We had a large party of guests this weekend and couldnt have asked for a better Air bnb. Beautiful secluded home allowing for both privacy and feeling free of bothering any neighbors. Everything in the home was clean and working as expected. Plenty of space inside and out. Everyday there was an assortment of wildlife to watch. The pond makes for a great little swimming area especially with the mini beach but also fun to catch a couple fish. Plenty of yard space for games also. If you are going to need to stay in this area i highly recommend this spot for any time of the year, its a gettaway in the woods! James made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed for an awesome weekend.

It we a beautiful place. We would go back there. The only thing is I forgot my cooler in the freezer I text John to let him know but he never got back with me.

A lovely, dog friendly stay up north! Lots of cool art inside. Beautiful property! One of the top Airbnb stays we’ve had. We were in town for my sister’s wedding reception a few miles away at Lost Lake Woods Club, this was the closet location to the venue that allowed dogs. The place was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The bed was comfy and bedding was very nice. Dogs enjoyed space to run around off leash. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely return to Autumn & Greg’s place.

Wow! What can I say about this place? If I was going to build my own lake get-away, it would be exactly like this. So quaint and cozy. They perfect spot to get away. We were here for a wedding in Alpena and decided to try Hubbard Lake because I had heard so much about it. Being from Chicago, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind in between the festivities. My favorite was definitely sitting on the porch in the morning drinking my coffee, listening to the birds and watching the squirrels and chipmunks. So peaceful and quiet. Robin was the perfect hostess, she has the place decorated so cute, and anything you could need is there. She had a list of restaurants nearby, but we enjoyed the cottage so much, we didn't want to go out. We needed an iron for one of the shirts for the wedding, (we forgot) and texted Robin and we had one right away. How responsive was that? I would recommend this place over and over again, and hope to come back to visit soon.

We went up for the fall colors and had a very enjoyable stay. The view of the lake is beautiful during the day. Without light from nearby towns we could see shooting stars at night. The cottage was exactly as described. Cute, well stocked and very clean. Being older it does have some minor quirks, but nothing that took away from our visit. These were also communicated in the description. The home is very dog friendly. The fenced in yard is great. The fact that it's in the front of the yard means it doesn't interfere the lake view or access. The inside also has retractable gates if you wish to restrict your dog access to rooms as well. Kaitlin quickly responded to all of my questions. She also has a very thoughtful and detailed binder for local attractions in the area. There is only a Dollar Store and small food market in town, so you will need to the next town if you need more than convenience items. The pizza at Smokey's Restaurant & Tavern was really good!

Our company has stayed here every week for the last several months and have been extremely happy with the house and the hosts are amazing!!

Staying at Two Trees was the perfect fall weekend getaway for my husband, pup and I! The location was perfect to explore the Huron manistee National forest and do some hiking at the Lumberman’s memorial. We also went up to Alpena to try the breweries and the winery. We really enjoyed the Alcona brew haus in harrisville as well - they catered to my husbands allergies and had many vegetarian options for me! Their Oktoberfest was my favorite beer I tried. Our favorite part of the trip was staying at the cabin though - the beach access was amazing and we loved relaxing by the water or walking and rock hunting. The queen bed was also very comfortable and the house has all the amenities you could think of. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking to spend some time in the area, at the beach, or in the National forest!

We were looking for a peaceful retreat-like property and this filled the bill. Every morning we were greeted by colorful sunrises. Each evening we had a full view of the star-filled sky, anchored by a brilliant moon. The property is such that guests have a unobstructed full view of the lake through t the spacious glass door windows. We began our days sitting on the beach as the sun rose. Each evening we ended the day gathered around a fire which was fueled by a generous stockpile of wood provided by Mark and Company. The property has plenty of woods, enough for a mini-wilderness walk. Most everything is provided for every day needs. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc. Beds are super comfortable. We even surpised ourselves by collaborarting on assembling a jig-saw puzzle provided by the property. Thanks Mark. Great job.

This is the second time staying here. We love the house and the area. Of all the places we have stayed over the years this house offers its guests the most amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need for cooking your own meals including an impressive spice cabinet. Plenty of cookware also! Communication with the hosts was fast and easy. Great experience!!! Highly recommend staying here!!
