What a beautiful spot! We loved being in such a peaceful location, just a short walk from being able to swim in the lake. Lovely's place had everything we need, including a nice outdoor area - perfect for storing bikes and drying swimming gear! Lovely was a dream to communicate with and went out of her way to make our stay great. We can't recommend staying here highly enough!

We have a extraordinary stay and incredible experience at Heather and Craig's place. Stunning house, absolutely clean with very comfy beds. It's definitely a quiet place for a good sleep. Super host that welcoming the guests, felt like homey atmosphere. Will definitely come back, highly recommended.

This BnB is not far from the CBD Taupo, 7 min drive. A lovely place, clean and tidy, comfortable bed and a fridge and oven warmer, and perfect for me that wanted drop- in accommodation for a few days. Tina the host is lovely. I would recommend this place to people .

Sandra was so accommodative , putting up with all our last minute requests 🙂 The place is super clean and location was just right for our trip.

Second time I have stayed here - just the cutest kiwi flat with touches that remind me of family holidays over the years. Will definitely use again.

l appartement se trouve au rdc de la maison, sans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Idéalement situé pour aller randonner dans la parc national de Tongariro. Supermarché à 10 minutes en voiture, à Turangi.

Jane is an absolutely incredible host and the space was clean and welcoming. Close to the beach and a short distance from local hiking spots. She gave amazing recommendations for local food, bars and activities, I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay, made to feel very welcome and wonderful hosts. Perfect for our weekend away for the summer concert has everything you need and cosy and clean.

Jude was a wonderful host - very friendly and proactive. She provided a whole list of recommendations for the local area which was super useful. The location of the apartment was a stones throw away from the lake, and the apartment itself was well equipped and spacious. Thanks again, Jude, for your wonderful hospitality!

Lovely property. Everything we needed. Comfortable beds and furniture. Nice patios to sit on. Extra bonus to have a pool table all to our selves and private hot pool!

We had a relaxing stay in the cozy studio. Appreciated the good water pressure and the washing machine. Highly recommended.

Tolle Unterkunft in Taupo (genau wie auf den Bildern) mit super freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern! Wenn es uns mal wieder nach Taupo verschlägt, würden wir sofort wieder bei Jane übernachten!

Don’t look anywhere else!! Although we only had one night here we could not be happier with our stay with Jason. Easy check in and out. Exceptionally clean apartment. Clear instructions before arriving. Could not fault this what so ever and if I was to return I would not hesitate to book again. 5* :)

This is the perfect little place for 1 or 2 people. Everything was so meticulously furnished and there was nothing you needed. Spotlessly clean and every detail felt like a warm hug, right down to the little chocolates and coffee pods. Not too far to drive to the town centre and close to the lake. I will definately come back if visiting NZ in the future. Lake Taupo is such a beautiful place ! Thank you Werner for your fabulous accomodation, loved it !

El mejor alojamiento en el que hemos estado en Nueva Zelanda 😍 Todo muy limpio, bonito y con todo lo necesario para tener una estancia estupenda. Hay mucho espacio para poder colocar dos maletas grandes sin que molesten, un baño grande y lo mejor es la cocina, con todo tipo de utensilios muy bien cuidados para poder cocinar. Además había muchas opciones para desayunar, todo muy bueno. Pudimos hacer la colada y hay una zona de terraza vallada para el alojamiento, todo muy bonito. Sher y Carty han sido encantadores con nosotros, siempre pendientes de que todo fuese bien, interesándose por nosotros y dándonos recomendaciones. Sin duda un sitio para repetir, hemos salido de allí encantados.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. Everything was perfect, even the weather! You responded very quickly to our one query and you certainly provide quality accommodation and it is most definitely a place that warrants staying longer.

We had a wonderful stay here. Lynda was incredibly thoughtful and had the heating and lights on for us and a cold beer and rosé in the fridge for us - very welcome after a long travel day. The space is beautifully renovated and really well thought out - very functional and comfortable for the two of us. We were happy to have the chance to meet both Lynda and Graeme - but also felt that we had a private space. Taupō put on the best weather for us - we were very lucky. So we had lots of opportunities to do lots of outdoorsy things - in between having some great meals. Just follow the recommendations in the guide left for you and you won’t go wrong!

I love it when a weekend away is enhanced by easy accommodation. Jeremy’s place was great. Exactly as described. Clean and tidy and comfortable. Awesome to be able to take dog with us without any dramas. Thanks heaps. Would definately stay again.

We changed our plans due to bad weather and Don was so kind to accommodate us with a same day booking. The communication with him was easy and it was great to meet him in person. The place itself is super clean and spacious and you have perfect lakeview from the bed! Definitely a recommendation!

What a hidden gem while passing through Tūrangi! This spot is located in a quiet neighborhood and served as a great jumping off point for our stay. The real treat here though? All of the attention to detail and thoughtfulness put in by the hosts that might get unnoticed! During our stay, there was available to us: - hiking poles - decent size drying rack for our laundry PLUS laundry soap - ice packs, for our cooler, in the freezer to take on hikes - extra blankets to cozy up with All of that and the fact that restaurants, groceries, and bakeries were also an easy 8-10 min walk, were all things we didn’t expect when we booked our stay. One last recommendation: Tokaanu Thermal Pools is about 4 mins away as well. If you’re coming through to hike, this is a must to relax your bones after a day exploring.

Had a great four days. Apartment is walking distance to lake, nearby restaurants and shops. Margaret got in touch with good instructions on how to access the apartment. Worried there might be noise as it was Supercars weekend but was lovely and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

We needed to extend our stay our twice and Susan was very helpful to deal with.
