What a beautiful place to stay. It had everything you needed and had very quiet surroundings. The spa is an added bonus. Perfect temperature. Beach not far away.

We had a really nice stay. Lisa was very responsive and helped out whenever required.

Had a lovely weekend at Tesses Retreat. The space is very homely and comfortable. Julie was a great host and provided breakfast and other goodies for us to enjoy during our stay. We would definitely stay again!

The cabins are peaceful and perfect for a weekend getaway. The bush tracks were fun to explore and there is plenty of fire wood if you get cold. The cabins aren’t too far away from each other so you always feel safe but far enough away it’s still private feeling.

we had a lovely stay. Tania and Cameron were great hosts and were very accommodating. the cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay. we loved the cabin location, very peaceful and secluded with a great view. Great 4WD tracks that cater for all levels and had a lot of fun. Will be back to camp with kids near the river - campsites look great and spacious.

loved the quiet country feel, Sarah was an excellent host, very helpful, great communication and check in and departure was a breeze. Just wish we could have stayed longer...

In summary, outstanding accomodation in a beautiful location. This would be the best Airbnb we have stayed. The design, comfort and setup, from the kitchen to the bathroom; is five star. We were provided an amazing breakfast selection, bread, croissants, jams and juices, as well as a bottle of wine. Communication was easy. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has been applied to making this a great experience. We will definitely stay again.

Despite the super hot weather, my partner and I enjoyed our stay at the den. Was a very peaceful stay, clean space and close drive to great resturaunts in hahndorf/Mt barker. Thanks Nel :)

Had a great stay in den #4, love the place, the attention to details and how sparking clean it was. Comfy bed, amazing views, forest sounds, so peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful scenery, perfect for a weekend getaway in nature away from the busy city lifestyle. Nel was super friendly, very responsive, easy to communicate with. Didn’t get the chance to use the fire pit because of fire ban but that would be an incredible bonus in winter/autumn!

This place is just incredible. So much attention to detail, so much care and love. It oozes out of every room how much Chloe loves this place. The fresh baked bread and personalised note that awaited me, the puzzle and watercolour paints, the rainbow library, the rainbow glass in the bathroom, the garden! The list of things I enjoyed is endless. I only wished I had more time here. Or just lived here! Or that Chloe came and decorated my house too. I cannot recommend this place enough and Chloe, amazing job, you created something truly special and unique here. Thanks for sharing it with the world!
