. We loved all the different wee snugs to while away our time and especially listening to the morning bird song from the wood fired hot tub. Arthur and Katherine our hosts could not have been more helpful.

Great accommodation! Lovely location it is rural and quiet. We were lucky to see the northern lights during our stay. Accommodation is comfortable and has all the amenities to make the stay just like home. Dean had given us clear details on how to get into the home and how to get there in plenty of time before our arrival

The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed, quiet spot, friendly host. Great for dogs, roads nearby quiet for walking out directly

We visited for my partners 30th with ages ranging from 5yrs - 80yrs and what a weekend we had. The house had everything we needed and more. The games room and hot tub was a favourite for us all with many hours spent in both. Colin was a fantastic host, great communication and nothing was too much. We realised there were no darts for the dart board and Colin went out the same day to get us some. Cannot recommend this place enough or Colin for his hosting. Thank you again for a lovely stay - we are already talking about when to rebook for our next occasion.

We had a great stay over Christmas and felt so chilled over a usually stressful period of hosting. Would definitely recommend this place all year but felt extra special at Christmas with the decorations and snacks waiting for us on arrival. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas but could happily stay at the lodge and stay entertained so it accommodates for everyone. Thanks for a great experience
