Abbiamo soggiornato le prime due settimane di ottobre e non posso che fare una recensione super positiva di questo posto. Casa molto bella e accogliente, con una vista mare meravigliosa, non puoi non svegliarti bene! Posizione ottima per raggiungere varie mete in macchina, oltre che ad essere a soli 20 minuti di macchina da Chania. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla bontà e dalla gentilezza dell’host, mamma di Gorgios, una persona davvero di cuore e molto disponibile. Ci tengo a dare un consiglio a chi andrà in futuro in uno di questi appartamenti : di avere cura dei gattini che girano lì, sono dolcissimi e una carezza in più fa per loro la differenza ♥️ Noi tutte le sere gli davamo da mangiare delle scatolette di carne. Non potendoli salvare tutti, nel nostro piccolo si puo’ fare la cosa più giusta per loro!

À peine partis nous regrettons déjà cet appartement, la vue à quasiment 360 degré est magnifique. A deux pas de la plage, quelques minutes à pieds du centre ville, et pour couronner le tout, des hôtes incroyablement gentils et disponibles avec de très bons conseils. Nous vous recommandons ce logement assurément. PS: appartement très agréable, spacieux, très bien équipé et confortable (literie au top).

Ce logement est parfaitement bien placé pour aller faire tous les points d’intérêt de la région de Rethymnon. La proximité avec la route n’est pas gênante car celui ci est extrêmement bien insonorisé et les chambres donnent sur un tres beau jardin (avec jeux enfant) et sur la mer. A noter que fin Octobre la zone est plus que calme donc on a le restaurant et la plage pour nous seul. Parking en bas de l’appart. Je recommande!

A compact and comfortable apartment, right at the heart of the village, yet surprisingly quiet. Great shower and very comfortable bed. Everything was as described and shown in photos. Communication with the hosts was good and they were helpful.

Theo's apartment is stunning! It has the perfect view, is comfortable and provides everything you need for a lovely stay in Chania. Highly recommend it - perfect!

We spent a week in George's apartment with a group of four friends. The apartment is located in a perfect setting to explore the island of Crete. However, as it is located on a beautiful beach and also offers a pool as well as a number of other leisure opportunities (e.g. table tennis, beach volleyball court), we barely felt the need to leave the place. The apartment itself was super clean and perfectly equipped for self-catering. In the evenings, we enjoyed wonderful sunsets from the spacious balcony in front of a beautiful sea and mountain backdrop. We often completed our evenings by visiting one of the three tavernas in walking distance offering authentic and affordable Greek cuisine with a panoramic view of the beach. During our stay, George was personally available for any kind of questions at any time. We were also deeply impressed by George's hospitality and his obliging manner. Once again, thank you very much George for the wonderful time. We will definitely come back as soon as we go to Crete again!

What an amazing place! Ioannis has thought about everything you could ever need and it is there!! Every thing was immaculate, beautiful white linen, beach towels, the best kitchen ever. Ioannis very thoughtfully had provided large bottles of water and fresh fruit in the fridge which I thought was wonderful. We had a problem on arrival which was sorted so quickly, thank you Ioannis! We have been to many Airb&bs and this was the best. So near the sea and fantastic restaurants, i miss the wonderful food! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Georgios. L'appartement est à deux pas de la plage, vous trouvez des restaurants et commerces dans la rue ou à 300m dans le village. Les chambres sont très spacieuses (plus grandes qu'il n'y paraît dans l'annonce). La terrasse est très agréable et le parking gratuit est juste a côté. Les serviettes de bain et de plage sont fournies. Nous avons trouvé que Kalyvès est bien situé pour visiter l'ouest de la Crète. Nous reviendrons !

Just back from 10 amazing days at Casa del Mar - an oasis of peace and quiet, from wherever you're coming from. The house sits atop a hill, with the most wonderful views across the sea to an island and the rest of the Cretan mainland. That view was the backdrop to many meals, family conversations, and fun-filled evenings. The house is large, with plenty of room for the 8 of us who stayed there. Great facilities throughout, with AC, 4 clean bathrooms, and two kitchens. We used the outdoor grill one evening to make BBQ and it worked well (charcoal). The infinity pool was another meeting place throughout the week. Deep, clean, and with that same incredible view, we spent a LOT of time in it. The family also enjoyed a very unique aspect to this house - direct access to the sea from the path that winds down from the house. We spent hours snorkeling here, up and down the coast, and saw a large number of fish and other sea life. Overall, an oasis of calm. Run, don't walk!

