Shane and Craig’s home is truly a phenomenal oasis in the middle of the redwoods. The multi-level property offers beautiful views of the surrounding forest while also offering every amenity (highly functional and well-designed kitchen, homey living space, two separate sleeping areas, hot tub and lounge chairs with views of the surrounding forest) one would need for a restful vacation. The town of Guerneville is only 5 minutes away with access to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, wine tasting rooms, and the Russian River. Highly recommend as a couples’ getaway or family/friends’ trip.

Truly lovely home. High recommend. We had a group of 3 which I feel is a perfect number given the layout. Very stylish and enjoyable to hang out in!

I had an amazing stay at chads treehouse! He is an incredible host. This was my first time using air BNB and he made this experience incredibly easy and enjoyable. He was super fast to answer when I had questions and made check in and out super easy. He is very accommodating to check in and out times. The space is super private and clean. The view is incredible from the top deck. If you are looking for a place to stay I would recommend Chads place!

A clean, well-kept home in truly surreal surroundings. Quiet, peaceful, and just perfect for my wife and me. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

We went to this home for a girls getaway and it was perfect for our needs. We loved the peaceful surroundings in the redwoods. Even with neighbors around it felt secluded in nature. With 1 bathroom, I wouldn't recommend more than about 4 adults. We didn't use the downstairs bar area or the reading nooks because it was a bit too chilly, but remaining space worked great for us. I imagine this would be a great spot in the summer months because of how cool it stays in the trees.

Our stay at Kaity’s place was great and relaxing. The cabin is beautiful and so are its surroundings. We even had a small group of deer pay us a visit one morning. She was very responsive and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We would definitely come back in the future.

Beautiful, peaceful and lovely stay. This was a fantastic place and one of the best Airbnb stays in my experience. Paulette is a friendly host and has included so many extras in her rental. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need and she has stocked the bathrooms with many extras. The location is beautiful with decks and windows that view the lake. The completely fenced back yard with the private beach really was beautiful and relaxing. We could let our dogs run free and they loved it. There are California buckeye trees there so I picked up the fruit that had dropped so my dog wouldn't chew them. There is a nice pergola on the beach so we could sit in the shade while the dogs played. Do try the Crestview walk listed in the binder. We drove to the dirt road, parked and had a really nice dog walk. We also walked the Redbud trail off of Hwy 20 which was enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is very quiet with great views. The wood stove is more than sufficient to keep the place warm just be sure to bring some kindling and some paper. There was also a nice list of suggested spots and a record player. Overal a lovely stay.

I stayed in Melinh’s lovely cabin for 2 weeks and I felt at home immediately. It felt secluded and private even though there are some neighbors. Behind the cabin is a creek with moss covered logs, ferns and wildflowers. It was so peaceful. Melinh was responsive in mere minutes whenever I needed anything. I hope to return!

The perfect retreat from the busy city! My partner and I (and our dog) loved the peace and quiet and listening to the frogs and owls as we fell asleep. The cottage was stocked with every cooking tool we needed (even a waffle maker). The location was perfect and we made trips to the redwoods, sebastopol, and bodega bay during our stay. All of the instructions Sue sent were very clear. We will definitely be back to recharge at this magic cabin again!

This is an amazing place to stay! First of all, 1/3 acre in Monte Rio, fully FENCED, and next to a CREEK, is rare. Our senior dog LOVED it! Lorri thought of everything. From the dog towel, to the instructions on how to start and operate the fire pit and grill. It was all so inviting. The house-book is a must-read. We were greeted with chocolate chip and walnut cookies which were wonderful to snack on after a nearly 4 hour drive. Sweet Creek is EXTREMELY pet friendly but you still have to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets and the basic things like dry their feet off and drape any furniture with sheets if they lay down on them. The picture board of animals who've stayed there, and the wonderful binder full of thank you notes was just so touching. We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not airbnb. We can't say enough with the character count left. Sweet Creek is a must! We will RETURN!

