A fantastic location with rolling countryside and scenic views all around. The hot tub was fantastic and great for relaxing in after a day of exploring. Debbie and Roger were friendly, helpful and excellent hosts. Highly recommended!

Dawn was incredibly communicative and kind from the very start. I booked for my girlfriend's 30th birthday and everything was perfect. The attention to detail at the place was beautiful and it was amazing to hear of how it was Dawn's lockdown project, which she built herself. I had a special request to see if we could have some other family come for drinks one night after the birthday dinner and Dawn was very obliging, even giving us an extra table from her own home. Couldn't recommend Dawn's place enough - it's stunning and the hot tub was superb!

Lovely little cottage! Exactly as described. Small but has everything that you need. We did need plenty of wood for the hot tub, we brought two big bags of our own so we had enough for 2 nights. First night took a few hours to heat (as it says in the book) but easy enough to do if you follow the instructions in the book which are very clear! Second day it heated up much quicker as we put the lid on right after we finished the night before and then got it started again first thing next morning. Bathroom is small but spotlessly clean! Kitchen very well equipped and they even left us lots of ice in the freezer, bonus! Tarvin high street is 20-30 min walk away (depending on your pace) where we had a lovely meal in Cornichon bistro. All in all a lovely little place to stay 😊

Definitely worth staying!! It is beautiful, for homebodies like myself, it has some good Movies and games! For more active people, there are beautiful walls and sights!! Perfect for any type of person! Carolyn was amazing, whenever i needed help, she was there! Even if it was just a stupid question! Thank you very much, will definitely come back!!!

We had a 2 night stay and the cottage has everything you need. Beautiful place and the photos don’t do it justice. Great base for exploring Wales.

Absolutely beautiful stay at Apple Tree cottage. It was a perfect location, very private and peaceful. The entire cottage was spotless and the hot tub was a perfect addition, as well as the log fire. It’s the perfect getaway for a wholesome, relaxing weekend!

What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay !! The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. There were plenty of snacks and homemade goodies to keep us going and fresh roses, prosecco and heart chocolates for Valentine’s Day which was a lovely touch. Can’t recommend them enough.

Soldiers cottage is a cute, cozy little cottage suitable for a single person or couple. The hot tub outside is covered and private. We cooked in the kitchen and found everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Gina and her husband were both lovely and very welcoming. We had a great relaxing couples break here. Highly recommend.

I had a great stay in this lovely, cosy cottage. I loved how close it was to the station for trips up and down the beautiful Cambrian Coast, and how quiet it was given its proximity to the town. Being in a pedestrian area full of steps probably helped! I would absolutely come back if I am in Barmouth again.

Dear Emma and Andrew Thanking you so much for our stay at your beautiful Lock House, it was just the therapy needed at a very difficult time for my elderly mum. The location is idyllic, we loved hearing the new born lambs and watching them bounce around the field in the sunshine. We even had a visit from a gorgeous swan! Lock House is immaculate inside and out, a real home from home. So clean, comfortable, cosy and well equipped with lots of thoughtful extra touches including the welcome pack and fresh flowers on our arrival. We had a really wonderful restful break and we hope to return again in the future.

Having visited the town over the years, we were glad to be in such a convenient location. Vicki was very responsive and accommodating when organising logistics and once we were in the house there were no issues.

An amazing find. Lisa was so friendly and helpful. Encouraged us to have a great day out on Snowden. The cottage was just what we needed for a comfortable relaxing break. You'll have to stay to see our full review in the guest book, alongside all the glowing comments of other guests. Don't all rush at once as would like to stay again!

The location was wonderfully remote, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The log burner was a fantastic feature, especially on the colder evenings! Us and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful walks nearby, there were a few books/leaflets of things to do, including one book of valley walks - the one starting at Dolwyddelan train station was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil outdoors getaway!

So warm and comfy - great to come back to after a cycle along the lake. Exceptionally well equipped cottage with a fabulous cooker which even tempted me to cook a few meals. It’s very well heated and with the wood burner positively toasty even in February. The village is exceptionally friendly - I spent a lot of time chatting and everyone says hello. The lake is just down the road a great place to swim in a few months time. Philip was very helpful and friendly and always got back really quickly.

Great stay for a long weekend at Ians cottage. Lovely quiet village with plenty of hikes to for without needing to drive. The pub down the road by 40m walk is very very nice and lovely food. Lovely log fire in the cottage which we enjoyed and peaceful surroundings. Well equipt, very comfortable. Loved our stay thanks Ian!

A lovely cottage. Very clean and well appointed. Felt very homely and comfortable. We went with our dog and it worked really well. The garden was completely secure which was a big help. Harlech beach just a short drive away is beautiful. We really enjoyed The Victoria Inn a few minutes drive away. Great food and great interior. Everyone near by was very friendly.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. Carwyn and his dad were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a really lovely addition. Will definitely be visiting again when visiting family in the area.

First of all a very friendly and personable host. An ideal property for a couple Cosy lounge, very usable kitchen, spacious bathroom with large shower cubicle and a good sized bedroom with comfortable bed.

We had a wonderful stay at Anne’s beautiful little cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—Anne had even lit the fire for our arrival. Her communication was proactive and very helpful, making everything smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect—an easy walk into Ludlow, and just a short drive to the stunning Shropshire Hills for scenic walks. The cottage itself was well-equipped, dog-friendly, and had a lovely enclosed courtyard, so our dog could roam safely. A truly relaxing getaway—we’d love to return!

Had such a welcoming and warm stay at the cat view lodge ! There was lots to see and do, and the lodge itself was beautiful and very comfortable. The hot tub was a great addition in a beautiful garden area. Looking forward to coming again soon.

This is a great option at an affordable price! The house is in pristine condition, and the rooms are actually slightly larger than they look on the photos! The beds were comfortable, and the decor was great. Dewi was a fantastic host: responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous stay in Little pudding. Google maps took us right to it. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Felt as though we were the only people in the world when we were there. Easy to nip to Elan valley for a stunning walk. Cosy, warm and quaint. The perfect Valentine’s romantic get away.

Lovely place, very peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was well equipped, clean and cozy. The bed was lovely and so comfy like a big warm hug. Overall we had a lovely stay and wished it was for longer than just 2 nights. We had terrible weather so couldn’t do much exploring but spending time at the cottage in front of the fire and just relaxing was great.
