Enjoy the sunset and have a great time with all the activities. Try out kayaking and canoeing the next morning, the host will suggest the best places and he will take care of everything. The host, Shiju is super friendly and took good care right from reaching out to the property and till the checkout.

Loved my stay here at the Little Chembuka. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to India. The room was very comfortable, the location was terrific just by the water and the food & service were fantastic. Jes and his team personally cook up 5* meals every day for you and all the ingredients are fresh. I also did the sunrise tour and food tour which were great. I got taken to some really local and non-touristy places I would never have found on my own. The reviews here really live up to the hype. If you are looking for somewhere great to stay in the backwaters this is it!

Anilal is an amazing host! We truly enjoyed our stay at his hut. He is super friendly and was always available and responsive to any requests we had. He helped us arrange various activities and prepared delicious dinners for us! Anilal also gave us a tour of his farm and treated us to a fresh coconut, just cut from one of his palms. When we visited the local temple, he came along with us and kindly showed us around and introduce us to his friends, making the experience even more special. We also had the pleasure of meeting his lovely wife and daughter and shared a great conversation with them. If you're looking for a genuine local experience, I highly recommend staying at Anilal’s place. He’ll make you feel like part of his family! We had a great stay at the accommodation. Beautiful setting, very peaceful on the waters edge. Host was able to arrange Shikara boat rides and provide guidance on water activities as well as massages. The staff on site were so accommodating and polite. The food prepared by Ajay was very good. I will recommend this place.

Wir verbrachten wunderschöne Tage in Kochi in der Unterkunft von Vineeth und konnten uns richtig entspannen. Vielen Dank für das Barbecue und den Bootsauflug in den Backwaters, es war ein wundervolles Erlebnis! Vineeth ist ein sehr proaktiver Gastgeber und kümmert sich sehr gut um seine Gäste, vielen Dank dafür!

A very well maintained property with a great host. Guests who would like to have a peaceful, relaxed holiday would love the place. It is near the town but away from its hustle & bustle. Guests who love reading books have ample cozy places to enjoy; or can spent time gazing at the canal/backwaters or go for a 'lazy walk' around the property. A canoe ride in the backwaters in the evening or early morning and kayaking during the stay will be an added highlight. Food is home cooked in traditional Kerala style and is super delicious. The host and his family are all there to take care of the Guest's needs. Overall a great homestay, super hosts & delicious home made food.

Fantastyczne miejsce! Dom przestronny i bardzo komfortowy: dwie odrębne sypialnie z łazienkami zapewniają prywatność i intymność. Do tego duży salon, gdzie można spędzać wspólny czas, a w razie potrzeby jest miejsce do spania dla dodatkowego gościa. Ale najważniejsze to piękna lokalizacja nad samą rzeką i z prywatnym tarasem oraz ogrodem! Polecam i daję 7* na 5 możliwych:). Aha, bardzo duży plus za rowery dostępne dla gości! Wprawdzie dla człowieka z Europy Kerala jest dość ciepłym miejscem, co nie kojarzy się dobrze z jeżdżeniem na rowerze, ale... to błąd, bo jest zupełnie odwrotnie: rowery są tak leciutkie i zwinne, że zwiedzanie na dwóch kółkach to czysta przyjemność! Had a wonderful stay at the Ambassador's residence. The place exceeded our expectations in every way. The views from the house and Chef Ashraf's meals were a real highlight. Would definitely book again.
