The outdoor space was amazing. Our kids loved the pool and backyard! Conveniently located and easy to get places.

Amazing place. We loved hanging out on the deck and watching nature throughout the day. We also used the hot tub and took a walk through the gorgeous property down to the pool area for a swim. Also made a nice salad from what we collected in the garden. Thanks for the hospitality in a very special place!

Nos encantó nuestra estadía en este Airbnb en Alajuela, Costa Rica. Desde el primer momento nos sentimos muy bien recibidos. El lugar es cómodo, limpio y tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca del aeropuerto pero en una zona tranquila, ideal para descansar. Además, el anfitrión fue increíblemente amable y atento, siempre disponible para ayudarnos con cualquier duda o recomendación. Sin duda, volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí y lo recomendamos totalmente a otros viajeros.

I could seriously go on forever about how magnificent my stay at David’s place was. The home is beautiful, the grounds are out of this world immaculate, and David is an incredibly kind and attentive man. I was a woman alone and felt very, very safe. Monterrey is a sweet, special town and has a grocery store a walk away from your front gates. I feel beyond fortunate to have had the privilege to spend time in his home and will dream of being back in perpetuity. I can’t say thank you enough! All the best :)

La maison de Jennie est spacieuse, confortable, très bien équipée. Il faut un peu marcher pour accéder à la piscine mais c est rapide et on peut voir des oiseaux magnifiques sur le chemin. La vue est à couper le souffle. Jennie est très amicale, des fruits délicieux sont à l arrivée, Javier qui nous a accueilli est très sympathique. Top !

Très bon séjour à proximité du centre-ville de La Fortuna. Ma famille et moi avons particulièrement apprécié la grandeur des chambres, parfaites pour se détendre après une journée d’exploration. La cuisine est bien équipée pour préparer ses repas sans souci, même s’il n’y a pas de micro-ondes. La piscine est un petit plus , surtout pour admirer le volcan quand le ciel se dégage. À noter : avec Waze, le trajet peut parfois être un peu complexe, mais n’hésitez pas à écrire à Jeannine — ses réponses sont rapides et pleines de bons conseils. Petit plus : si vous aimez les chiens, vous pourriez bien recevoir la visite d’un adorable compagnon. :)

For our first visit in La Fortuna, our group of 5 enjoyed this stay alot. The home is cozy and the property is beautiful. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. They were helpful with recommendations as well. We did have a rental vehicle , which i think is helpful as the home is about a 20 min walk away from the la fortuna centre. But this location is close to the rope swing which we also greatly enjoyed. Great stay and great hosts! would come back again :)

Wow! The view from Casa Khuba will stick with me for some time I hope. Perched above the canopy of the cloud forest, it became our afternoon oasis after keeping busy doing tours during the day. The home is well-equipped and worked out perfectly for me traveling solo with my 2 boys (11 & 13 years old). They stayed in the main house and I slept in the additional space which was darker and better for me as a light sleeper. Nelson, who works for Jean, met us at the driveway and helped acquaint us with the home and explain the gated entrance. You'll need a 4WD vehicle to get up the steep driveway but trust me, the views are worth it! The porch was my favorite place to hang out (with the Merlin App)and just listen to all the different birds around. We had planned to visit the Monteverde National park but Nelson suggested Reserva Curi Cancha and that was probably our favorite tour of the trip. The guide was so passionate and we saw rare hummingbirds that only visit Costa Rica for 2 weeks!

We had a fantastic stay at Leonardo’s place! He went above and beyond to make our experience comfortable. He kindly allowed us to check in early when we arrived in the city ahead of schedule. Without even asking, he brought us an infant feeding chair when he saw we had a baby, which was such a thoughtful touch. Late at night, when our laundry was finished, he even carried it back to the casa for us. His hospitality and kindness truly made a difference in our stay. Thank you so much, Leonardo! Highly recommend this place! p.s About 10 minutes away from La Fortuna but it's a beautiful drive.

Notre séjour à la Finca Los Cerros était tout simplement PARFAIT!!!! L'emplacement est exceptionnel, sans parler de la vue!!! Le logement était très propre et bien équipé! Nous recommandons à 100%, vous ne serez pas déçus!😍💯

where do i even begin??? This place was worth every penny from the view, the amenities and the hospitality from the host was A1! The host gave clear instructions from beginning to end and was UBER nice helping along the way with suggestions on restaurants and things to do around the area. 10/10 would rent again when i come back to +506

Rick and Ashley’s house is a place where you can easily feel like home. It is beautiful and well equipped. On top of that, there are birds, toucans, hummingbirds and many others all around in the garden. Don’t hesitate a minute. Special thanks to our superb guide Jhonny with whom we did a night walk. He was able to show us many frogs, vipers, snakes.. but more, he patiently looked for the tapirus for us… And we saw them sooo close. A truly magical experience.

What a fabulous place! The views were stunning and sunsets were spectacular! I really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings watching the sun come up. We took advantage of the family restaurant and had them bring breakfast right to our outdoor table one morning. It was amazing! We also brought dinner back from the family restaurant one night and watched the sunset…wow!! Highly recommend!

