What an amazing place, truly wonderful as somewhere to regain some peace. There are nice walking trails nearby, and the house itself is so welcoming and cozy: an excellent place to play games (there are some available!) or snuggle up with a book in front of the fire. There’s plenty of space, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and baking. And Loraine is a wonderful host: communicative and generous (we made mac & cheese, and she provided us the little flour we needed so we didn’t have to buy a whole bag). The stair steps are narrow, so not a good choice if that is difficult for you, but that wasn’t a problem for us. I’d gladly have stayed much longer!

Great and very cute place, perfect location for skiing

A cosy Vermont getaway - the perfect Carriage House stay. The Carriage House was charming, cozy and spacious with a warm inviting feel that makes you want to curl up with a hot chocolate. The hosts clearly put thought into every detail from the comfortable furnishings to the well stocked kitchen prefect for having a hearty breakfast from one of the local coffee shops before heading out to the ski slopes or walking around downtown Burlington. If you are looking for a spot thats close to the mountains but still lets you enjoy a vibrant town atmosphere the Carriage House is a gem. We''ll definitely be back - maybe next time when the snow melts so we can enjoy Lake Champlain and Burlington in the summer.

Charming aptly describes Leslie and Michael's guest house. It is lovely, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and Leslie's artwork throughout the house makes it special. It is equipped with everything you need and the location is excellent - a couple blocks from downtown and walking distance to the race track. Leslie and Michael were warm and receptive hosts, making us feel welcome. Without a doubt, we would definitely stay there again.

Catherine was super friendly! She greeted us upon arrival which made us feel so welcomed. She lives right next door which was nice to know and was very communicative. The cottage is private and cozy. A great place for pups! As recommended by her sister, I woke up bright and early to see the sunset and it was my favorite part of our stay. It’s definitely the place to go if you’re looking to flee the city and loud noise. We got to see the lunar moon while we were there too! You can tell Catherine put a lot of detail into her cottage and it was lovely. All in all, a great time.

Dori's place was lovely. There is a nice park very close to walk your dog and I felt very safe at Dori's. You can walk to Pine Street where you will find restaurants. I highly recommend Dori's place.

Was our first time renting an Airbnb and was such a great experience would do it again! Corey’s place is exactly as described, comfortable,clean and accessible. She communicated very quickly on all of my questions! Beds were very comfortable and had all amenities we needed and more. Hopefully it is available next year for us!

Check in was smooth and everything matches the description. Cute little cottage for our stay. Will definitely be back!

Great guest house in a quiet section on the east side of the lake. We were looking for a spot away from the holiday weekend tourists and this was perfect for that. We enjoyed swimming off the deep water dock and relaxing on chairs on the dock overlooking the whole lake. The guest house is pretty new (probably 1-2 year old construction) so everything worked, was new and clean, etc. There was one review about the lack of landscaping - it is still a bit of a construction zone so if you have little kids you want to be able to run a around a yard it’s not quite easy for that. We were fine going straight from the guest house to the dock so it didn’t impact our enjoyment of the property. If you want a place away from throngs of tourists, this is a great spot!

Overall beautiful place in a beautiful area. Close to Burlington with lots to do and outdoor activities. Only thing I would advise is make sure you have a vehicle that is good on dirt roads, the road to the house is dirt and quite steep in sections. Great place to stay!

We had an amazing stay at Kristin and Dave’s cottage and cannot wait to return. The cottage was spotless, very well equipped, and supremely comfortable. Both Kristin and Dave were very responsive, extremely helpful, and provided great instructions and assistance. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. The outdoor space was such a nice option, and the porch and pool were so nice to relax in. We wholeheartedly recommend the cottage!

Very nice accommodations in convenient location. Covered parking and large deck were great and unexpected. Nice quiet spot that is still close to everything.

Our stay at Nancy's was just what we needed after a long week in the Adirondacks. We chose this place for the location near the river and it helped cut our trip home to Pittsburgh down. The place is just as described and made even better with the simple touches and thoughtfulness that Nancy has put into the space. We landed for just one night and spent most of our time outside on the dock watching the beautiful river and natural surroundings. We saw many birds and a few beavers - while drinking our morning coffee a bald eagle gave us a show and made our trip end on a wonderful note :) I would recommend staying with Nancy to anyone who finds themselves in the area and wants a slice of comfort and nature to lodge in. On our way out of town, we went to a local diner that Nancy had recommended, Lakes Sweets and Treats for a delicious homestyle breakfast and made our way up to the country store from there to pick up a few local maple syrup bottles to gift our friends. Exactly as described - peaceful unit overlooking a beach on Lake Champlain. Short drive to area restaurants and about a 15-minute drive to the waterfront park area of Burlington. We loved the unobstructed view of mountains across the lake.

This was my second time staying at Sarah’s place, and it was just as great the second time around! Really appreciated the charging cords and the laundry machines. Came to visit family on Christmas, so location was super convenient. Warm, comfy, and just what we needed!

Cozy cabin; fit our needs perfectly for the few days! Accommodated us brining our cat and dog. Just close enough to several mountains and parks with tons around to do. Happy to return and recommend!

We were in town for a family wedding and this was the perfect place for 20 or so of us to spend the weekend. Everything was great. We were so comfortable and had so much fun! Thank you to Meiling, Martin, Mayra, and all the folks who assist them with housekeeping and logistics. Hope to find an excuse to return, as everyone was sorry when our stay came to an end. Highly recommend without hesitation.

We stayed at Melissa's loft for about 5 months and were very happy with it! Super cute and cozy, as advertised, very clean, host very responsive, great view of the lake. The loft is above a storage garage on the host's property but separate from their house and has a completely private entrance. Highly recommend :)

Beautiful cabin with authentic Adirondack furniture in great location!

We enjoyed our trip up to the county cottages so much! It was so refreshing to have everything we needed on our trip (even some things we forgot to pack). It is a very serene, quiet and friendly place. They have a beautiful place there with so much to do for the whole family. We are already planning our trip next year to go back! They have two large playgrounds for kids, one is a treehouse which was a huge hit for both my kids. The game room had some arcade games and a ping pong table which we used daily. They also have a pavilion that you can grill food, relax and play a game of pool. Right next to that they have a fire pit with a ton of Adirondack chairs. The pool was heated and was very clean! Bonnie gave us tons of recommendations for local restaurants in town and was always around saying hello and asking how we were doing. That made us feel very welcome. We are looking forward to coming back and saying with them next year!

Our family of 7 stayed at Tom’s place from Friday-Sunday and we felt right at home! The kids absolutely loved it and loved being outside. The place was clean and ready for us an hour before check in and the hosts replied to us very fast! I have a hard time falling asleep in new places and slept great here. Would absolutely be coming back 😊
