Alajuela Province : locations de vacances dans des cabanes perchées

The location, and surrounding area is like living art. It’s so beautiful, our family really enjoyed our stay and have already started recommending it to friends!

Super petites cabanes dans la nature avec un petit ruiseau juste en dessous que l'on entend coulé la nuit avec le bruit des animaux! Genial! Le logement était extrêment propre et parfaitement adapté pour notre famille (2 adultes, 2 enfants). David nous avait même mis à disposition lit bébé pour notre plus petit. El Salto est à quelques minutes à pied pour se baigner dans la rivière. Il y a quelques restaurants accessibles à pied et sinon le centre de la Fortuna est à environ 5 minutes en voiture (c est faisable à pied mais pas éclairer donc nous le l avons pas fait avec de jeunes enfants).

The cabin was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The location was quiet and secluded, yet still just a short drive to town. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A couple of things to note: sound travels easily through the wood walls, and like any cabin in nature, some bugs can find their way in—but that’s to be expected. Also, if you’re coming from a hot area like Tamarindo, be prepared for cooler and wetter weather. We weren’t expecting such a temperature drop, so we recommend bringing pants, sweatshirts, and rain jackets. Finding the cabin was easy during the day, but it could be tricky at night. The art jaguar nearby was a great landmark to look for. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

This is a fantastic home nestled in the woods. It’s laid out so that each room projects out into the forest with large windows. There are animals and birds nearby. Four capuchin monkeys came up to the window and looked in. The location is also convenient for all Monteverde activities.

Lo pasamos muy bien, el lugar hermoso con mucha tranquilidad. La piscina teníamos solo para nosotros. 100% recomendado!

Words do not exist to even begin to explain how truly incredible Andrea’s cabins are. Such a beautiful, private and relaxing oasis. Just far enough from civilization to be able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet that is in Valle Azul but also so conveniently close to many fun attractions nearby. Such as the Arenal Volcano & hot springs. Also close to Ciudad Quesada city. We could see tucans, iguanas & so many more beautiful animals from our very own balcony. We were also able to pick our very own fruits from the trees on the property! So delicious. To top it off Andrea was such an amazing host, always attentive to our needs whatever they may be. She responded to all of our messages and/or in person questions immediately. She gave us such great advice on where to go and what to do. Always kept up with all of our needs in the cabin. She truly went above and beyond for us & we will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful time at Jimmy‘s place! The treehouse is in a great location. That’s about five minute driving into town. It feels private, but very safe. The outdoor area is wonderful, especially the bench nestled right in the trees. The house itself is very clean, looks exactly like the pictures. The air conditioning worked well as did all the other appliances. The hosts were very responsive, even when we had a late check-in. We had an awesome day and it was great value! Would definitely stay again.

OMG! Simply stunning. Beautiful modern and immaculate treehouse surrounded by nature. We saw Coatis in the garden and a sloth in forrest track which is part of the garden. We woke on the first morning and from our bed opened the electric blinds to the most stunning view. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Andreas was an excellent host and responded almost immediately every time we asked a question. A must is to visit San Lucas treetop restaurant. Book well in advance! Food is Michelin star quality and the concept is outstanding. I cannot recommend this treehouse highly enough. I only wish we had booked more than two nights. Thank you Andreas for making it a special stay.

Die perfekte Unterkunft für einen Aufenthalt in Monteverde. Das Schlafzimmer im Ecodome ist super gemütlich und gibt einem das Gefühl direkt in der Natur zu sein. Die Dachterrasse ist super um viele Tiere der Umgebung mit dem bereitgestellten Fernglas zu beobachten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Danke!

This Airbnb was perfect for my family of 4. Great location, clean and right in the rain forest. Would recommend staying here.

Nous étions 5 (2 adultes et 3 enfants) Laura a su s'adapter et ajouter un matelas pour que tout les enfants aient leur lit. Nous avons vu des Coatis sur notre balcon ainsi que des capucins. Les hamacs sont super invitants et agréables. La salle de bain est superbe et les produits de douche à disposition sont appréciés. Nous avons pu faire nos propres repas comme tout le matériel nécessaire est à notre disposition. Les matelas et la literie sont ultra confortables. On a tout aimé! Les enfants ont adoré, c'est leur casita préféré de tout le voyage! Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits.

Most beautiful view from an AirBNB that I have ever experienced! I would definitely stay here again! Monteverde is gorgeous and I could sit on that gorgeous balcony all day long ❤️

Super endroit à 5min du centre de Santa Elena en voiture. Le logement est très fonctionnel et la salle de bain est super grande. Les hôtes sont super gentils. Si vous recherchez du calme tout en étant à 5min du centre en voiture ce logement est fait pour vous.

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man hat seine Privatsphäre. Die Aussicht ist ausgezeichnet. Der Ablauf und Check-In waren einwandfrei. Das Haus sauber und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet.

I visited a lovely retreat in Costa Rica’s mountains, surrounded by untouched nature. The views—rolling hills and stunning views —are breathtaking. Wildlife is amazing. Fresh air and peace made it special. Cozy and welcoming, it’s a perfect nature escape—I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time here, and would highly recommend it. The listing is part of Sangregado Lodge, and is across the parking lot from Mistico Hanging Bridges, behind the guard gate. This allowed us to have easy access to the bridges first thing in the morning before they were crowded, and for the night tour. The only downside was that as the area gets crowded during the day, coming and going mid-day can take some time as the road gets congested. As for the room itself, the pictures do not do it justice! An entire wall is windows, which look out to a deck and beautiful hills, forest, and the Arenal volcano. We had Amazon parrots and other wildlife right outside our room - one night a mot mot even rested on our deck railing. There were screen doors, so we slept every night with the glass doors open and listened to sounds of the forest. Everything was very clean and well-kept. A special thanks to Francisco, who was so friendly and even tried to spot a rare bird for us. Thanks again!

This place was pretty cool, clean and quite. Esteban was a cool dude too, no English but his charades game was on point haha.

We have just spent three wonderful, relaxing days at Laura’s Tree House. Lots of lovely walks around the area and plenty of wildlife to see! A very nice bar/restaurant five minutes away on foot called De Lucia, well worth a visit. Laura was very responsive and friendly and even brought us Valentines wine, chocolate & flowers which was lovely & much appreciated! 🥰
