We loved our stay at Pauline’s plush, cosy and gorgeous home. It felt like home straight away and just a short walk to the shops meant we were able to enjoy the surrounds and local food. I would highly recommend Pauline’s place as it was the perfect place to relax after a day of walking Mt Buffalo. Sadly I it was too hot to have a soak in the fabulous bath with the salts provided, maybe next time!

This lovely cottage is superior accommodation and very comfortable. Jo and Howie are great hosts. They were very respectful of our privacy but were there if we needed them. We very much enjoyed everything about Berrimbillah Cottage: the peaceful bush surroundings with lovely birdlife, the amazing night skies, proximity to Beechworth, which is a charming town and the lovely drives through the countryside exploring other areas of this beautiful part of Victoria. We especially valued the fact that our dog was just as welcome as us. We stayed for more than a week but longed for more. A piece of heaven on earth! Great way to relax and unwind from the pressures of city living.

Easy self checkin. Nice touch with the coffee machine and amenities provided. Very clean. Carport to keep the car under cover. Would definately stay again. Host messaged to make sure we received instructions. Great communication. Very clean. It was definately like a home away from home!

I had the pleasure of staying at Jacks Farmhouse stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The check-in process was smooth, and Jack was incredibly responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this airbnb for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, and we would happily book again.

A mix of modern and old- nostalgic of my grandparents/aunts etc. Very spacious, fully equipped kitchen, good heating. Lots of space outside with chairs and tables, comfortable. Two different driveways to choose from, well described.

Great house with everything we needed. Perfect for our dog too with a massive backyard. Hosts were responsive and helpful.

Muskaan was kind and helpful and was responsive to address issues we face with respect to hot water.. great place to stop over on our way to Melbourne.. close to a fuel station and restaurant.

This accomodation was easy to find, close to the Main Street, quiet, spotlessly clean & had a very welcoming feel to it. A safe space outside for my dog & a handy bag of pet necessities (poo-bags, etc) if required. Nicely equipped kitchen, I found everything that I needed. I would definitely stay there again.

Ron received us in person and was only too obliged to show us around and make us feel at home. Thank you mate. The house was amazing. Its style is a fantastic example of the classic Art Deco period. Further complimented with furniture and Knick knacks of the era. The house was very homely and welcoming. We loved our stay. During which we checked out the Billson’s (now Last St) brewery (thoroughly recommend the Black Forrest Stout), The Beechworth Asylum Ghost/paranormal experience, drove to Falls Creek and spent an afternoon at Bright. Lunch at the Bright Brewery was lovely (try the porter).

A great piece of history (with modern conveniences) in a pretty, very peaceful historical town. Mervyn And Tracey provide an opportunity to experience time in a living museum...a very clean, comfortable and stunning museum! Everything has been thought of, all the extras provided go above and beyond. The home and surrounds provide the most peaceful experience. Bushland, breweries and wineries surround the area. The weather was fantastic during our stay making getting out to visit the aforementioned attractions a great experience, topped of with a cooling swim in the pools at Woolshed Falls. A great part of the country if you are looking for a very peaceful, comfortable and relaxing experience in a beautiful rural setting.

Deano was a character and not what you would expect (tattooed older guy in singlet and thongs) but was really helpful and friendly. lovely location on the hill next to the old asylum. room was large and spacious.

With views of the rolling hills on one side and view of Wodonga on the other, lit up at night time - who wouldn't want to stay here! Margaret was warming and welcome right from start to leaving. Five stars all round 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Staying at Amberesque is more than just finding a place to sleep; it's an experience in its own right. Amber curates a bespoke stay, going above and beyond to ensure guests feel truly valued while making their time in Rutherglen unique and memorable. From the thoughtful welcome cheese platter and beverage on arrival to tailored breakfasts and personalised recommendations for local gems, every detail is designed with care. I especially loved the winery suggestions and bike ride on the towns purpose built bike trails through the surroundings & vineyards. The small touches, like bath suds from local suppliers, and the history of the accom being the old bank just add to the charm. I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in the ambiance, listening to vinyl records, and savoring a glass of red in the evenings—it was pure bliss. I can't recommend Rutherglen enough as a weekend getaway destination, with Amberesque as the perfect base to make your getaway that little bit more special.

Clean, neat, spacious, and refreshing. Kristyn is very hospitable as is her partner, Shane, and their adorable pets who gave us the loveliest welcome and visited during our stay to say 'hello'. My daughter and I had such a pleasant and peaceful time. The bed and pillows and sofa and cushions were very comfortable. Kristyn provided some suggestions when we asked what attractions and restaurants to recommend. Moyhu is a small quiet town in the heart of King Valley and a short drive to some historic towns including Greta, which we learnt is the resting place of Ned Kelly. Thank you for the tasty butter and cornbread, and local jam produce, Kristyn, as well as the added treats including milk, tea/coffee, variety of cereals, and fresh oranges. Overall, we were very satisfied and could've stayed longer if we didn't have to return to the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. Thank you.

Would love to stay again. Beautiful view from the room I was in and from the shared kitchen and balcony upstairs. Five minutes from shops so easy to prepare dinner in the fairly well equipped kitchen. Really peaceful - perfect if you like the sound of cows lowing and morning mist.

From the moment we booked, Teresa’s communication was warm, kind, and incredibly efficient — we just knew we were in for a wonderful stay. She and her husband Peter were so accommodating, making our late check-in completely seamless by thoughtfully leaving the key out and allowing us to park in the driveway. The space itself was spotless and beautifully presented, with quality linen, plush towels, and every amenity we could possibly need. Thoughtful touches and little treats throughout made us feel truly looked after. We were left wanting for nothing.
