Wow! Große Empfehlung aus vollstem Herzen. Die Unterkunft bzw. Das ganze Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Bett ist groß und bequem mit Ausblick auf den See. Das Bad ist geräumig und sauber, die Handtücher wurden auch gewechselt und unsere Wäsche wurde auch gewaschen. Das Frühstück, welches man hinzubuchen kann, ist unglaublich lecker und mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet. Kein 0815 Brot-Käse-Wurst Frühstück, sondern Gourmetklasse. Wahnsinn! Carlos und Werner sind sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Sie gaben uns extra Tipps und Hinweise für Sehenswürdigkeiten, Routen und Restaurants. Außerdem bekamen wir Ponchos für den Regenwald und Handtücher für den Strand. Wir würden hier immer wieder und gerne übernachten.

Great place for folks who want to be off the beaten path. Really close to the Arenal Parque and Arenal 1968, as well as ATV tours. The road up the hill is a little difficult if you’re not somewhat experienced with Costa Rican roads. Once you’re up there, it has a great view of the volcano, clouds permitting. The pool looks really nice also, but we did not actually get in. Breakfast is provided and it is plenty to eat.

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at on our trip to Costa Rica! We stayed for 2 nights. We were given an amazing homemade breakfast each morning & was easy to walk to the centro for Lunch and dinners. They even have a little hike you can take for the adrenaline junkies!!😅 I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family. It was a true Costa Rica experience & trust me I am the pickiest person ever!!! Thank you to the amazing family for having me and my husband!!

George es un anfitrión increíble, desde el minuto uno me hizo sentir como en casa, ademas tuvimos la oportunidad de tener una plática muy amena, es una persona muy inteligente y con muchos conocimientos, sin duda regresaría, me llevo muchas recomendaciones locales, así como literarias y una muy buena experiencia.

Villa Alta has the most remarkable hosts and is a very spacious, clean, and inviting home! This home is in a very quiet neighborhood, and yes there are lots of dogs at all the homes, but I never heard them when I was sleeping. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the bay, you can sometimes hear the mono congos in the nearby forest when you sit on the deck, which I did often, enjoying the cool breeze or the rain falling. I would suggest you have a vehicle as it is not easy to get to a market or the nearby towns, which have some interesting history and sometimes shows. Hope you catch the local dancing demonstrations in Esparza! I will return if just even to visit with Jose and Leda, who everyone should take time to get to know! Best examples of Pura Vida!

Great place! The room is cute and comfortable. The bathroom is inside the room. There is an A/C, linens, towels, soap and shampoo. Your car is safe inside the gate, right outside your room. The common eating area has a beautiful view of a lush garden with a variety of plants and birds. We left too early for breakfast, but the hosts were so kind to have coffee, hot chocolate and homemade donuts for us. Communication was almost instant, and they were very accommodating of our odd schedule. Such a lovely place!

Marlenny and Freddie are great hosts. My daughters and I had a great time. Some might find the rooms a little small, but we weren't in Santa Elena/MonteVerde to hang out in a room (and they were priced appropriately). Marlenny communicated really well and helped book out activities in the cloud forest and their family coffee farm (if you like coffee you really should do their tour). Staff was friendly and breakfasts excellent.

Propre et tres bien tenu. La chaleur et l'acceuil dont fait preuve le personnel qui nous acceuillent a l'aéroport et vont nous mener a l'hotel en passant par le receptioniste qui fait des pieds et des mains pour aider quand on a besoin c est ce que j ai apprecier le plus a cette endroit.

Everything is as described. Checking in earlier in the day may be more convenient than later in the evening as it is a small family-owned hotel. They do include a breakfast certificate for the restaurant next door, which is a nice touch. My kids were terrified of the huge bugs in the bathroom, so be aware that it's Costa Rica and you're going to be amongst wildlife.

Amazing spot to stay in la fortuna! Right in the downtown center so very close to all restaurants and bars. The free included breakfast was delicious, and made the stay so much more worthwhile!! Also the included hot springs were such a treat, this is definitely the best bang for your buck. Would stay again any time I visit! Thank you so much for the stay :)

Ileana was very welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom are huge and very clean. Perfect accomodation close to the airport

Günstig zum Flughafen gelegen. Die Lage der Wohnung ist wieder Erwarten ruhig für die Nacht. Die Soda für das Frühstück ist in der Nähe und sehr gut.

Haus sieht aus wie beschrieben. Check in war einfach. Zimmer war klein aber fein. Frühstück war mit inbegriffen (Obst, Toast, Saft) Leider etwas laut durch den Straßenverkehr aber dafür kann ja niemand etwas.

Definitely recommend to Friends and Family. Worth the price we pay, my friends and I have a wonderful stay at Mindy’s place after spending time in a hot spring and waterfalls . 2 bedroom with 1 bathroom is private for us to use an spacious living room and dining area, And we can share a kitchen and laundry with the host Mindy and Frank . Thank you for making our trip unforgettable.

Maria Oky è una persona splendida, sono stata felice di conoscerla. Abbiamo fatto colazione insieme e tante belle chiacchiere! La casa è accogliete e comoda. Il quartiere silenzioso, ma vicino al centro per arrivarci a piedi. Sia lei che suo figlio sono stati premurosi ad aiutarmi e a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda e consiglio gli chiedessi. Grazie!!

Amazing place in a beautiful area - spectacular views all around. Plenty of shops nearby. Easy bus to San Ramon. Room feels very private, is sort of on the back of the house but still has nice mountain view, has it's own entrance up some stairs. Kitchen is very nice and nice views too. Great place to get away from the city and relax - very peaceful.

Me gustó mucho el lugar, las personas que atienden son muy amables y te dan una cálida bienvenida. El restaurante es delicioso, todo lo que preparan se ve que lo hacen con amor y la comida es muy tradicional. La habitación es bonita, tiene suficientes cobijas y tiene un balcón súper lindo que tiene vista a un jardín.

I was pleasantly impressed by the host's hospitality and responsiveness. Even though I checked out late, they still allowed me to stay a few more hours after the indicated time. They were very understanding. It's a perfect room for someone who is traveling alone on budget and actually needs a place to rest after a hike on the Arenal Volcano. it is only 5 minutes away from the center. Sweet family, awesome breakfast, very good communication, helpful and assertive, cutest dog, beautiful view, quiet area. It’s perfect for one person to retreat, if you don’t need fast wifi. You get hot food and basic groceries at the village. Busses are running to Atenas. Gabriel will help you with anything you need, they all speak very good English and like to chat.
