This is a large property in Saiq, Jebel Al Akhdar providing private accommodation in this very special village in the mountains. We were very well looked-after by Muntaser who showed us around the stunning landscape and local villages including Al Aqor, Wadi Bani Habib and Al Suwgra (now an exclusive boutique hotel clinging to the mountainside where your baggage has to be transported via zipwire across the valley). He kindly drove our car from place to place so that we could do as little or as much exploring on foot as we wished. His experience of driving on the insanely steep off-road tracks was invaluable - despite the Nissan Patrol being a very capable 4x4, I would have been too nervous to do this myself! The most special treat was being invited for قهوة (coffee) which was a great honour appreciated by the whole family. Thank you Saif!

È stato tutto perfetto! É un’oasi di pace e tranquillità, nel bel mezzo delle natura, con la possibilità di fornirsi dei prodotti della terra amorevolmente coltivata dai proprietari (verdure, uova…), le capanne poi sono curate nei minimi dettagli in elegante stile Omanita. Nelle immediate distanze non c’è molto ma con l’auto si possono raggiungere facilmente siti bellissimi (il deserto, i Wadi, Nizwa…), per poi rilassarsi a bordo piscina! Lo consigliamo vivamente a chi ama la natura e la tranquillità!

Mohammed's house is neat and located perfectly just before the Balcony walk, the only reason I chose to stay there. The location is perfect and peaceful. Since we are vegetarian, we carried our own food, but there is an Omani family nextdoor who were offering home cooked meals. I plan to revisit next month with a friend visiting Muscat.

The Villa is a little paradise surrounded by gardens in a quiet residential neighbourhood close to the historic city centre. Azzan was very welcoming, helpful and friendly in his communications. The villa and gardens are beautifully maintained and very clean. We enjoyed our stay immensely and are planning to return the next time we are in Nizwa.

We had an exceptional stay at this villa in Jabal Akhdar! The place was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a perfect retreat in the mountains. The heated swimming pool was a fantastic feature, allowing us to relax and enjoy the cool climate in total comfort. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. The caretaker was also very helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the mountains and easy access to nearby attractions. It truly made our trip unforgettable. For the price, this villa was excellent value for money! We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Jabal Akhdar. Would definitely stay here again!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Misfat al Abriyyin. Die Unterkunft ist genau wie Inserat beschrieben. Ahmed und seine Mitarbeiter waren sehr gastfreundlich und haben uns auch einmal zu einem Kaffee im Rogan Café nebenan eingeladen. Die Unterkunft ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt zu Wanderungen im Hadjar-Gebirge, man braucht nur etwas über eine Stunde mit dem Auto zu den Ausgangspunkten für die Wanderungen am Jebel Shams. Die Naturdusche fanden wir sehr cool 🤩 Der Garten bietet ausreichend Privatsphäre und ist schön gestaltet. Während des Ramadan sollte man beachten, dass die Unterkunft über keine Küche verfügt und direkt in der Nähe des Dorfes nur ein Foodtruck (mit sehr guten Burgern) nach Iftar öffnet. Einkaufen und weitere Restaurants gibt es nur im ca. 15 Minuten entfernten Al Hamra. Wenn man sich ein bisschen organisiert, ist das aber kein großes Problem. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Stunning property,one of the most unique places we have ever stayed in. Rustic but with all the necessary amenities. The old mango tree is literally incorporated into the building, the palm tree oasis below oozes calm and the pool was lovely after a day's hiking.
