It is an amazing place to stay. Spacy, well equipped, located in a peaceful area. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms well separated, the American-style living room/kitchen is large and homely. Myrra. the family cat with whom we gladly shared the flat is a very friendly cat who has never bothered us. My sons liked to caress her. We can strongly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a well-located, spacious, cozy place to stay.

This was one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had. The apartment was so welcoming and the special touches were so thoughtful and appreciated. From the gift basket to the personalized welcome sheet, we felt at home immediately. Everything was immaculate and the added convenience of the washer/dryer was wonderful after spending a week in an RV. Host was fabulous and very responsive. I cannot recommend this stay more highly. My only regret was not accounting for additional nights — we would have loved another night or two it was so relaxing and comfortable.

We loved this house! It's in a very nice neighborhood about a 5 minute walk from restaurants, shops, the city pool (!), the big church, etc. Even the Netto grocery story is walking distance. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We made it our home base for a few days and took day trips to sights and activities in the area. We couldn't have asked for more.

Ella and Mathias are such kind hosts! They answered all of my questions right away. And sended us all the infos we needed to find their place without any issues.😊 The apartment is even prettier than on the pictures and for us the highlite was definitely the bed because you climb up the stairs and when you look out the window at night you see the beautiful city lights. We really recommend this place!😊Everything was perfectly clean and the bathtub was a huge plus same as the washine maschine you have everything there to feel right at home.☺️ We would definitely come back!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Akureyri. Nous recommandons fortement cet appartement qui était plus grand que sur les photos, très propre, calme, idéalement placé et apaisant. La piscine est juste à côté de l’appartement et les transports publics (gratuits dans le périmètre de la ville) sont à proximité. Hôte très réactive et bienveillante. Nous reviendrons 😊

The house is big and there are many beds. But, indeed you need to be aware of the stairs. The place is beautiful, a very good choice for a group of friends.

Nos trois jours sont passés très vite.... Nous avions un pêcheur avec nous et jenny a été très sympa....pour lui montrer le spot...et lui a amené du matériel de peche.... Tout était super.....nous serions bien restés plus longtemps

Einstaklega huggulegt og kósý hús fyrir vinkonuhópinn. Allt til alls í eldhúsinu og tvö baðherbergi :) Þetta er í annað sinn sem við erum allar saman í húsinu og við vorum allar sammála um að þarna væri gott að vera. Staðsetningin er miðsvæðis og samskiptin við eigandann frábær.

Étape d’une nuit dans la petite maison bleue d’Herdís. Magnifiquement rénovée et décorée avec goût, on s’y sent comme chez soi, c’est très cosy et parfaitement équipé. Tout est prévu dans le moindre détail, les équipements sont grand luxe et ça change de la déco et des meubles IKEA Maison en plein centre de Sigló au calme et tout à côté d’un super musée dédié à l’histoire de ce petit village qui fut au début du 20 eme siècle un des centres les plus importants de la pêche au hareng.

We stayed at Arnórs place for a week to check the back country for touring. The house was the perfect Homebase. We loved every detail, great kitchen and everything so cozy. One of us was sick for three days and stayed 3 days on the couch. Also he loved it with a view on the mountains. We would love to come back with a little bit more snow ☺️

Nicely decorated apartment, spacious kitchen, free street parking right by the door, responsive host, good linen. Note that the washing machine and dryer are in a shared room with the apartment downstairs.

Der Aufenthalt bei Asrun war wunderschön-wir haben zu Viert übernachtet und wurden weich und gemütlich gebettet. Der Ort ist klein, aber alles Notwendige ist da. Bei der Überfahrt mit der Fähre auf die Insel haben wir sogar Wale gesehen! Der Ort strahlt Ruhe aus uns wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Küche bietet alles und wir konnten problemlos kochen! Toller Ort und super Gastgeber! 5/5 Sternen!gerne wieder!

Words cannot explain how beautiful this home and the location is! Kristin was such an amazing host and made us feel at home and safe- she was always welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of hiking and the view was so beautiful for the northern lights- which we saw. It was 5-10 min from Akureyri as well! Thank you again for such a loving space

We really liked Rosas place! The location was perfect for us. It was quiet and cozy. The apartment has everything you need and the communication with Rosa was flawless. I would definitely recommend this place. :)

If I could give more stars for location, I would. Definitely go the the public pool a short walk away. The people are so friendly and there are 2 awesome water slides (one is referred to by local kids as the toilet bowl, you'll see why in a fun way). This is a bottom floor apartment which seems very new. The apartment was quiet and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bed was comfy. The Northern lights were amazing. Probably the best place we stayed in Iceland and a good value.

It is very difficult to get someone to offer you their own house for your stay, and for one night only. Andri and his family do it. It is unbelievable. As amazing is their beautiful home. Magnificent, beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It doesn't deserve 5 points out of 5, it deserves 10 out of 5. Pity that on a trip around Iceland you have to rush to see the sites and can't enjoy the house for a few hours awake, having a drink on the beautiful terrace. Extraordinary. More than recommended. This apartment was modern and clean on a quiet street. Our family of 4 stayed here for a week, and it suit our needs perfectly. We cooked breakfast each morning at the apartment and packed lunch for sight seeing. The place is super convenient to town and we enjoyed several excellent local restaurants for dinner. Would highly recommend this accommodation!