The perfect house, in an amazing location. Fani was lovely, and there to welcome us even though we arrived very late, close to midnight, due to flight delays. The house is very well equipped with everything one could need, not to mention beautiful and very well-appointed. And did I mention the location? Incredible - garden gate literally opens on to the beach. Ideal for midnight swims under stars. The garden itself is lovely, spacious, green, with mature tamarisk trees (one hung with a hammock that is the perfect place to dose off to the sound of the waves), plus a wonderful barbecue. Kolymbari is a lovely village, not too over-developed, but with plenty of delightful tavernas and bars and cafes, a marvellous gift and trinket shop, boat hire, and the beautiful monastery of Panagia Odigitria. Our party (of 6) agreed this is probably the most perfect place we’ve ever stayed.

L’appartement est très bien situé, agréable et préparé avec goût. Je précise que nous sommes venus en hiver donc je ne peux rien dire quant au bruit dehors en été.

We had a fantastic stay at Seaside Villa Lavrys. The villa itself is spacious, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful area with a lovely view. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, but do keep in mind that you’ll need a car to get around as the location is a bit remote. Taxi transportation from Chania costs around €30. What truly made our experience special was our host, Alex. From the moment we booked, Alex was incredibly responsive and attentive, always available to answer any questions we had. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay, offering great local tips and assistance whenever needed. His kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference in our trip. Alex’s family was also very warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly stay in Crete, and Alex’s hospitality made it even better.

An amazing stay at a gorgeous house on the beach - a pleasure to watch your kids play in the sand while you sit on a private terrace just above. Restaurants (and the people running them) were absolutely wonderful. Its a small area, detached from the city and large tourism projects elsewhere. But Marathi Beach has everything you need for a very relaxing and enjoyable visit. My only comment is that the home lacks an indoor livingroom / dining area. It didn't bother us as we happily ate at the covered outdoor table or sat by the beach in the covered loungers - but this may not suit someone looking to relax inside in the late evening

This place was absolutely amazing. My entire group had 0 issues and were more than satisfied with the comfort and accessibility. Would definitely recommend to any small group looking to hang out in the Chania beach area! Thank you so much for the hospitality and accommodations!

My boyfriend and I visited during Christmas time(2024). She had filled the apartment with Christmas lights and decorations, which after a long day of traveling, immediately put us in the holiday spirit. She was very easy to communicate with and after learning of my boyfriends love of pizza she provided us with a personalized list of the best pizzas around town. There was also a booklet in the apartment with a rundown of the city(history, restaurants, sightseeing, etc) which is helpful to anyone visiting from another country. Would definitely come back to Chania as well as this apartment! Thank you Katerina!

We were very pleased with the place. The walking distance to the beach made it easier and an enjoyable experience for our two children. We also had access to a walking distance supermarket, restaurants, rental car and bus station which we made used of during our stay. The beach was lovely and family friendly. The place was clean and had everything we required for our family. Thank for Paul!

Chrisi ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin! Sie war jederzeit hilfsbereit und immer gut gelaunt und freundlich . Die Wohnung ist perfekt für Ausflüge , aber auch perfekt zum Strand um die Ecke. Dazu ist alles vorhanden , was man zum Leben braucht und es gibt sogar eine kleine Flasche Raki im Kühlschrank zur Begrüßung. Wir werden wieder mal hierher kommen!! Brigitte und Peter

Valias place was amazing ! We dealt with her mum Katerina who was super friendly and always on the phone if I needed anything. Perfect location with stunning views of the Venetian port . Everywhere easy to get to. The beach about a 30 min walk and a beautiful one at that. Highly recommend and are looking forward to booking again nxt year 😀

This apartment really was a highlight of our stay. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay lovely - When we arrived there were fresh flowers, biscuits, Jams, butter, coffee, cheese, fruit and water! Made us feel right at home. Perfect location, quiet and very safe! Only 15/20 mins to walk to the old town, we love a walk - it’s right along the coast too! The area is away from the hustle and bustle so it’s nice and quiet, you can hear the sea, which is so peaceful! Overall, amazing! Genuinely the best host we’ve had!

Amazing host, a small apartment in the perfect quiet location just next to a small beach. Love it a lot as it was not touristic. And there is free parking next to it which is even better. Highly recommended!!!! Definitely will come back to Crete <3

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit traumhafter Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. Super Ausstattung, die Einrichtung ist individuell, geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Alles top, einfach zum Wohlfühlen! Perfekte Lage, um Chania zu Fuß zu erkunden. Gleichzeitig ruhig gelegen zum Relaxen und die tollen Ausblicke zu genießen. Zum Venezianischen Hafen bzw. in die Altstadt ist es ein schöner kleiner Spaziergang über die Uferpromenade an zahlreichen Restaurants vorbei. Persönlicher und sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeberin, die Kommunikation ist top. Liebe Christina, vielen Dank, wir haben uns in deiner Wohnung und in Chania sehr wohlgefühlt und möchten unbedingt wiederkommen!
