The house was beautiful, quiet, clean, and relaxing with a great outdoor space and view! We had a great time and hope to go back one day

This home is located in a prime central location that is only minutes from LSU.  Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming home! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night’s sleep every night. Because of the cold weather, we couldn’t enjoy the pool, however the jacuzzi was such a highlight—the perfect form of relaxation. The fire pits provided the cozy vibe, perfect for gathering around for a great time. We also loved the fully stocked kitchen, making a home cooked meal easy and enjoyable. The decor, with its cool 70s vibe, was so fun and added to the overall charm of the place. Great place for memories. We truly appreciated the thoughtful details and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

Serene little getaway with all the amenities. We appreciated the washer and dryer with provided laundry pods, fully equipped kitchen, indoor + outdoor fireplaces (+ wood provided), and perhaps the jacuzzi most of all! Gorgeous scenery and secluded road for a peaceful morning/ evening stroll. Couldn’t have loved it more!

Candy called to let us know the property we booked did not have water and she was upgrading us to another one of her properties. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the swamp dock. The hot tub on the screened in porch was a very welcome relaxation after spending the day out sightseeing. We would definitely rent another one of her properties.

This was a great weekend getaway place. In the country but close enough to town for quick trips. Very peaceful and quiet. Right on the river banks. We really enjoyed the screened porch and hot tub. Weather was not in our favor so the covered porch was great. We plan on returning soon. House was decorated and set up nicely. Very functional kitchen.
