Agujitas de Drake : locations de vacances

We really enjoyed our stay at Tapirus Playa - Vincent was a very responsive and helpful host, the view is really as beautiful as the photos, and the location is perfect. A few notes from our experience which may assist others: - Google maps is not entirely accurate in the town. It will generally send you to the right area, but you'll want to rely on good old fashioned "looking around" once you get there. - Water in town is not recommended to drink - you can easily purchase jugs of water at the local stores, or bring some with you. - Infrastructure in town is a bit of a work in progress. During our stay, there were periodic brief electricity outages, and twice we lost water. You may consider filling any empty jugs of water you've already used with tap water for toilet flushes (which was the most disruptive part of losing water). None of it is in the host's control, but it's good to be prepared :)

Villa en pleine jungle avec cascades pour se rafraîchir. Une vue sur les arbres avec en bande son les oiseaux et multiples sons de la jungle. Un vrai dépaysement! Un bon lieu de base pour partir explorer le Corcovado (treck à faire!) A recommander!

We had some trouble locating/accessing Samuel’s place due to the fact that we drove and instructions were unclear. And even though we knew there were rivers to cross, it had rained that day and it was WAY scarier than we expected! Beyond that, Samuels place was great. We loved the accessibility to the beach which was AMAZING and almost always empty!It was unbelievably gorgeous and catching the boats to our tours from the beach was awesome! The restaurant on site is the only option for food due to the remote location. The food was very good and reasonably priced ($12 per meal). You just pay at the end before checking out, very convenient. Samuel was quick to respond to anything we needed and help us solve a couple issues!

Fabulous stay. Accommodation was amazing. The pool area is lovely. The breakfast and dinner were good. Ellie the Chef, catered for our dietary requirements which made our stay hassle free and very relaxing. The resident pets were a bonus and enjoyed cuddles with them.

Beautiful Private Home With A Pool In Drake Bay! Was A Wonderful House That Was Fully Equipped! We Cooked A Few Meals In This Home & Everything Was Provided! The Bedrooms Have A/C Which Was Amazing In Such Humid Weather! They Also Offer Daily House Cleaning & Pool Cleaning During Your Stay! We Loved The Area & Walked Many Times To The Beach, Grocery Store & Restaurants! The Host Was Amazingly Responsive & Helped Us In Organizing Our Transportation Via Boat Taxi From Sierpe To Drake Bay! The Host Also Had A Private Taxi Meet Us At Drake Bay Beach To Assist With Our Luggage On Arrival! Was A Wonderful Experience!

Mike nous a accueillis par un "bienvenus au paradis"!!!Et nous nous sommes sentis comme dans un paradis tropical. Une maison en bois au milieu de la forêt avec les oiseaux pour réveil-matin. Nous avons pu observer des singes capucins et un toucan lors de nos balades. Sans parler des tours nocturne et ornitholgique avec Gustavo, que Mike avait reservé pour nous. En resumé Mike est un hote chaleureux et amical et Suchante est enchanteur.

Ce logement dispose d’une vue incroyable sur la baie de Drake. Top pour admirer les oiseaux. Il y a un grand espace extérieur avec une table et de quoi s’asseoir et admirer la vue. La cuisine est bien équipée, attenante à l’espace extérieur. La literie est moyenne. La famille qui tient ce petit hôtel est vraiment très sympa, le petit-déj’ avec la vue est au top. Le vrai seul inconvénient, c’est qu’il faut monter pas mal d’escaliers pour y arriver, mais c’est le prix de la jolie vue !

Am Hügel gelegen in Alleinlage, mit traumhaften Blick auf die Drake Bay ist diese Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen! Die Unterkunft bietet fast alles, was man braucht. Eine Bettablage und Bettlampe wären empfehlenswert. Wichtig zu wissen, dass das Haus keine Glasfenster hatte, sondern rundherum um die Holzgitter ein Mückengitter gezogen war, was die Insekten abhielt. Ansonsten war das Haus "offen". Das ist aber kein Kritikpunkt. Zu Fuß gelangt man über einen sehr schönen Weg zu anderen Traumbuchten. Lebensmittel sind in kurzer Nähe zu kaufen und man ist auch in kurzer Zeit unten in der Drake Bay mit verschiedenen Restaurants. Es hat uns dort sehr gut gefallen!!

Magical spot right on the water. With the help of Google translate Cholo brought us fans on request and helped us organise kayaks which we'd highly recommend - we went for a beautiful afternoon kayak & took it out again for a quick spin in the night to see the bioluminescent plankton (we were lucky to have a dark night). The place is rustic so pack your bug spray & note only cold showers. But the bed nets were a good reprive for sleeping. It's so beautiful, we saw macaws & toucans from the stoop & a bat flew right into the house! & the kitchen was well equipped (stove top only).
