I would recommend. The owner being very supportive during the check-in process also invited people to take our luggage for us. Rooms are clean and I would say a great experience overall. Great location though not on the main road but you got monkeys, lake view and tranquility. Walkable distance to great restaurants.

Un véritable havre de paix ! Quelle découverte exceptionnelle ! Cette villa est un véritable coin de paradis que nous avons eu la chance de découvrir pendant deux jours. La piscine à débordement offre une vue à couper le souffle sur la nature environnante - un spectacle permanent où oiseaux et singes paons viennent vous saluer. Les petits déjeuners, savourés depuis la cuisine ouverte avec sa vue imprenable sur les champs, étaient tout simplement délicieux. L'atmosphère paisible qui règne dans cette propriété permet une déconnexion totale du quotidien. Un mot également sur les propriétaires dont la gentillesse et l'attention ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Sans hésitation, c'est l'une des meilleures villas que nous ayons jamais louées. Ce fut un véritable coup de cœur et nous reviendrons certainement. Merci infiniment pour ces deux jours qui resteront gravés dans nos mémoires.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The villa is just amazing! And so is the front/back yard. You get into the house, and it just fees right. The place is very clean, everything is literally new. A manager welcomed us. He was super friendly and spoke to the point. And after that nobody bothered us. Nobody came to check on us. We just asked how to take out the trash and did it on our own. This is what privacy is all about. The internet speed is 150+ Mbps which is really enough. Thanveer hooked me up with a local bike rental company, and they provided us with a few cool bikes for a reasonable price. Any question? The response would always be prompt and on point. This place is one of those rare cases when the actual reality exceeds your expectations! My family is super grateful for such a warm stay as we happened to be the very first guests!

My husband and I accidentally double booked Kasun’s place due to a server error. We only realised this happened when we were checking in. Kasun understood when we explained the situation and provided partial refund, and he mediated with Airbnb for the remaining refund. The property itself was in a beautiful location, Would recommend to those who likes nature and wants a relaxing and a private time. Also has a pool with a great view. The staffs were lovely; welcomed us with a drink and helped carry our luggage to our room. They have a restaurant in the same premises and also did room service when we requested. Smaller vehicles are ok, big vehicles are not recommended as the pathway to the BnB is quite narrow. All in all good stay.

Charath and his team were excellent hosts. The house was as impressive as the photos suggested, the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly, and happy to cater to any sudden changes we had in timings or requirements. Highly recommended.

I wish I could give this place 10,000 stars! We celebrated my husband's 30th birthday here, and it exceeded all expectations. The hosts went above and beyond, sourcing a special desert - blueberry cheesecake - because it's his favorite. They also helped with party supplies, making us feel like family. The staff is warm and attentive while providing perfect privacy. The location is ideal— on a quiet beach, close to great restaurants, a popular Saturday-night dance spot, grocery store, and ATM. The team arranged tuktuks to Mirissa for whale watching and always helped with last-minute requests. The chef is outstanding—best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The design of the property is impeccable—natural lighting, high-end finishes, and a relaxing atmosphere. I can't recommend this place enough. It’s a rare gem, and I’d return in a heartbeat! Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans cette villa magnifique. La maison est neuve et elle était toujours propre et rangé par Rohana Rohana est vraiment très gentil, discret, et très serviable et en plus il fait des supers bons petits plats. Nous étions triste de le quitter.. La piscine était chaude et agréable. Tout était parfait. Je recommande cette villa +++

The villa, garden and pool are simply dreamy – we honestly didn’t want to leave. It’s perfect for two couples traveling together, but we enjoyed every bit of it as a duo too. We were warmly welcomed by Anoma and her husband. Anoma is absolutely lovely – she comes by daily to clean, does laundry if needed, and is always happy to help. The fridge was fully stocked when we arrived – such a thoughtful touch! We also booked a massage directly at the villa, which was as relaxing as the setting itself. Just a small note: there seems to be a bit of a local tuk-tuk rivalry in the area – and yes, even the friendly driver next door is part of it. A bit annoying… Naturally, this wasn’t the fault of Kalava Villa – it’s just worth mentioning. Still, the overall experience was pure paradise. Highly recommended! And we want to come back!

I stayed here with my partner for a week and we had the most amazing time. Dinesh is a wonderful host and we enjoyed our conversations with him very much. He will go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. There are a few tuk tuk drivers that Dinesh knows and can arrange for you at the local rate. This is a great touch and we enjoyed our trips with Anura the driver very much!! The accommodation itself is great and you will see a variety of wildlife. We saw mongooses, monkeys, iguanas and loads more! Would just recommend to bring a anorak/waterproof jacket as there is the occasional shower but this will not impact your stay.
