Our stay at Nest in the Forest was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The space was warm, cozy, and incredibly spacious—perfect for our group. The beautiful hot tub and sauna were such a treat, making our stay even more relaxing. Every detail of the place was thoughtfully designed, creating a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

My fiancee and I wanted a place where we could experience winter with our 14 month old son. This cottage was perfect. It's on a beautiful, quiet, large piece of property. There was so much snow on the ground but we were still able to enjoy ourselves! There was a massive snow storm coming so unfortunately we had to end our visit early. The inside of the cottage is set up beautifully and has everything you should need. Our son is just learning to walk and had a blast zooming around the main floor. Even though we had to leave early we still enjoyed our stay and would love to check it out again. Luke, Kelce, Grady

the stay at Victoria's place was very quiet and relaxing at her location just out of town, her location is surrounded by the beauty of nature. Victoria her self is a very friendly and pleasant host , she will greet you with a smile, thanks Victoria

We did a weekend getaway at this Airbnb in the middle of winter, and a snowstorm. The hosts were very accommodating allowing us to arrive and leave with our safety in mind. They were responsive, and checked in to ensure we were comfortable and had no issues. As for the cottage, it is exactly as described. Probably, one of the cleanest cottage I have gone too. All amenities as described in the listing were available. It is a very homey cottage with an incredible view. The backyard is massive, and we would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the backyard. All in all, highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet peaceful getaway.

The farmhouse was exactly what we needed for a quick "meet in the middle" get-together with our kids that are now living in Ottawa and Toronto. Denise was an excellent host and the farmhouse has absolutely everything, really. It is the most well equipped Airbnb that we have stayed at. Denise was very accommodating as we had left the birthday cake behind and had to return well after our checkout to retrieve it. It was just too bad we only had the one night!

Such a unique stay! The school was easy to get into and find our classroom (even though we arrived late at night), and we loved falling asleep with the windows open to the sound of crickets. It was exactly like the description, with everything we needed (including coffee creamer, which was a really nice touch!). The beds were comfy, we could not hear the other classroom renters, and everything was clean. It is a quick 10 min walk into the little town, and PECish bakery was divine. It was also nice and close to Sandbanks Provincial Park, with a beautiful 15min drive through the country side. Everyone loved the giant chalkboard! We would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful spot, quite private and spacious! We loved the view from the big windows and porches! I hope we can return some time for another enjoyable vacation.

Our stay at Bill and Denise's place was perfect! The central location to downtown Picton was great, we could walk to the Millennium trail, great local restaurants and hotspots and it was a quick commute to the PEC wine trail and Sandbanks Provincial Park. The unit was clean and cozy and Bill and Debise were great hosts and made recommendations or local things to do. We will be back!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

Zac and Steph were super friendly and responsive. Their place was very clean and exactly as described. We had a lovely weekend in the pod :) Definitely would recommend.

My family and girlfriends spent the weekend here at Richard’s place for my bachelorette. What a beautiful, peaceful, and fun stay. From the beginning to end the owner was very helpful and friendly. The space was even nicer in person than in the photos and exceeded our expectations! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how great everything was and how we all would love to come back. Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you, Cindy and Desmond for making this another unforgettable experience

Natalia and Evgeney were great hosts. They were both very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Check-in was flexible and easy thanks to Evgeney, who did a great job at setting us up with our cabin. The cabin itself was exactly as advertised. We found it to be very clean. The view of Rice Lake from our cabin was great, and the area is really peaceful and quiet. Overall, we had a great time here! It was a perfect relaxing weekend.

Eric and Larissa’s house was perfect for the wedding we attended at the Bright house, the location is perfect for most of what the county has to offer. The home it’s self is perfect every thing you need is there and then some. Bbq to the fire pit and kids play land it’s perfect for! Larissa was very responsive and met every need! Margaret seemed very nice, she left croissants in the kitchen for us to have in the morning. Overall a very cozy spot to stay and we had no issues. One thing I noticed is that there's an adjoining door that connects from her side of the building to ours and I'm not sure if it locks, maybe it does but I didn't see a lock option on my side. Anyway it still felt private and we definitely got what we paid for.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. Very clean and comfortable old stone farmhouse but with modern finishing and amenities. My kids particularly loved the hot tub and we had fun tootling around the local town. Only minutes away from Picton and Bloomfield among others so very convenient location.
