absolutely fantastic place to stay! Even during the winter, we enjoyed the Lakeview and the mountains from the hot tub!

Great stay for a couple looking to ski at Jay Peak! The cabin was super cute and very cozy. Watching the sun set through the windows was stunning. The hot tub was very scenic and a great vibe after skiing. It’s about 10 minutes to Jay, and 3 minutes from an exceptional Asian fusion restaurant (Omakase). We’d stay there again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at the Tea house! It was snowy and cold outside (perfect for skiing!), but the place was cozy and warm. We appreciated the French press coffee that was provided- much better than having "pods". We didn't have time to explore the hot tub and the rest of the grounds, but hopefully we will get to if we stay here again!

This place was great! Remote location with a great view, cozy atmosphere and of course a hot tub! The tvs are a great addition if you want to stay in. We also got some use out of the grill! Some amenities that we didn't get to use due to the season were the lake/water activities, fire pit, and pizza oven. But these seem like they would be fun! I would recommend an AWD vehicle or very careful driving as this is on a non-paved road. Also due to the remoteness of the cabin/water pump needs the shower is not very powerful/warm. But the hot tub makes up for that with all the warmth you need!

We rented this cottage for a family ski trip. There are 3 ski resorts to choose from, but they are a little drive away (between 15-40 minutes). The cottage was very cozy and a great place to relax after spending time outside. Especially the spa and the fire place. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean. The second bedroom is a bit small when occupied by two people - this is mentioned in the listing - but no problem with kids. We can definitely recommend this place.

Moi et mes copines avons passé un week-end mémorable chez Elizabeth. Le chalet est impeccable et très bien situé, nous sommes allés faire une petite randonnée tout près dans un sentier. Il y a également plusieurs choses à faire dans les environs à quelques minutes de route. En ce qui à trait au chalet tout était parfait, c'est propre, épuré et très lumineux. Le mobilier et les lits sont très confortables. L'hôte repond rapidement lorsque nous communiquons avec elle.C'était la deuxième fois qu'on y retournait mais je crois qu'une tradition est née et que nous allons renouveler chaque année.

The place was really nice and private! Had so much fun! A little far from society, but the area makes everything worth it

Sophie keeps a very clean and very well-organized place. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We didn't realize that both bedrooms and bathrooms would be downstairs, but it made it feel like two separate places, which we didn't mind. The beds are very soft and comfy. The place is located on a street corner. It is super quiet and very rural, but not private or close to anything. There are neigbours on all sides and no curtains at all upstairs in the kitchen and living room. This means anyone going by can see you, especially at night. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of skiing. Sophie was great at communicating with us even checking in half way through our stay to make sure all was well. Thanks for a great stay, Sophie.

We had such a great family stay at The Cozy Cottage. You can tell that the home was very well built and it was extremely comfortable for our family with kids. The wood stove is awesome and heats up the whole house with plentiful wood in the basement and instructions to use the stove. The house was very clean and well appointed. We spent 2 nights there while we skied Sugarbush and the location was great for us. I would definitely recommend this home and look forward to returning next year!

This place is so wonderful! Everything is provided for your comfort. Rayna was great in communicating an issue about one of the toilet is not working and offered a full refund if that would be a problem, which it was not at all. The location is great. Easy access to the lake for swimming or kayaking (kayak/canoe is available for use). It has a nice patio for sitting while enjoying the sunset view. This makes it to the list of favorite places to stay.

Roxanne was amazing throughout my stay there. She was always responsive and willing to help and accommodate. Definitely recommend and will stay there in the future!

What a great stay! Rick and Jenna’s place was better than in the pictures. I can’t even begin to explain how much thought was put into everything, tons and tons of small details that made our stay amazing

My brother and I stayed at François’s house on the lake for two nights while we were in the area hunting. The house was exactly as I pictured it from the listing. I would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the sun porch, the outdoor fire pit and the lake front view. Overall we enjoyed our brief visit and we highly recommend this spot for a nice getaway for small groups.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au verger du Lac. C’est magnifique et confortable. Nous avons fait de belles promenades avec le chien sur la propriété. Nous avons adoré prendre le temps en bonne compagnie sur le porche.

We had a fantastic stay at in this remote getaway in the Adirondacks. The property was perfect for us and our dog, which plenty of space to explore and a cozy fireplace to come back to. The drive to Lake Placid is easy and scenic, and the host's recommendations for local spots were great. The host was also very personable and even stopped by to drop off cookies. Overall, a perfect retreat!

My wife and I absolutely loved our winter stay at Anne’s cottage. The space itself was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We arrived late, but were able to settle in and feel right at home in 10 minutes - the space had everything we needed. We loved to open windows with views of the frozen lake (early March) - so quiet and so peaceful. The space was about 35-40 minutes from Burlington, so now far for exploring the town and having dinner. It was all a wonderful experience and we plan to return in the summer.

Really enjoyed my time at the Valcour Cottages. Had beautiful sun rises over Lake Champlain and great stars at night. Really peaceful!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The views from the cabin are beautiful, and you can’t beat the location directly on the lake. The lake views from inside, the screened in porch, and the backyard were awesome. The kitchen had supplies to make breakfasts/basic meals, the space was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We used this cabin as a home base for visiting Burlington, Waterbury, and Stowe and found it easy to navigate to and from the highway to these larger cities.

Ashley's cottage provided an excellent retreat for our family during March break! The location was tranquil and the home was just as described. The large, open-plan main living area was great for lounging and we truly appreciated having a fully stocked kitchen. Including basic essentials such as salt and pepper and cooking oil made our stay that much more convenient. We would definitely rent this again!

Patti was a wonderful host- she was very proactive in making sure we got to the location easily as well as providing ideas for us to do while we were there. The place was wonderful, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful trees. I would recommend this to any leaf peepers or someone wanting a quiet Vermont getaway.

This was a beautiful stay. We really enjoyed our time here. The house was spacious and cute. Loved spending evenings near the lakefront watching the sunset. Short drive to Pointe au roche for trails.

This is a phenomenal place, incredibly private, secluded and serene. The place is exactly as described, it’s a great place to bring the family. 10/10 would recommend again and will definitely be back next time I’m in plattsburgh
