Such a beautiful place! Our 9yr old loved waking around the well maintained garden and my husband took some great pictures of the many hummingbirds around. Monica and her family are amazing hosts. Very helpful before and during our visit. She got us set up with all tours we wanted to take. And worked with us when we had to reschedule. One of the most memorable tours was of the Cloud Forest😄. Our guide Kevin was great, knowledgeable and fun. They have lovely handcrafted items in their shop, we bought some to gift to family back in the States. Overall we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

George es un anfitrión increíble, desde el minuto uno me hizo sentir como en casa, ademas tuvimos la oportunidad de tener una plática muy amena, es una persona muy inteligente y con muchos conocimientos, sin duda regresaría, me llevo muchas recomendaciones locales, así como literarias y una muy buena experiencia.

Marielos and Phil were great hosts, and their hotel and grounds were quite amazing. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated a quiet evening swim in the pool overlooking the countryside. It was great getting to know Marielos and Phil. They were exceptionally welcoming. We did get a bit lost finding their place, but it is easy to find if you look for an overhead walking bridge extending over Route 1 just before reaching the outskirts of town (Liberia side). Their road, unmarked, is immediately after the bridge. If you come to the first marked exit to Bagaces, you have gone too far.

Steve & Patricia were excellent hosts, they made you feel at home. This was my first Airbnb experience and I was not disappointed at all. My family and I will definitely be staying here again! Thank you Steve & Patricia for welcoming us and making us feel like family instead of strangers.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the 2 nights we were in La fortuna and we had a great time!! Would highly recommend this spot for anyone hoping to spend time in La fortuna with a car. Pros: clean, all amenities are there (fridge, AC, fan, microwave, etc), super helpful and responsive host, relative privacy (you’re in your own bungalow, but you’re right next to the main house and another bungalow), beautiful view of the volcano, easy parking. Cons: bed wasn’t that comfortable (it kind of sags at the front and back), neighborhood dogs barked a lot including in the evening, the shower was lukewarm at best (but great shower pressure!! And harry warned us about this). Overall, totally worth the value and I’d definitely stay here again. Thanks harry!

Fantastic location for the local attractions and the bird life in the garden was especially amazing. Friendly and welcoming hosts we would definitely stay again!

EdenAtenas is exactly that…an Eden in Atenas. The views, the lushness of the greenery, the serenity of the environment and the brekky is the prescription one needs to rest, reset, and relax uninterrupted. It’s easy to get lost in the tranquility of it all and not leave the property. For those that may want to indulge in work, watch movies or just listen to some rhythms, the WiFi is strong so no worries. This place made my first trip to CR memorable and has me wanting more.

Nos hôtes ont été très réactifs et au petit soin pour répondre à nos attentes. J avais besoin d un oreiller plus mou et le soir même l achat était fait ! La vue de la chambre est magnifique, logement neuf comme sur le descriptif.

Achtung für Menschen über 1,80m! Unten kann man sich schnell mal den Kopf stoßen ;) Sonst gibt's absolut nichts zu beanstanden: Modern, super sauber, schnelle und einfache Kommunikation mit Jonathan.

Naturaleza y tranquilidad en una bella zona. La zona combina la experiencia de estar en un poblado rural, muy tranquilo, pero al mismo tiempo cerca de centros de población con todas las facilidades (a solo 20 minutos del centro de Puriscal). Está cerca de ríos con cataratas y pozas, a pocos kilómetros. La piscina es bella, agua refrescante y limpia. La cabaña es rústica, con una cama, baño y closet. Se descansa cómodamente, escuchando siempre sonidos de la naturaleza. Se tiene acceso a un rancho rústico que, al estilo de las tradiciones rurales pasadas, cuenta con fogón, horno de leña y paila. Está totalmente amueblado y equipado también con cocina de gas, refrigeradora y muchos utensilios de cocina. La atención y trato de los propietarios fue excelente. Fueron flexibles en horas de llegada y salida, con una muy buena comunicación. Sin duda alguna nos gustaría volver.

Any questions and extra help I needed were absolutely met with kindness and care. I didn’t speak enough Spanish to understand the bus schedules so they called them for me and we talked on the phone together as they translated. Also had an upset stomach one night and they kindly let me have some cooked rice (that’s all I wanted). Very kind people and great location.

Beautiful location and lovely rental unit! It was comfortable and unique and the host was beyond friendly and accommodating. We only stayed one night to catch our flight back home but it was an easy location with lots of nearby options for food and activities.

Le logement est très confortable. Il se situe en pleine nature et on s’y sent bien. Le lit est vraiment de bonne qualité et la cuisine bien équipée. Ce fut un agréable séjour.

What a wonderful place to stay! Very comfortable, well maintained and lovely amenities. This was the nicest AirB&B property we have stayed at. Nita and Marty were on a vacation of their own, but they were very engaged in our stay, communicating with us daily and their manager Michael attended to our every need. We highly recommend this property!
