Beautiful space. We really appreciated the large open area and hammocks to relax and listen to the sounds of the forest, as well as swimming in the river. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and the shared bathrooms were very clean

We LOVED our stay at Rinconcito Lodge! It was beautiful waking up to the birds every morning and a very short walk to the pool and restaurant on site. We also booked an excursion through the lodge and loved it! We were able to zip line, and ride horseback to a waterfall then a viewpoint over the surrounding area. Just be aware that there is a long gravel road to get to the lodge, at points we were concerned that we weren’t going the right way but it was well worth it! We will definitely be back!

La villa estaba muy bien ubicada, de fácil acceso y con todo lo necesario. Todo muy limpio y con una decoracion muy bonita. La realidad mejor incluso que las fotos. Esta dentro de un complejo donde dan todo tipo de facilidades. David fue un excelente anfitrion, amable y encantador, aportandonos recomendaciones, y teniendo detalles con nosotros. En definitiva un aloja.iento y un anfitrion de 10.

We had so much fun staying on the farm! It was beautiful with all the paths and plants throughout the property. We really enjoyed the included cocoa farm tour and the food was delicious. So many great amenities and easy access to Rio Celeste for our hike. Staying here was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend and we will be staying again someday.

This place is an absolute gem! The views of the lake Arenal are fantastic and the house has a charm that the pictures don't do it justice. You have see it in person to appreciate the place. Patrick and his wife were excellent hosts, very helpful with anything we needed. The house is minutes to Nuevo Arenal, lake Arenal and lake Cote, one hour and a half from La Fortuna in one direction and from Tenorio Volcan with Rio Celeste in another direction. e Excellent location to have for a base and visit a large area. Thank you for hosting us and we will be back!

200% recommend the place and the host. The best spot in La Fortuna if you aren’t looking for high end and frills. Ask for a cabin at the rear to enjoy abundant bird life, peace & quiet plus volcano views.

Awesome place! Absolutely gorgeous property with tons of flora - so beautiful to walk through. There are howler monkeys that live in the forest behind that are super cool. Definitely something to go for if you’re looking for off the beaten path. Airbnb gives the wrong location instead go to the Santa Maria Volcano Lodge. Cabin itself was pretty simple but all I needed, the restaurant on the property was super good and had great wifi. Everyone was super friendly

An amazing location in a protected natural alcove carved out by a stream. Primarily a yoga retreat, but it was an ideal spot for windsport enthusiasts launching from Tico Wind. It's clear that Johanna searched hard to find this spot. She's spent a huge amount of effort to create the site. A friendly atmosphere with shared kitchen for gathering.

Rosa was a great host. she's very nice and accommodating! Cabin is quite spacious and beautiful! we wish we could have spent more time enjoying the pool but we arrived later than expected and had to leave quite early for an excursion. The restaurant on grounds was great. the food is excellent and the atmosphere (especially during the evening) is quite nice. The roads to the location are quite rugged and windy but that's definitely not the hosts fault!

We had a lovely stay at Ana’s place. It’s a very nice decorated open tree house - so of corse there are some animals - but it was no problem with the insect net around the bed. In the morning we walked together through the property were we met all the other animals and everything was explained to us. The breakfast was really delicious and we felt very welcomed by the family . Thank you so much for the experience!

Es war ein richtig schöner Ort! Total ruhig und entspannend. In den Bergen ist es frischer, aber die warme Dusche hilft. Auch die kuschelige Bettdecke. Ebenso das Lagerfeuer, was Cindy und Mario anmachten. Sie haben uns super viele Tipps gegeben, schnell geantwortet und lecker für uns gekocht. Das Frühstück ist inklusive und der Ausblick ist mega! Vielen Dank nochmal. Die Bilder sind hauptsächlich vom Restaurant, was direkt nebenan liegt von den beiden. Es ist leider etwas schwierig dorthin zukommen und wir hatten das Pech, dass man den Vulkan nicht besichtigen konnte. Dafür haben wir andere Tipps für die Gegend bekommen.

Mercedes was an incredibly sweet and helpful host, she made us feel right at home from the start. The place itself is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with the sounds of wildlife adding to the relaxing atmosphere. It’s about a 15-minute drive from La Fortuna, and most tours will pick you up directly from the Airbnb, making it super convenient. If you’re looking for a stress-free stay near La Fortuna, I highly recommend this place!

The place is quite nice with a beautiful view of the city. The owner is very nice and helped with all questions. The room corresponds to the photos.

Pierre y Nuria excelentes anfitriones, desde que llegamos nos dieron la bienvenida y nos explicaron absolutamente todo y se pusieron a nuestra disposición, muy amables y amigables, el recibirnos nos hizo sentirnos como en casa, el lugar era tal cual se mostraba en las fotos, súper tranquilo y lleno de mucha naturaleza, un lugar al que sin duda volveríamos a ir.

This bed and breakfast is in an amazingly beautiful location. Although we had rainy and cold weather, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting the area, and it’s quite close to Selvatura Park. The value for the room is incredible - we could only imagine the views if the weather had been good for us (see reviews about the view when the weather is clear). Lastly, ask for extra blankets if the weather is rainy/cold, as the rooms aren’t heated. As the reviews state, the banana pancakes and coffee are amazing. Beautiful place!!!

Great place to stay. Good restaurants and beautiful surroundings

Ich wurde von Adrianna ganz herzlich empfangen und habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt. Sie war super hilfsbereit und hat all meine Fragen geduldig beantwortet. Das Apartment ist gut ausgestattet – besonders die Küche hatte alles, was ich brauchte. Auch die Lage ist top: In der Nähe gibt es viele tolle Aktivitäten wie einen Nationalpark und einen wunderschönen Wasserfall, die beide sehr gut erreichbar sind. Ich hatte eine großartige Zeit und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Enjoyed surrounding, lovely cabin. Had ac. Very big shower spacious cabin. Beds were good. I would definitely include tv for the cabin with and small coffee pot. Cabin doesn’t have any appliances. They serve breakfast from 6.30-9.30 for extra charge. Nice big pool but only one sitting chair and one lounge chair. At least 6 would be nice . But over all close to town, nice view of volcano, very closed to the nice waterfall. Location is amazing! Highly recommend!
