Great home, close enough to town that the comute wasn't bad and far enough out to enjoy tge lovely outdoor space.

Janet was a great host. Her chalet is only a few minutes to town, and close enough to walk or bike around like we did. We had everything we needed. I really appreciate the extra effort Janet made to welcome us and our dog. The beautiful view gives a perfect panorama of the Lynn Canal and surrounding mountains.

If you want away from the hustle and bustle. This is a great place. The house is off the grid and you need to follow the easy and complete instructions on how to do that. It’s really easy. This year has been particularly rainy and the mosquitoes were plentiful. The house has good screens and is was a very nice stay. Very helpful and approachable property owners. Would definitely recommend this place.

My group enjoyed this location and place on our trip to Girdwood. The home is spacious, clean, and has all the amenities that you need for a weekend getaway. The main bedroom with the king bed is a spacious suite. The queen room is standard in a good way and the blackout shade was wonderful. The third room with the swing bed is a bit awkward for an adult, but we made due. The hot tub is a nice addition to the experience after skiing all day. Bring sandals to walk from the house to the tub. It seats three adults comfortably. Getting around town was a learning curve for us. If you drive everywhere it's easy enough, but if you prefer to walk or ride transit it can take some time. Overall, I highly recommend this house for a ski trip.

This was a perfect home, we all felt so comfortable and cozy and had huge family meals when not out exploring. it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

Lodging in Yakutat is tough in the summer, and I needed 3 weeks. Was looking at another one of his rentals but it wasn't available. He was proactive and let me know he had another property that would work (this one). Mark went above and beyond in communication and answered all my questions. We had a surprise bonus. The rental is actually NICER than the pictures you see on Airbnb! Mark was incredibly accommodating to our needs, and we will 100% rent again if he'll have us back.

What more could anyone ask for. Great views. All the amenities that your own house would have. Plenty of room for the two of us but would easily accommodate more.

Simon's place is such a gem and Simon is a wonderful host. We love staying there and walking right up to the ski lift!

Would book again! The house fit our family of 8 with much room to spare! Furniture was super comfy (loved the TV/Rec room). The house is within walking distance of surprisingly lively downtown Girdwood and "next door" to a brewery (although you'd never know it from inside the beautiful property. There's a trailhead to a creek/waterfall down the street. Audrey had amazing recommendations and was super responsive and helpful.

We loved this cabin and had a great week of hiking and relaxing! the cabin was beautiful and comfortable, and having a fully stocked kitchen was so helpful! There's a trailhead with 4-5 different hikes that's walking distance from the cabin, and they all have breathtaking views. It's like living in a Bob Ross painting. It's peaceful and beautiful. We got groceries in the nearby town and didn't have any issues finding anything (I have celiac's so I was worried about finding gf bread, etc.). We appreciated the local recommendations, and if it hadn't been so icy we would've definitely tried out more local options. Just an FYI to other renters - the driveway is steep and got icy. My boyfriend knew to get salt and traction sand and how to drive on it, so we were fine, but as a flatlander from Texas I wouldn't have known what to do.

Very beautiful home , we were there for a wedding just 5 min away very convenient for us it is spacious lots of space the windows make for very beautiful scenery in the morning. Homer its self isn’t that far away about 25 to 30 min away depends if you stop along the way and enjoy the ocean view. Overall very nice.

We highly recommend this rental. It is clean, quiet and nicely appointed. It is the very best option for anyone who wants to spend a few days in Seward. Two standout amenities in this house: 1) The master bath steam shower is incredible. It is such a luxurious experience. Second, this might sound small but the fridge has an automatic water dispenser that refills into a pitcher. You can fill your water bottle before heading out!

An excellent stay at “Ketchum Chalet”. A great design, and a very convenient location close to Alyeska’s lifts. Matt was a wonderful host and we hope to return in the future.

We loved every minute of our stay at Julie’s Airbnb while in town for a family wedding! The space was gorgeous, clean, and exactly as pictured. The location was perfectly walkable to the ski resort, Girdwood Brewing, the Mercantile, and trails. We hope to return soon!