We stayed at Tres Volcanes for three nights with our toddlers (1 and 3), and it was one of our most memorable Airbnb experiences. What truly stood out was the warmth and generosity of our hosts. Each morning, Lucita patiently introduced our kids to the farm animals, turning every visit into an adventure. She even guided us safely to the river, giving our daughter a magical little exploration. Our son Max fell in love with Maximo, their baby goat, and when she noticed his cough, Lucita kindly shared their honey—which made a big difference. This is a place full of heart. We couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you, Lucita, for making us feel so welcomed and cared for.

Debbie's guest house was even nicer than the beautiful pictures. It was easy to find the property. The driveway is long and up hill. The dogs were friendly and a delight to have around. The cattle could be seen from a distance. There are lovely views from the patio and upstairs room. In the evening, a cool breeze came through the bedroom windows. We even saw a macaw fly by. The pool is refreshing. Debbie was a delight to talk with! She made us a delicious evening meal and served it on the guesthouse patio as the sun set. The kitchen is fulling stocked! There was even fresh eggs and vegetables for us in the frig. This house is so relaxing and welcoming. Small towns are nearby. We drove about an hour to Carara National Park and Jaco Beach. Another day we toured "La Casa del Alto Tour Rural." I highly recommend staying at Debbie's place!

That view! It’s a bumpy road getting there but worth it! Our family of four enjoyed our stay. It was so incredibly relaxing. The sunsets and the two horses really made it for us. You can relax on the front porch, have a bonfire, walk the trails, make a nice meal. A few tips - the final 4 mins up to the house are rocky. You won’t need a 4x4 in the dry season but the rocks are large so a high clearance vehicle will help. It’s 15-20 mins to get into town for a meal (and bumpy) so we brought groceries with us for the first night. Even a bag of carrots for Tornado and Jack. Also, Google maps navigated to the house really well. Silvio helped arrange a night tour with Michael Monteverde Wildlife Reserve. That was really amazing! Thanks for the awesome home, we loved it!

Location was great, very close from the La Fortuna waterfalls but about 20 mins away from the busier hotel area around Arenal. The outdoor sitting area near grill is wonderful. It is stocked with some board games which our family enjoyed playing. The open grassy area behind the house is great for bird watching. We saw a pair of macaws and many parrots and other birds. Pool is great although we didn’t use it. The air conditioning makes the rooms comfortable. There are room darkening curtains in one bedroom but sheer curtains in another. The kitchen could be better stocked- there were some sugar packets but not enough for a family to make coffee for 3 days. Some black pepper, ketchup etc. would be nice to have. They do offer room service bfast which we didn’t avail of. Bottles of water in the fridge were great to have. The Nomad mini market, coffee place was super convenient, within walking distance . Restaurant Chante Verde is also walkable, loved dinner there. Overall a great stay!

This Airbnb is a nature lover's dream. Beside the bedroom and bathroom, everything is outside! We enjoyed cooking, reading, and playing cards outside on the covered patio. There are lots of birds and lizards to see and the landscaping is beautiful. We used the pool daily, which is in a very cute area. The location is close to downtown Sarchi. Alonso was very responsive to everything we needed.

Absolutely a fantastic highlight to our trip. We loved our days with the views, outdoor kitchen, the pool and the whole place. My family has already been asking when we can come back. It’s a magical spot of heaven! Nice work in creating an experience. I also love the alarm and the gate. Made my whole family feel super safe.

Just book it, you will not be disappointed. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful setting. Photos and listing are exactly as described - clean, well-kept, has everything you need. I was so happy getting to wake up on this property each morning and enjoyed star-gazing at night. I would 100% rebook this Airbnb if I were ever visiting this area, again. Amazing location about 20 minutes from downtown La Fortuna. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to easily get into town. Gorgeous property that is serine and peaceful - with lots of birds to enjoy. Every area is gated so well which was really helpful with our kids. It allowed us to feel really safe wherever they were. The pool and amenities for the kids was also wonderful.

Excelente alojamiento, muy bien ubicado cerca de Atenas, en un lugar alto, tranquilo y fresco. Cuenta con piscina y gimnasio común, es genial! Y además Vera es una mujer muy atenta y nos cuidó muy bien. Volveremos seguro!

We stayed for one night here and really enjoyed it. It’s a small remote glamping area with a botique resort feel but also our dome felt very private. We were well welcomed and they provided an excellent additional breakfast for us. We ordered delivery from the reccomended restaurant nearby and had it delivered straight to the dome and it was delicious. In the common area they had a nice pool, hammocks, and a spot to read and watch the sunset. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and we watched the beautiful sunset from our dome and felt like we were sleeping out in nature. The mini-split AC kept us cool inside. The drive up to there was a little challenging so a 4x4 4WD is reccomended and offline Google or Waze maps. We feel like we could have easily enjoyed another day there.
