The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Beautiful location, cozy, relaxing and peaceful. Property had everything we needed. Stunning views from the Hot Tub. Host recommend booking a meal at local hotel and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend Brae Cottage.

Windyheads Bothy is a wonderful getaway. It has fantastic views and is surrounded by wildlife. There’s a fabulous widescreen fireplace which kept the living room nice and toasty. The place was great for a big family holiday.

We had a wonderful family break! We loved the outdoor space and the beds were super comfortable! We made use of the hot tub and BBQ and enjoyed days out to Stonehaven and St Cyrus beach.

Had a wonderful week in Moy cottage. Alasdair provided great detailed directions which got us there no bother. We loved the location, beautiful countryside and next to a farm. The house is big and has plenty of space for our family, modern kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Kids also loved the games rooms. We also enjoyed getting the hot tub fired up!

My husband and I and our 20 year old daughter had a wonderful stay at Butler Cottage. The estate grounds are amazing with a mix of woodland and farm fields scattered over the hills. We enjoyed daily walks done and along the river. If your animal lovers like we are it was extra special. The Highland cows and sheep add beauty to the scenery, but the deer, hares, pheasants and other birds of prey really add the wow factor. The cottage is full of charm with an old world feel. It’s been very smartly renovated and decorated and is in great condition. We loved the farmhouse style kitchen which is open to a comfortable living room with high ceilings. The built in beds are beautifully done and although on the small side we enjoyed the authentic touch. The wood stoves on each end of the cottage work well to add extra warmth in the evenings. Ross was a gracious host. The place was with fresh flowers and a basket of fresh goods from the farm. He even had the fire started for the hot tub.

Beautiful cottage, gorgeous area. Walking distance of the beach, harbour, shop and local pub. Jackie was a super friendly host, lives right next door so on hand to help. Modern corrage with everything you need, including a hot tub, lovely weekend break!

We had a beautiful home from home stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was perfect and an ideal set up for our toddler too. The garden was wonderful to explore and it was ideal to have the woodland paths right on our front door step. The hot tub on the bedroom patio was a little sun trap and perfect for relaxing. The cottage had everything we could have wanted and a well set up kitchen. Lots of do in the local area and an evening spent by the open fire was the perfect was to end the day. Laura was a really attentive host, accommodating our extra requests and meeting us at the property - thanks for a lovely stay we would absolutely love to come back.

This cottage truly is off the grid. The owner Tilly had to drive us there from Tomintoul 15 min drive. No other house in sight. Just pure hilly countryside with about 100 deers hanging out in the field in front of us. Amazing peaceful place with outstanding views. No WiFi but liked that. Good 4g reception and digital terrestrial TV with a DVD player and choice of DVDs. We made good use of the hot tub daily and the sauna and even braved the plunge pool a few times which has fresh water from the mountains. Quite refreshing. We did a couple of day trips to Loch Ness 90 min and G2 adventure 50 min away. Local village Tomintoul has a nice village shop with amenities and pubs and restaurants. A restful idyllic place and good value for money.

We visit Scotland every year and we’ve stayed in some wonderful places over the last 21 years. Gale’s place is definitely one of our top three favourites! Goodness - it is impeccably furnished, comfortable and wonderfully spacious. We absolutely loved the evenings by the fire, the bright and airy conservatory, the comfortable kitchen, extremely generous bedrooms and table tennis. We will most definitely be back if they’ll have us!

When you stay here, you’re staying in peace and tranquility. The cottage has everything you need, with everything to get you started such as teas and coffees (just remember your own milk). The owners allow dogs, but you wouldn’t know as when we arrived there were no signs of dog hair (nor smell!). The cottage overlooks farmland and we saw rabbits hopping along whilst we washed up. The owners were lovely, friendly and welcoming, but left us in peace too. It’s a great place for exploring the mountains and coastline and I’d definitely return.

Another perfect stay at no.30. We love staying in Elaine’s beautiful home. Cosy, comfortable and well equipped. We could sit and stare out to sea all day. Planning our next trip already. Thank you again!

A beautiful little cottage in the Cairngorms. Ideal location for local walks. Not too far from Aviemore and Grantown-On-Spey.

Great 3 night stay over a long weekend. Sue was so helpful from as soon as we booked to after we checked out as we had forgotten an item when checking out. Sue met us upon arrival and was very warm and inviting. We were given lots of local tips for the area. The location is stunning with great views and very open and airy feeling! We all felt very at home very quickly. We would 100% look to stay here again and have already recommended this location and this host to a good few people.

Spent a great week here with family, and we all felt at home. The property feels nice and secluded but is only a 10 minute drive from everything you need. loads of options for days out with or without kids and walks within reasonable driving distance. Bea was always easy to contact and very nice to communicate with if needed. highly recommend

We had a magical stay at the cottage! The pictures don’t do justice to it and we highly recommend getting better pictures. We got very lucky with the weather, saw sun, rainbow and snowfall! The place is also aptly located for northern lights sightings. We got amazing sightings from the cottage on two nights. The Aga kitchen is 5 stars in itself! We loved bringing in new years at the cottage with our little baby. The cot and high chair were both super helpful. Thank you Jennifer for being so responsive and helping our stay.

Great stay in a beautiful cottage, so well equipped and very comfortable in a quiet area. Lovely place so close to the beach my grandson loved it as well. Recommend the Cullen Skink soup at Lily’s Cafe, very tasty

Kath’s place was lovely and cozy. With personal touches like games, videos, wood for the fire, kitchen staples and, treats, toys and dishes for the doggos. The only problem with our stay was that it wasn’t long enough. We could have easily stayed another week. Kath was a joy to communicate with, and was very hospitable. There were clear instructions and many suggestions for things to do and where to eat. And most were walkable. The village, itself was quaint and quiet and made us feel right at home, like we did at the cottage. And there were many sights just a short drive away. We loved everything about the stay at Paulas cottage, and will definitely be back! Next time, we will take the time to meet Kath, and make more time to explore. Thanks again for a lovely stay! We had a great holliday. Location and the house were both perfect! The house was spotless and everything you need is there. Lots of great walks from the cottage. We all (family with 3 kids) had a wonderfull holiday.

Our second time staying here. the cottage is perfect as a base to explore Speyside and is a very comfortable place to stay. we would happily book and stay there again

Great location away from the noise of the city centre, the cottage was lovely and clean and had very comfortable beds. I enjoyed the privacy and the surrounding views.

Just returned from a short but pleasant stay at Garden Cottage. The property was very well kept and extremely clean. It remained cool even in the hot weather we had during our visit. The location was perfect, beautiful and very tranquil surroundings. Also ideal for those arriving without transport, an easy walk into Aboyne with all the amenities on hand. Would particularly like to thank the host Elizabeth for always being responsive and providing helpful answers to questions prior to our arrival and remaining available but not intrusive during our stay.

Lovely cosy home from home. Comfortable beds, warm under floor heating, big living room, lovely views.

Very nicely renovated and look very luxurious and every single item and accessories inside the house are very attractive. However, we reached the unit at late night and quite poor lighting. We have hard time to find the house.
