It was really such a beautiful place, very clean and such an amazing place.

This place is a gem! A tiny cottage with everything you need overlooking the Karoo plains and under the most incredible night sky! Graham is a fantastic host and great recommendations for things to do. I’d recommend no more than 4 in the cottage. But it has everything you need!

Beautiful and private little garden cottage. The overall feel is lovely and spacious with the open plan kitchen and living room. Would be a cozy winter spot with the fire place. Would recommend.

Elsona was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were driving late into the night, and she graciously allowed us to check in well after the usual time. She also arranged for the security team to watch over our car, which was parked on the street, giving us extra peace of mind. Elsona was very responsive, answering all our questions promptly. The barn is absolutely charming and beautifully decorated, just like in the pictures. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time to fully enjoy it, but it’s definitely a place I’d recommend booking if you're in the area!

Always our first choice stop-over accommodation on the N9. Karoo Stilte is well located, spacious, private and well equipped - just what you need for one or more night of rest.

Absolutely beautiful place! We would have loved to stay longer!

The host was quick to respond, great with instructions, helpful and friendly. We had car trouble and arrived 10pm at night, the host was still friendly and very accommodating. After a rough ride, we found the space pristine, the bed fluffy and aircon a cherry on top!

We stayed for one night on the way to Cape Town and we had a wonderful stay in this charming old house, which is full of character and beautifully maintained. The high ceilings and elegant details add to its charm, making it a truly special place. The location is perfect—centrally situated, making it easy to explore the area. One of the highlights was the beautiful garden, where we enjoyed dinner outside in a peaceful and relaxing setting. The house is equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Overall, an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay!
