Ahangama : locations de vacances en bord de mer

Fantastiskt hus och natur med mycket vilda djur på stor mark. (påfåglar, fladdermöss) Hundarna är ett problem för mig som är hundrädd vilket drar ner upplevelsen något då de både skäller på natten och strövar runt poolen på dagarna. (notera: De är snälla) Servicen och personalen på plats va hjälpsamma och snälla. Vi älskade kvällsbad i poolen, en fin promenad ner till stranden och ett avlägset privat boende med autentisk känsla. AC på rummet är ett måste, fint att det fanns. Vi älskade Polhena och matlagningskursen i Sambol Garden.

Dieser Ort ist ein absolutes Paradies! Es ist noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos hier. Der Pool ist wunderschön und man bekommt sehr leckeres Frühstück, wenn man es vorher ankündigt. Vom Bett aus kann man die Wellen hören und draußen auf einer Liege entspannen. Ruzaik ist ein toller Gastgeber, der immer zur Stelle war und uns Unternehmungen empfohlen hat. Da wir ein einjähriges Kind dabei hatten und unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig war, durften wir in ein anderes Zimmer zum Ausruhen und wir bekamen direkt Wasser, Kekse und Früchte gebraucht. Vielen Dank für alles!

Pavi, Bathi and their family and friends are the loveliest of people, always ready to help or offer advice when needed. Our apartment was situated on the 2nd floor and was lovely, bedroom and bathroom bare very large as is the kitchen diner, if there was anything you needed Pavi got it sorted asap, the grounds are immaculate and have a plethora of wildlife wandering the grounds, the use of the swimming pool was a great addition. Polhena itself is situated in a great spot for travelling out from and has a wonderful little beach(it does get busy at weekends). Shops are in walking distance as is the main town of Matara or a short fun tuk tuk ride. Colombo and other places are easily accessible via buses or train, both a fun way to travel. We will be back.

If you’re looking for a private beach with the ocean, this is the place for you! Far from popular tourist spots, you’ll find peace and tranquility here. There are several oceanfront restaurants nearby. The staff is attentive, and excellent breakfasts were included!

Great place to stay for the price. Very spacious and clean. Ishu was very accommodating, helpful, great communication! We had great rest, beds were very comfy and big. 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants. They also have a cute friendly dog. Great place to stay if you planning to spend some time in the area. Highly recommended

I spent 2 nights with my wife at Prabodi's wonderful establishment. It had every amenity as mentioned in the description. It was walking distance from the Mirissa Beach, with many restaurants and cafes nearby. With peacocks and friendly dogs nearby, as animal lovers we had a fantastic time here! Prabodi was an extremely proactive and nice host. She helped us with extremely helpful tips on places to go to, with kitchen amenities and for cab services (for a discount) to nearby cities. Can't recommend this place enough. Thanks Prabodi :)

The dog house var verkligen jättevackert och fint inrett med otrolig utsikt. Byn låg lite avsides men alla var otroligt vänliga och hjälpsamma , inte minst Lahiru själv som hjälpte oss med vad vi än behövde. Då boendet saknade AC var det väldigt varmt då vi var där eftersom solen låg på, men det fanns fläkt på båda våningarna. Kommer sakna den lilla byn, närheten till naturen och havet och de små lokala affärerna där det mesta kunde hittas.

Mango house was just perfect for our stay in Unawatuna. We felt very welcome from the beginning. The team was amazing and made our stay very special. Manoj was very good with communication and answered our questions/requests asap. The villa was very spacious, airy and very well maintained. We enjoyed our morning coffees in the upper veranda and breakfast was excellent with variable menu. I would also recommend to order lunch from the team; it was an unique experience. Beds were comfortable and nice showers with plenty of hot water. The location is a bit uphill, but nothing we couldn't manage. I would love stay here again some day.

We had an amazing stay at TheBlues. Thank-you Janaka for making us feel so welcome and great communication throughout out stay, and to the lovely, friendly housemaids Nishani and Anousha who took care of us and cooked lovely meals whenever we wanted. The house is great, it's like staying in the jungle with monkeys jumping around in the trees whilst we enioyed the large pool. And the beautiful beach with turtles is very close-by, as are shops and cafes. Thoroughly recommend this beautiful property and Janaka as a host.

