Ahangama : locations de maisons de vacances

Fantastiskt hus och natur med mycket vilda djur på stor mark. (påfåglar, fladdermöss) Hundarna är ett problem för mig som är hundrädd vilket drar ner upplevelsen något då de både skäller på natten och strövar runt poolen på dagarna. (notera: De är snälla) Servicen och personalen på plats va hjälpsamma och snälla. Vi älskade kvällsbad i poolen, en fin promenad ner till stranden och ett avlägset privat boende med autentisk känsla. AC på rummet är ett måste, fint att det fanns. Vi älskade Polhena och matlagningskursen i Sambol Garden.

With Sunil as host we always felt safe and relaxed in the house. We had service from the staff 24/7 if we wanted. The breakfast was amazing and Sunil listened to our requests. We never left the breakfast hungry 😋. He fixed us breakfast boxes even when we left as early as 04:00 in the morning. Sunil has a background as travel guide and can help you on site with local arrangements. Even though the ocean is quite wild the beach had few people and you felt sometimes that you were alone on the beach. You can’t lay on your back and float around because of the wave’s that never ends. If you want that you need to take a 200 meter walk on the beach or a tuktuk 5 minutes to a big calm beach, Unawatuna.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der einzigartigen Unterkunft von Vincent! Die Unterkunft war sogar noch schöner auf den Bildern und der Pool war das Highlight. Wir haben alle Möglichkeiten genutzt , zb die Massage nebenan und auch das Frühstück und Abendessen. Alles war spitze! Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder :)

We have had a fantastic week here at Cococabana, with a spacious and well-equipped house, a park-like garden and a large and elegant swimming pool. In addition, the hosts Anne-Marie and Daniel are very positive and attentive, along with their pleasant staff. The dogs that live here are friendly and contribute to a great environment. When we arrived, we received a good overview of all the practicalities, and were met with a clean and delicate house, with fresh fruit and food in the fridge. We have been traveling around Sri Lanka for over two months, and this is without a doubt the most beautiful place we have stayed in. The property is located undisturbed right by the sea, but still only a nice walk or tuktuk ride to beaches, shops and restaurants. Here we have experienced everything we could wish for. We would be happy to return on a later occasion.

Trop cher pour ce que c’est par rapport à ce qui se fait au Sri Lanka, mais en dehors du prix c’est un logement agréable proche de la plage, avec une belle piscine.

Wir hatten einen wirklich wundervollen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft ist so viel schöner, als auf den Bildern und die Lage ist einfach toll. Man hat Blick auf die Reisfelder und die verschiedenen Tiere, die dort leben. Die Villa ist so bedacht an die Umgebung angepasst gebaut, dass man mit den Tieren gemeinsam dort lebt. Im Außen- Badezimmer hat sogar ein Vogel seine Eier in einem Nest gebrütet- einfach toll! Wir haben und sehr wohl und sehr umsorgt gefühlt, Charith der Haushälter hat sich toll um uns gekümmert und seine Kochkünste sind phänomenal. Er hat uns auf Anfrage Abendessen gekocht& es war das beste Essen, dass wir in der gesamten Urlaubszeit in Sri Lanka hatten. Das Frühstück war auch himmlisch. Tagsüber- nachmittags /abends wird die Villa zusätzlich noch von einem anderen Angestellten dort überwacht, sodass wir nicht jedes mal alle Türen abschließen mussten und ganz sorglos Ausflüge machen konnten. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!

We had such a lovely and tranquil stay! The home was comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and the big glass windows are divine to enjoy at any time of day but especially at sunset as you can see the sun slowly setting behind the lush trees. We highly recommend arranging a private yoga lesson from Melanie, she was very experienced and the session felt really personalised, it was such a treat in such a beautiful environment. The home is really close proximity to the beach and the staff on site were friendly and helpful.

Wir hatten wirklich eine wundervolle Zeit in der Villa! Die Fotos werden der Realität hier nicht gerecht und es sieht wirklich noch viel schöner aus! Alles war toll und der Pool ist ein absolutes Highlight. Alle sind super nett und herzlich. Beim nächsten mal werden wir hier sicher wieder vorbeikommen. Vielen Dank und bis bald Benni ☺️

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der White House Lodge sehr genossen. Wir haben uns schnell wie zuhause gefühlt in der grosszügigen Wohnung. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die schöne grosse Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Janaka und seine Familie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben interessante Gespräche geführt. Unsere beiden gleich alten Söhne haben sich angefreundet, vielleicht eine Freundschaft fürs Leben? Das Internet funktioniert sehr gut, perfekt um zwischendurch zu arbeiten. Janaka hat unsere Ferien mit Tipps für Ausflüge bereichert. Sewwandi hat sehr lecker für uns gekocht, vielen Dank dafür! Preis-Leistung ist top! Wir kommen wieder.

