100 out of 5 stars!!! Absolutely magical and serene location. The house was perfect, bed was cozy and location was unbelievable. The view is amazing. We loved relaxing next to the river and then cozying up next to the fire. Thank you Heather for sharing this very special place with us! You went above and beyond in your communications with us. I hope to return again for some rejuvenation!

Our family had a wonderful time at Melissa’s home. The area is both stunning and peaceful. We loved observing the wildlife and exploring the charming little town. The night sky, filled with stars, was breathtaking. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated that the place is dog-friendly, which allowed us to bring our 3 fur babies along. A big thank you to Melissa for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to visiting again!

This was the perfect getaway! The home is nestled at the base of Mt. Tyndall with breathtaking views of the Wet Mountains right from the spacious deck—grilling outside while soaking in the scenery was a highlight. The property is well-marked and easy to access, just a short 7-minute drive to town, yet it feels wonderfully secluded. Inside, the home is cozy and inviting, with large windows that showcase the stunning surroundings. The living area is comfortable, with a TV, Wi-Fi, and a cell phone booster that made staying connected a breeze. The master bedroom is spacious with a comfy queen bed, and the second bedroom with twin beds is great for extra guests. The 15-acre property offers plenty of hiking opportunities, and the access to BLM land is a huge bonus for outdoor enthusiasts. The hosts provided clear instructions, and everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully prepared. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing views, this is it!

Wonderful place to stay for a couple days! Close to Great sand dunes national park and hot springs. Easy check in and cute place. Our dog also loved it!

A wonderful place that's perfectly isolated and still has all the amenities you could need. The host is very proactive and responsive. All in all it's a great value for a simple get away.

Jefferey and Ruth’s home was absolutely stunning. We are 3 friends from college who get to meet up once a year and we wanted a space where we could spend time and catch up with each other. The pictures were exactly what the home looked like and we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to spend the weekend. The space was immaculate, clean and provided the best ambiance for our little get away. We could not be happier with the home that they created. We also loved the story behind the creation of the home. We decided that we will be coming back every year to make a tradition of it. Thank you!!

Quiet, intimate location! Not too far from Samd Dunes, Gator farm and Alamosa. Great view of the sunset as well! Beautiful home we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Thanks again Andrew and Tanis!

Isaline provided good instructions to get to the property which is a bit off the beaten path. The house was a good base for our family gathering for Thanksgiving. It is spacious so people could have time together and apart. The kitchen had most every tool and utensil you could ask for in terms of preparing a meal. It's also not that far from the property to the small market and local businesses in Crestone.

Our stay at Cindy and James AirBnB was delightful. The house was just like the pictures and the views were even better. This was the perfect place to getaway for a little while and yet it is so close to the Great Sand Dunes and other outdoor adventures. Cindy was super responsive and very friendly. Cindy and James even gave our family a tour of their ranch and a visit with the animals; something our kids won’t stop talking about. Thanks for making us feel welcome and for helping create magical memories. I highly recommend this special place. We will definitely be back!

Nice clean place to stay and had everything we needed and the host was happy to help if we needed anything

Dennis’s carriage house apartment was very peaceful. I never heard a car drive by (except the neighbor pulling in and they were very quiet) The community of Baca Grande is a “Dark Sky Community” so there are no street lights or electrical poles above ground. You can see all the stars! The apartment is rustic but has everything you’ll need for a short stay. My favorite thing about the apartment was the bathtub overlooking a huge window, you can watch the sun set while taking a bath! Crestone is truly a mystical and magical place. This unit was also the most reasonable priced one I found on air b n b.

By far, the best experience on Airbnb that I’ve ever had. Not only did Dana make it feel like home he helped with every question we asked. He helped us get the fire started and was quick to respond with any concerns or questions that we had. He was the most considerate, compassionate host I have ever met. The place was absolutely spotless. He also did let us know about the local attractions. If you’re looking for a place near Sand dunes, Hot Springs and even Monarch Mountain and this is the best place by far. We need more people like Dana willing to do the absolute most for their guest. Thank you again Dana and we will be returning.

Well-equipped kitchen to cook for a group, and lovely sunny adjacent dining area, with plenty of nooks and inviting living spaces. Beautiful remote setting, very private. Just remember it’s 45 minutes from grocery or restaurant or gas. Christy is a cheerful and responsive host who is on the forefront of local regenerative agriculture practice.

Great spot - some idiosyncrasies of the location (they built the place themselves!) but we had a wonderful time there overall and the area is wonderful.

We really enjoy this place! It is very relaxing, has very comfy beds, super quiet, and the hot tub was excellent after a hard day of work and play. Charley is a really great guy who worked with us when I had made a big mistake in my booking. I can't recommend Charley or his place enough. We will definitely be back.

Yesenia’s place was the perfect little retreat while a few of us were staying in Alamosa to attend classes on campus. Some highlights were watching the sunset over the mountains in the hot tub, incredible sunrises, playing pool, hanging out in the living room and sleeping in the super comfy master bed. The only downside was that it did get pretty cold a couple times, even when the heat was cranked up and that the twin beds weren’t comfortable. However, we would absolutely stay again!

Ros was friendly and a great host and answered any questions we had within a reasonable amount of time. The property was absolutely beautiful! The accommodations were everything we hoped for plus more! My husband and I were talking about how nice it would be to live here permanently as we both enjoy being in the mountains and all it has to offer and being away from the city and crowded neighborhoods with nosey neighbors. When we arrived, we were greeted with deer laying right in the front yard! The sunsets were so beautiful to see in the evening when we were relaxing and soaking in the hot tub. Our dog also enjoyed laying on the patio and soaking up the sun. Our 5-year-old daughter loved the desk which was in a down stairs room and was extremely happy there was paper and coloring stuff that she could create her art work. We had a wonderful time escaping home and spending four nights here after getting married. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely will be coming back.

We had an amazing stay. Beautiful and peaceful - the pictures do not do it justice. Jonalyn was very attentive and responsive. The house definitely feels like a home. As a plant lover , I was impressed by the variety of her thriving plants. Bed was very comfortable with high quality linens. Well stocked kitchen. Very dog friendly with two fenced in yards and a doggie door. We would definitely book again.

Beyond fantastic! This place is a gem. It hurts to write a great review because I wish I could keep it a secret. Everything about this place screams a great time away from mundane life and recharging in nature. If you like to fly fish, there are monsters to be had in the river. The ranch dogs, Povi and RuRu kept my two little sons entertained and Glenn was more than a gracious host. This isn’t some minute by minute planned out ranch experience where you over pay for a catered trip that leaves you unfulfilled. This is a place where you can get far away from life and make time stop for yourself. It’s not the Ritz, it is freedom to experience ranch life with PRIME fishing all around you! Such a cozy oasis! Our family of four had a great time at Rebekah's place -- holed up and played games, star gazed at night in the dark sky area, sat in the hot tub and enjoyed the dark rooms for sleeping thanks to her black out curtains. We cooked and the kitchen had ample supplies and the entire experience felt off the grid and was a needed escape!