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

We wanted private and quiet. It was like living in the trees! We loved the fireplace! Real fire does wonders for the soul. Bed was great. Kitchen well stocked. But the creek running beside the house was a very special treat. Thank you so much!

The cabin was so lovely and cozy! The wood stove/fireplace was truly amazing, the cabin was so warm and toasty throughout the night. Laurie, Greg and Skip are all so great and accommodating. The bathrooms were always so clean, with hot water showers. The location is amazing, everything is close by: gorgeous hikes at Hendy Woods State Park, and near some amazing wineries for wine tasting. We absolutely loved our time here!

This was, without a doubt, one of the most lovely Air Bnb's I have stayed in. The tiny touches to detail in things like kitchen supplies, lighting, quality of linens made the entire experience beautiful. The house was made with love and it shows. The property around the house was a perfect mixture of rustic and artistic touches that integrated into the green and tree covered hillside. I cannot recommend highly enough for a quiet escape to the redwoods.

It was a great glamping experience in the forest of Mendocino. We stayed in the one of the newer cabins for 2 days. The room is bright and clean. The kitchen is convenient to cook food you like. The shared bathroom is clean and comfortable to take a shower. There's shared fire pit with almost unlimited firewoods. The forest is very wet so expect to spend some time to get the fire on. The outdoor shower is a must try, which is perhaps our fav part of this stay. We also met the host just before we checked out. The host is really nice. I think we will come back during summer time. The only slightly down side is the built-in heater in the room was not very powerful - You can only feel the little warm if you put your hand above it, so it might not be very impactful for the rooms temperature

Arriving late at night after a last minute booking was a challenge on dirt roads with a 2 wheel drive but the instructions were clear and worth the experience of staying in an enchantingly serene cabin/hut. This little hut located on McNab ranch, the backroads of Ukiah county, was perfectly constructed to meet ones needs: outside kitchen counter, sink, and shower, little bed and cot, a writing desk and shelves for towels and lanterns. It’s the kind of place one would use to get away to, to finish a book or do deep meditation at. The hut doesn’t have a bathroom, so be aware that you have to dispose of the bucket in the compost bin, but to anyone who’s ever roughed it or owned a dog, this isn’t even a setback. In the morning, I was awoken by a squirrel hiding its nuts on the roof, seller’s jays and quail. Shar and Lea are both kindred souls, two fairies that maintain the harmony on their sacred land.. We enjoyed the cottage as it felt homey and was very peaceful and quiet. It was rainy and chilly so the wood fireplace was nice. The bed was comfortable and had good shower pressure. Having a Keurig with Peets coffee was a wonderful thing! Everything to cook meals is available except for the oil/butter. Plenty of spices, dinnerware, pots and pans.

I stayed for a week with my dog on a writing retreat. Sarita and John’s cabin is the perfect location for reflection and solitude! The cabin itself is so pretty and well appointed with all the basic appliances and equipment for cooking, a beautiful wood fire stove, lots of windows and skylights for natural light and a gorgeous deck and surrounding land. The soaking tub upstairs was a perfect place to get cozy as I was there during cold weather and a lot of rainstorms. In addition to the beauty of the space, Sarita and John are the most generous hosts! They loaned me a blender for my morning smoothies, gave me some local lemons, and offered great advice on dog friendly hiking trails. Sarita even stopped by to show me how to set up the wood stove correctly. The location is just a short drive from downtown fort Bragg with excellent stores, restaurants, near lots of gorgeous redwood hikes and coastal bluffs. Both my dog and I loved staying here and we hope to go back for a longer visit!

Rafael and Samantha were both SO great, kind, and helpful!! They responded almost immediately to any message I sent them! The house was GREAT and so perfect for our short little getaway. We wanted to unplug, get out in nature, and chill and this house gave us exactly that! We cooked at the house the whole weekend, explored a little of downtown Guernville, drove out to the ocean and went down to the river beach in Monte Rio. I wish we could have stayed longer! I absolutely loved the decor and the outside deck with the lights. We hung out on the deck all afternoon on Satruday~
