Enjoyed our stay very much. With a motorcycle it’s convenient to several good beaches. And the pool was great! Definitely recommend staying here if you like being in a relaxing place with a nice pool

Our stay at John's Airbnb on Cabilao Island exceeded all expectations and created memories that will last a lifetime. From the moment we arrived for my wife's 30th birthday celebration, John went above and beyond to make our experience truly special. John surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake and fresh flowers for my wife's milestone celebration - a thoughtful touch that immediately made us feel welcome and valued as guests. These personal details transformed what would have been a wonderful trip into something truly extraordinary. The accommodation itself was perfect - clean, comfortable, and ideally located to enjoy everything the island has to offer. The nearby beaches were absolutely stunning with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life that made every snorkeling session an adventure. What truly sets this Airbnb apart is John's exceptional hospitality. He was attentive without being intrusive, providing excellent service.

The description of the apartment was correct and corresponded to images on Airbnb. Christophe’s place was spotless and comfortable! Close enough to Alona beach for easy access via tricycle but far enough away that it’s quiet and peaceful. Responsive, respectful host, who willingly provided useful information regarding the area and beyond (restaurants, supermarkets, and the like). Real good value for the money, especially for a month’s stay; The pool was also clean. Internet connection was good as well.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Abraham Resort in Bohol, especially in the private villa. The spacious, clean villa provided the perfect balance of privacy and comfort. The location is great, just minutes from Alona Beach, yet still peaceful and quiet. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially with organizing transportation around the island.

If you like privacy, peace and quiet, this location has two rooms overlooking the sea and an excellent protected coral reef for experienced snorkelers, a view of the channel and Cebu. If you want Dumaguete nightlife and restaurants, its a 45 to 60 minute drive. A bit tricky to find the red gate the first time, just past the CK gas station going north from San Jose. There are lots of carendarias nearby, and a nice rooftop resto at Wuthering Heights about 5 min drive. Best enjoyed if you have a car, but local transport is cheap/abundant during the day. At this time, the highway north from Dumaguete is under construction in numerous places, and at night, many motorcycles and tricycles drive without lights -- so you really need to pay attention. There are many new fast cars, trucks and buses, but these are often blocked in single lane areas by slow moving motorcycles, tricycles and jeepneys -- so beware -- lots of illegal passing going on... Super nice host and staff.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Hosts were really accommodating letting us check in early. Cirila was really helpful during our stay and made sure everything was ok for us. She provided plenty of recommendations. Scooter rental was available which is really handy.

Jay was super helpful and very responsive. He rented bikes for us and allowed us to extend our stay when I got a cold and was feeling sick. The space is clean, I will say our room was a bit narrow compared to the other rooms (hallways were small/ kitchen was narrow) but his kitchen was fully stocked, came with a mini fridge and snacks for cheap price! I would totally stay there again. :)

This was one of the best places I stayed at while visiting the Philippines. The location is a little travel from the shopping area across the bridge but close to beaches and tourist attractions. It's like living in a little community and it's very peaceful. Lita is very welcoming and friendly and the room was excellent, modern, very clean, and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The hosts work very to make sure your stay is comfortable. We had a baby with us and they purchased a playpen for our use before we arrived. Amazing! The house is large. 4 comfortable large beds with AC in every room including the living room. The best equipped kitchen we have stayed in. Every appliance you can imagine including the elusive toaster! More spices than I have at home. All the little extras are provided. They even deliver the water so you don’t have to go get it. Very kind. Hot water that works in the shower. Laundry and food are walkable. There is a vegan restaurant across the street As I mentioned the hosts work very hard for you. They offer shuttle service for a reasonable fee. A large group could very comfortably stay here. I would stay here again for sure.

the villa was actually even better than on the photos, very beautiful and spacious. great swimming pool and garden. there is staff on site if you need any help.

Have a nice yard. The location is not too central, and the road at the door is not very good. One of the toilets is outdoor and inconvenient (privacy)，The rest can only be said to be perfect! The price is right at the same time! Of course, the only drawback may be that the landlord's reply is relatively slow! Make preparation time in advance. I don't think this is a problem!

My family and I had the most incredible and wonderful stay with Peter and Rowena! Their house, garden, and location and most importantly their wonderful hospitality and friendship made us have the most amazing time ever! The house and garden and location is magic, right next to the most amazing snorkeling with a reef right in front of their house. The house is so beautiful with all the rooms and facilities you need and the garden and pool is incredible with views over the ocean and jungle that is a dream come true. Peter and Rowena are the most amazing hosts you can imagine. We had such an incredible time with them. We had so many wonderful conversations about life, received incredible advice and ideas about all the incredible things you can see and visit in Panglao. Not to mention the most cute and incredible doggies!! We can highly highly recommend you to stay!!! kind regards Marc and Family

Just a wonderful and delightful experience staying at Imagine. All our needs were met and my expectations exceeded. Kudos to the entire family who provided us with real Filipino care. Kapwa was definitely felt from John Sofia and Archie They allowed our local family to come over and use the beautiful pool at no extra cost. Our rooms were tidied the entire 3 day stay. I wished it could have longer. It was beyond our imagination. Definitely try Just Dive cafe two buildings away. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Bohol my favorite island in the Philippines.

Amazing place in Oslob. Maria was very accommodating. The house is perfect for a group of friend travelling together. Private swimming pool and the view is gorgeous. We will be back…

Of all the disappointments I had on my vacation to Panglao, if there's one thing I can't complain about, is this place. Having a Jacuzzi ready for you to relax at evening is definitely worth it! Also the hosts are very helpful and friendly to whatever you may need.

for me, it was nice and cozy. and it is located in not-so-busy area so if you want to stay calm and peacefully, it will be a great choice here. and it is mostly quiet, but you can hear the airplane sometimes. the room was clean and cozy and the pool was clean. I love this place. plus the host (John) was great and so friendly.

Chambre incroyable pour la nuit que nous avons passé, elle est super bien équipé avec la télé, un mini frigo, de quoi faire chauffer de l’eau, le bain à remous est agréable, l’emplacement et top avec de nombreux bons restaurants autour, ainsi que la plage qui est à quelques minutes, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés

We had a great time at their apartment. We checked in at night so I just followed their pin but it led us to the wrong narrow road. However, Steve was responsive to guide us. Everything was clean and as documented in the post. The place itself is at the heart of Alona Bohol. Good value for money.