We stayed for two nights whilst travelling around Sri Lanka and this couldn’t have been a more perfect location. Right in the middle of the fort, was so nice to be able to just pop back and forth. The home itself is so lovely, comfortable and clean. Great cool escape from the heat outside. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in Kumbalgama und haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Kalsara und seine Eltern waren jederzeit erreichbar und halfen gerne mit Tipps. Sie haben sogar einmal für uns gekocht, sodass wir uns sehr heimische gefühlt haben. Lediglich der Lärm von der Straße ist ein kleiner Wermutstopfen, wofür jedoch der Gastgeber nichts kann.

Josephine was a great host along with her team that provided a superb service. Would recommend this beautiful villa, super comfy beds, massive communal space for relaxing in, and walkable distance to amenities such as tasty restaurants and spas!

Excellent stay at Piyals place! His family were warm and welcoming, offering us treats on NYE and Piyals’ father kindly drove us to our next location. The space is cool with the aircon and clean with everything you might need, and is a short walk to the beach! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

This home, host and his family was our best thing in Weligama! Close to very calm and pretty beach, close to markets, centre, but more calm, no noises in the night, no smokes near..We stayed there for almost month and we were sad to leave. The host is super friendly, super helpful with every little thing. The best experience, better than we expected. We already miss this place and we know that we will come back next year! Would reccomend 100% to everyone!! ❤️ With all the love!

Lovely hosts who were helpful throughout & greeted us, showing us around the property! Such a huge space with lots of useful amenities :) A very beautiful villa inside and outside in the private garden.. Was great that 3 of the bedrooms had A/C & the kitchen was fully equipped. Surrounding area was great and there was lots of points of interest within walking distance. Once again such lovely hosts and we will look forward to staying again as we felt right at home! Дом находится в джунглях, на холме, в 800 м от прекрасного пляжа. Дорога до пляжа не тяжелая, может только до дома пешком показаться трудноватой, но для нас это не было проблемой. К тому же в случае сильного ливня, что в Шри является нормой в независимости от сезона, вода не затапливает дом - одно из главных преимуществ дома на холме. В доме есть все необходимое: 3 спальни, 3 кровати, ванная комната с горячей водой (на улице есть летний душ) на кухне газовые конфорки, холодильник, большой обеденный стол. Везде есть вентиляторы, а в одной из спален - кондиционер. Очень понравился сад - большой и утопает в растительности. Хозяева очень гостеприимные и добрые люди. Организовали нам поездку в Эллу. По приезду приготовили очень вкусный ужин. Мы обязательно сюда еще вернемся. Хозяевам желаю удачи и успеха во всем. Спасибо за чудесный дом, отдых и доброе отношение. До новых встреч.

We've spent fantastic time at Aravinda's villa. It was exactly what we were looking for - big villa with several bedroom, big kitchen and dining room and some place outside of the house where kids could play during the day. The house and kitchen is fully equipped, you will wind all what you need. The location is great - only 5-10 minutes of walk from the Polhena beach - cozy little beach that feels especially great if you are travelling with kids. There are plenty of local shops nearby so you almost don't need to go to supermarket, you will find everything what you need. Aravinda is a great host. He and his family were very welcoming and kind to us during our stay. They were always ready to help us with our numerous requests and questions.

The place was amazing, so sad I only booked it for a night. I'm definitely seeking this place out next time I'm back! Muhammed was so flexible and kind with checking in and introducing the place! The place was exactly as described and the ammenities went above and beyond. We managed to get local produce and cook in peace as the kitchen was packed with all the things needed to cook! Highly recommend.

Wirklich tolle Unterkunft! Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Sehr sauber!

wonderful colonial villa in quiet neighborhood. there as a bit of confusion at check in but that was sorted out easily . Nice staff and responsive manager , who recommended us to go to a very nice beach side restaurant " la tartaruga" in Unawatuna! highly reccommended

Lovely base for a family - so handy with a highchair, cot and toys! Anna was easy to communicate with and the place was as described. There were restaurants nearby. Only slight thing was it’s only fans not air con, so it was quite warm in the days but fine at night

Fahiriya was a lovely host! He was always available whenever we needed advice or any supplies personally delivered from the local market. The property is very private with a small garden and lockable gate. House is spacious and kitchen was well equipped to allow us to cook at home. A small Cargills supermarket is 5 minutes walk away as well as a number of friendly food vendors selling seasonal fruit or local foods. Dewata Beach was also 5 minutes away walking. Great spot for our kids as the water was relatively shallow and waves not too big. Heaps of options for surf lessons/board hire if that's also your thing. There was also a great locally run restaurant called Madeena Beach Hotel which we frequented a number of times. Don't be put off by the appearance as it's excellent food without the tourist price. About 15min tuk tuk back into Galle Fort or the other direction to Unawatuna Beach. Overall a nice quiet spot which was perfect for our family getaway.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend of adventuring!
