Ole Kristian was an incredible host. He was extremely responsive, sent me clear instructions for the cottage and was very accommodating for everything we needed. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured. Beds were comfortable, the space was cozy and we had everything we needed to cook. Jacuzzi is easy to use and the views were gorgeous!! Don’t hesitate to book this getaway for yourself. You’ll be so happy you did. Would definitely go back the next time I’m craving a peaceful getaway. Thank you so much Ole Kristian! :)

Me and my partner stayed here for a weekend escape and it did not disappoint, Øyvind was a great host. Very responsive to any quires we had. The cabin was cosy and warm and had everything we need. Would 100% be returning, Such a beautiful country and a beautiful Cabin.

The cabin was in a beautiful location, with incredible views over the water. Everything in the cabin was easy to find and use. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, so you can explore Holmsbu and nearby towns. When we had to message, both Ingunn and Hilde were very quick to respond. We booked the hot tub for our final night too, which I would definitely recommend. The locals are very friendly and helpful. And it was beautiful to see some snow too

Fra starten blev vi taget rigtig godt i mod. Tomasz stod klar til at tage i mod os da vi kom, så vi var i rigtig trygge hænder. Han gennemgik lige faciliteterne med os, og alt var rigtig fint! Vi har haft et helt perfekt ophold hos Tomasz, og vores tur kunne ikke ha været bedre! Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage!

Veldig fin hytte, god plass ute og veldig hjelpsom og hyggelig vert. Anbefales!

An amazing stay! The most beautiful, peaceful location just close enough to the city if you want to venture out but me and my partner were very happy to stay in and appreciate the coziness of the cabin. It felt like staying at home with all the amenities available to you. Would definitely stay again

The house is great, peaceful and the view on Fjord is amazing ! We spent a wonderful Christmas in the cosy and so clean house. Jacuzzi is so cool too during winter time. Anne-Marthe and Paul are reactive and warm hosts. They provide you with all the necessary informations to enjoy your stay and the house has everything to be confortable. Thank you for your kind welcome ! We recommand for sure !

We (family of 4) stayed at the cabin for a weekend in October. The cabin is well equiped and it has a great view over the lake. We used the rowing boat, the Weber grill and the fire pan (bålpanne) to heat hot dogs and marshmallows. It was fun for the kids :) There’s no shower inside, which is fine for a weekend.

Hadde 3 netter på denne koselige hytta. Passet veldig godt for 1 voksen med 2 barn og hund. Vi hadde det vi trengte til matlaging og grilling. Koselig uteplass med morgensol og stor gressplen. Området er utrolig idyllisk og vertskapet var vennlige og imøtekommende Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely cabin in the woods, highlight of our trip! It is an amazing feeling sitting inside with the wood stove on, warm and cozy!

I stayed at Sidsel's cabin for 2 nights with my family including a little child and dog. After being guided to the cabin by Sidsel -as the cabin is not directly reachable by car- and being showed around, we had an excellent stay. Despite having some rainy days, the location gives you diverse possibilities to do as hiking, swimming, canoeing or -if the weather doesn't make you want to go outside- just staying around the chimney with a view on the lake. I can highly recommend staying at Sidsels place. Also the communication with her is very easy and friendly. Looking forward to stay there again :)

Det er alltid hyggelig å komme til denne hytten. Vertene Steinar og Heidi er meget lett å komme i kontakt med. Alltid vennlige og hjelpsomme. Føler seg lett hjemme her på denne hytten. Midt i blinken for skigåing og turer i marka.

Eine fantastische Unterkunft mit herrlicher Aussicht direkt am See gelegen. Liebevoll gestaltete, saubere und sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Bequeme Betten, ein toller Kamin, die Loipe vor der Tür und auch die Möglichkeit zum Schneeschuh-Wandern. Wir waren viel auf Ski in der schönen Natur unterwegs, fuhren nach Sognsvannen zum Schlittschuhlaufen und nach Oslo-Zentrum (mit der T-Bahn von Sognsvannen), genossen abends die Sauna und sahen sogar Polarlichter. Oystein war sehr zuvorkommend und hat alle unsere Fragen sehr schnell und sehr freundlich beantwortet. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich für diese fantastische Woche und kommen gerne wieder!

