Alcona Township : locations de vacances

We stayed at Matthew's place for a long weekend in February and the house was nice and warm when we arrived. The house was clean, comfortable and perfect for us and our two dogs, and the fenced in backyard was ideal. We had a question when we arrived and Matthew called us immediately with an answer. We stayed in the bedroom on the main floor and the mattress was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on! We enjoyed walking to the downtown and getting dinner and drinks. Matthew was a great host, very professional...he even offered us to stay an extra day if we needed as a winter storm blew in the morning we were leaving. We would definitely stay at Matthew's again.

Cheryl was great. Home was comfortable and easy to relax in and we enjoyed the space. My kids loved the games and the neighborhood cat Felix was super friendly.

The Lake House was absolutely perfect for our busy family of five (kids ages 14, 11, and 8) plus our golden doodle! We even extended our trip one more day because we didn’t want to leave! The house had plenty of space and everything we needed and more. The property was beautiful and secluded. We spent our time drinking our coffee on the wooden swing watching the sun rise, swimming in the lake, catching frogs and crayfish, and cooking over the campfire at night. The lake is pretty shallow off the dock, so we weren’t able to fish there but we rented a boat from Dodge Marine (highly recommend) and spent a lot of time exploring the rest of Long Lake and fishing. We caught perch, the biggest blue gill I have ever seen, small mouth bass, and pike. Thank you, Nancy, for sharing your home and being a part of creating wonderful memories. It was seriously the best way to close out our summer!

Staying at Two Trees was the perfect fall weekend getaway for my husband, pup and I! The location was perfect to explore the Huron manistee National forest and do some hiking at the Lumberman’s memorial. We also went up to Alpena to try the breweries and the winery. We really enjoyed the Alcona brew haus in harrisville as well - they catered to my husbands allergies and had many vegetarian options for me! Their Oktoberfest was my favorite beer I tried. Our favorite part of the trip was staying at the cabin though - the beach access was amazing and we loved relaxing by the water or walking and rock hunting. The queen bed was also very comfortable and the house has all the amenities you could think of. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking to spend some time in the area, at the beach, or in the National forest!

Highly recommend this place. It looks just like the pictures and has all of the amenities that you would want/expect. The view is absolutely amazing and we loved the proximity to the river. We are already starting to plan our next trip.

I had a wonderful time here! So peaceful and private, great outdoor space, and the home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated! I felt right at home and was able to be comfortable quickly! Rachel was quick to respond, provided recommendations, and the pricing was perfect! Highly recommend for a family getaway, couples retreat, or even a solo mom trip (like myself)! Very clean and well kept cottage. Within distance of anything and short driving time of places to do and see. Quiet area. Clear and easy to follow instructions to find the house. Already planning our next trip to stay here.

Absolutely a beautiful cabin, there is access to a lot of golf courses and restaurants that are a short drive away. As others have mentioned there is everything that you need at the cabin.
