A wonderful farmhouse which everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed. The house has a lovely character. Inspite of it being very old, it's reasonably well maintained. We did hit a couple of issues but the host Robert/Paula were very responsive and took care of things. The whole area is total country side and allows one to completely disconnect from our urban lives. Overall, it was good and unique experience living here.

Friends work in construction business and they checked the house with a special black light!Everything is perfectly clean! This is the house i would like to rent in the future! Alvin's place is a wonderful refuge, so private and peaceful. The kitchen was great, and the whole place was so comfortable, we felt right at home. We are so grateful to Alvin for sharing his place with us! It was a bitterly cold winter's night when we stayed, so we weren't brave enough to try the hot tub, but we hope to get another try!

Had a great stay with family here. We attended snowmobile races and we needed parking for our 28’ trailer and we fit in the driveway with no issues. Beautiful old home that has been updated very nicely.

The photos do not accurately capture how pretty this place is. The home is thoughtfully and stylishly decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the screened in porch is lovely! We had a wonderful time on Loon Lake and especially enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. There are no homes directly across the lake, and there is a lot of greenery on either side of the home. So the place feels very private. We had a minor issue during our stay, but Mary communicates efficiently and the issue was resolved satisfactorily. We would definitely consider booking this place again!

Our host, Victor, went out of his way to provide us with a wonderful experience we won’t soon forget. I’ve stayed at quite a few AirBnBs, but this is really something special. We spent a long weekend snowed-in in a charming wood cabin. It was a surreal. There’s so much to explore. The cabin itself was stunning and cozy. Though off the grid, there was electricity and plenty of plugs to charge our phones and power our music speakers. There was even a small fridge. Our wood stove kept us warm in the dead of winter through heavy snow storms. The beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The outhouses were very clean. If you like dogs, you’ll be in for treat, as there a many roaming the property and they’re quite affectionate. We’ll definitely be returning and will recommend Anastasia’s Domain to all our friends!