Merveilleux séjour en famille !! La villa est exceptionnelle, la situation est parfaite, a proximité de restaurants et dans le quartier résidentiel de Mahdia a Mirissa ( a mon avis, le meilleur endroit pour séjourner). La présence d'Indika durant le séjour rend le séjour mémorable. extrêmement gentil, attentionné et discret il lui tient a cœur que les voyageurs puissent passer un séjour d'exception. Grâce a ces conseils et son aide durant le séjour nous avons pu nous relaxer et profiter au maximum de nos vacances en famille. Merci encore Indika !! Bella et Gaston les deux chiens de la maison sont également très discrets et sympathiques. Bref, Tout était parfait

Es war wunderschön, noch viel besser als beschrieben! Die Villa war bei unserer Ankunft im makellosem Zustand und wir wurden sehr freundlich durch Sunethra und Pamoda empfangen, die sich jederzeit um alles kümmern und viele Tipps geben können. Die Villa entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung und es ist in Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Es gibt einen 24 Stunden Security-Service der das Grundstück und die Einfahrt bewacht. Dadurch ist die Privatsphäre leider nicht zu 100% gegeben. Die Villa liegt schön ruhig in einer Wohngegend, direkt am Meer, ist aber nur ein paar Tuk-Tuk Minuten von Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (inklusive Wine Store) und allem was man braucht entfernt. Wir hatten eine wirkliche traumhafte Zeit in der Villa und haben jede Sekunde mehr als genossen. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen. Vielen Dank noch einmal für alles... Leider wird momentan gegenüber wohl ein Hotel errichtet.

With Sunil as host we always felt safe and relaxed in the house. We had service from the staff 24/7 if we wanted. The breakfast was amazing and Sunil listened to our requests. We never left the breakfast hungry 😋. He fixed us breakfast boxes even when we left as early as 04:00 in the morning. Sunil has a background as travel guide and can help you on site with local arrangements. Even though the ocean is quite wild the beach had few people and you felt sometimes that you were alone on the beach. You can’t lay on your back and float around because of the wave’s that never ends. If you want that you need to take a 200 meter walk on the beach or a tuktuk 5 minutes to a big calm beach, Unawatuna.

This is a truly unique home in a fantastic location with breathtaking views of the ocean. The design of the house is exquisite, crafted with great taste, style, and a soul of its own. Nissanka and Damith are incredibly hospitable, always ready to assist, guide, and organize anything for their guests. Their cooking is exceptional! We had an amazing time here. Colleen, thank you so much for such a wonderful home and outstanding organization!

Ett fantastiskt ställe. Personalstaben var helt otroliga. De ordnade med mat, städning och höll trädgården fin. Vi levde i lyx och blev så bortskämda med all fin service. Påfåglar i trädgården förgyller. Ett väldigt rofyllt och tryggt boende.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Lace House. La maison et le cadre sont incroyables. Mon fils, surfeur aguerri s’est régalé avec le spot de surf au pied de la maison. Propreté gentillesse et discrétion du cuisinier et de ses assistants. Cuisine excellente et raffinée . Toujours disponibles pour nous rendre service . En bref un super séjour et un service irréprochable

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der White House Lodge sehr genossen. Wir haben uns schnell wie zuhause gefühlt in der grosszügigen Wohnung. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die schöne grosse Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Janaka und seine Familie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben interessante Gespräche geführt. Unsere beiden gleich alten Söhne haben sich angefreundet, vielleicht eine Freundschaft fürs Leben? Das Internet funktioniert sehr gut, perfekt um zwischendurch zu arbeiten. Janaka hat unsere Ferien mit Tipps für Ausflüge bereichert. Sewwandi hat sehr lecker für uns gekocht, vielen Dank dafür! Preis-Leistung ist top! Wir kommen wieder.

Es war alles super! Eine richtig tolle, moderne Wohnung. Wir haben die letzten Tage unserer Reise eigentlich nur am Pool verbracht und sind nur zum Essen rausgegangen. Alles auch wirklich sehr sauber. Das einzige zur Lage ist, dass die Wohnung zwischen Gleisen und ner Straße liegt. Es ist also laut. Das war uns nicht bewusst. Man gewöhnt sich aber immer an alles. Würden wiederkommen!

Ich hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt bei Sujantha. Das Zimmer hat alles, was man braucht (auch Klimaanlage). Die Lage ist perfekt, man ist in wenigen Minuten am Strand. Sujantha war äußerst freundlich und hat mich bei allem unterstützt. Klare Empfehlung!

The apartment was both beautiful and cozy, with a complete style and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect - quiet, yet close to restaurants and attractions. It was also good value for money, especially considering the standard and facilities included. All in all, a great place that we would definitely recommend!

We have stayed with friends in this villa for 9 days. It was great time, because It felt like we were at home. Suranga and his wife, every morning made for us traditional tea, and treated us to traditional dishes. Everything was great. The villa is clean and nice, we didn't want to leave this wonderful place.

Great stay and great place. We ended up extending our stay. It was value for the price paid.

We have loved our stay here! The view was beautiful, and the area is very peaceful. We enjoyed some amazing sunrises—partly because there were no curtains! We were planning to wake up early anyway, but if you’d like to sleep in, keep this in mind (maybe bring an eye mask with you). The hosts were responsive and very helpful. Would definitely consider to come here again :)
