Beautiful lodge. Spotless, comfortable bed, lovely fresh linens. Fantastically equipped. Beautiful views. Just perfect.

Amazing location, very helpful and friendly hosts. Private back garden, ideal for dogs. Dufftown is a beautiful town, also very dog friendly. Our GSP, Clementine, was invited into the Glenfiddich Distillery Shop for treats. We left with a few, ourselves. Highly recommended.

hele lieve mensen, met een lief huisje op hun terrein. Fruit en melk was als welkom aanwezig en ook verse bloemen. Aanrader is Stonehaven en de wandeling naar het kasteel, prachtig.

Absolutely amazing. Very clean and exactly as shown on pictures. I was a bit worried about being cold overnight but the heating was working very well and kept us warm at all times. Netflix wasn’t working- I guess it’s to with the rural area so it affects the internet connection. We weren’t aware of extra electricity charges until the arrival but that didn’t affect our stay what so ever. Everything was spot on. Thank you!

We are a family of four and thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The chalet is comfortable, well-equipped and there are great walking and wildlife watching opportunities on the doorstep.

The cabin is lovely and we especially enjoyed the log burning fire and seating area with comfy swing chair and hammock. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to go to relax and Forres is beautiful too.

We had an amazing time, the cabins are so well situated and so cosy. Such good value for money, we will definitely be back!

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

Lovely location for a wee holiday. Katherine was very helpful and provided lots of useful information for our stay. The place was really clean and very cosy. Katherine generously left us a few provisions for our stay too. Would definitely stay here again.

The pod was absolutely amazing, Lewis was very responsive and flexible when our travel plans changed. Would throughly recommend as a place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay in The Old Fittie Coal Shed. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. Our host, Ian, was very attentive during our stay to check everything was ok. There were lots of well received touches like the fresh flowers, full fridge and breakfast supplies. We felt very well catered for and would definitely consider staying again.

We've spent a lovely weekend at Gemma's place. Very nice and quiet place with big enclosed garden sits in a beautiful countryside location. Gemma was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We're going to recommend this lovely place to our friends. Thank you very much for having us.

This was a perfect remote location to explore Cairngorms. We liked the return to this sanctuary and feeling like we could truly relax after long hikes and drives. Well appointed to be able to make meals easy, sleeping restful and researching by the fire how to spend our days cosy and seamless. Lovely touches like board games suitable for 2 people and maps/guides were a welcome touch. The coffee machine was a hit!

we were only there for a short period of time but wish we could have stayed longer, beautiful hut very homley, Joseph greated us as we arrived, he was so welcoming and showed us everything we needed to know, very lovley man, the hot tub was toasty when we got there, when we walked inside the front door we were greeted with a romantic red love heart balloon with some proceco and some cheeky chocolates, in the morning we sat outside and just listened, the animals we heard it was just so amazing and relaxing, in just a short walk there's a games room that me and my partner had great fun using, plenty to keep us occupied, couldn't have asked for a better valentines day/night, we would just like to say thank you again, we will absolutely be back Deanna & Jordan

Amazing purpose built cabins! Area is very peaceful and location is a great start base for driving all around northern Scotland.

Just the most wonderful stay! Jen was friendly and responsive throughout, from when we first booked until we left. Plans changed meaning we wanted to arrive a day earlier and this was no trouble at all and really helped us out. The eggs from the farm left in the cabin were the cutest little addition. Everything in the cabin was perfect. The little quirky additions that you find each day make you smile and after being out all day and exploring it really does make the cosiest little place to come back to, especially with the log burner ! The views in the morning around the cabin are just beautiful, lovely to spend your morning coffee time outside on the decking area ! The location is also perfect, with a hike up The Cairngorm Mountain being just less than an hour away. We are already planning our trip back and would highly recommend the wee red roost to everybody who asks ! Thank-you all 😁 !

Absolutely lovely place that we didn't want to leave! Very quaint location away from everything. We were surrounded by farm animals, was lovely seeing chickens, rooster and even a peacock running around! The cabin turned out to be more spacious than the photos made it look. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. The highlight was definitely seeing the Aurora on our first night there! Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway, 6/5 stars!

We had a lovely stay. Beautiful and clean place, very friendly host and wonderful scenery. We loved being next to the horses.

Claire’s place was beautiful! Gorgeous views as well. Claire was a lovely host and greeted us when we arrived. The place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our short stay. We would love to return in the future! 😀

The Kiritara Lodge was amazing! We had such a lovely time here and will definitely be returning. Pree and Ben were wonderful hosts – Pree was incredibly helpful and kind. The lodge is spotless and has everything you need. The wood burner is fantastic, and the views, especially paired with a sunset, are breathtaking. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

We loved our stay. The animals are beautiful and wonderful. Our host was always responsive. POD is surprisingly more spacious than I expected. We visited 3 near by castles. We loved the drive from Edinburgh. Water was nice and hot. Very nice. Would stay again!

Had a great couple of days here, very relaxing and just 15mins from Ellon town centre but also in the middle of nowhere. Just perfect! Thank you

The perfect place to stay for the weekend! The hut was cosy and the fire and bath tub were really easy to set up and helpful instructions were included. The area felt nice and secluded but with a town only a 20 minute drive away with plenty of shop and great fish and chips! There was also a walk right next to the hut so also no need to travel anywhere in the car if you’re not wanting to.

This was a very good experience. The position of the pod is very good, only a few metres away from the sea. At night, I fell asleep with the sound of the waves. It was a natural white noise that was very calming. The facilities were also very good, I got everything needed. I highly recommend it!