Mijn vriend en ik zijn voor het eerst in Noorwegen geweest en ontzettend blij met deze accommodatie. Heerlijk rustig en prachtige omgeving. Anikken was goed bereikbaar en reageerde snel. Vooral erg behulpzaam en meedenkend, we kregen veel tips van haar. We hebben ons hier mede door de gastvriendelijkheid ontzettend thuis gevoeld. Het huisje was overigens ook schoon, gezellig en voorzien van alles wat je nodig had :)

Magnifique cabane au bord d'un lac. La cabane est spacieuse pour 4. Elle est bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Vous êtes entourés de forêts. Nous avons cueilli des champignons, péché dans le lac, nos enfants se sont baignés. L'endroit est incroyable et les hôtes très accueillant.

Super cosy cabin in a beautiful landscape. We primarily used the cabin to ski in the area. Andreas is a very friendly and reactive host. We were able to use many of the amenities and most infrastructure of the cabin. All in all, we left with a big smile and can highly recommend Andreas' cabin :)

Vi vendte glade tilbage og nød vores anden juleaften i den charmerende hytte. Her er virkelig fred og ro. Fint med nye automatiske lamper i vindfang og på toilet. Drikkevand i pumpen udenfor er super. Hytten varmes nemt og hurtigt op med brændeovnen. Fint brænde ved hytten. Køkkenet har alt, hvad du behøver. Hyggelig åben stue/køkken. Lun hems. Dyner/puder til alle og lune uldtæpper. Masser af lysestager, så man kan hygge sig i de mørke timer også. Fin opbevaring af mad i det kolde vindfang. Roligt område med smuk natur. Nemt at finde og nemt at tjekke ind. Sindre har styr på det hele. Affaldscontainere få kilometer fra hytten. Ren afslapning og forkælelses af sjælen. Nærvær og ingen forstyrrelser.

Ellen was very responsive and helpful. In fact she replied immediately to any requests and questions. Her cabin was welcoming, homely and spotlessly clean. She had added lots of thoughtful touches candles were already in the holders, the fire pit already had logs in it, there were games both inside and outside and throws to keep us cosy! The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The garden leading into the woods was absolutely beautiful and a real treat with seating in lots of areas. The view of the lake was breathtaking even in the fog and low cloud! In the garden we spotted lots of wildlife including a nuthatch on the bird table and a woodpecker in a nearby tree. Close to Oslo but we preferred to explore Hamar and Lillehamar. Highly recommended and we would love to return. Our only regret is the cabin is too far from our home to use regularly. Peaceful, welcoming, tranquil and comfortable! A perfect cabin retreat!

Heges Häuschen ist großartig, Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Die Lage - uneinsehbar, privat, wenige Zentimeter vom Wasser entfernt - ist himmlisch. Das Haus ist zwar klein, zwei Personen reichen, aber dank des riesigen Panoramafensters und der Terrasse wirkt es nicht beengt. Das Bett ist gemütlich, die Küche bestens ausgestattet, das Bad stylisch. Am schönsten ist aber dieser unfassbar tolle Blick raus in die Natur, so war es egal, ob die Sonne schien oder es regnete. Die Gegend ist angenehm ruhig und nicht überlaufen. Auch die Nähe zum Oslofjord ist toll und die Erreichbarkeit von Oslo via Bus und/oder Zug super einfach. Hege ist sehr nett und bequem erreichbar. Kurzum: eine Herzensempfehlung.

Fantastisk sted! Vi havde svært ved at finde hytten, så vi brugte 1,5 time på at finde hytten. Selve hytten og stedet er helt fantastisk og kan klart anbefales. Vi var to børn og to voksne og der var alt vi skulle bruge i hytten. Grundet årstiden hentede vi vand i søen i dunke. Det fungerede fint og var lige til, da det kunne gøres fra badebroen. Vi kan klar anbefale hytten og naturen omkring!
