The bungalow is a lovely place for a weekend for two! The room has a salamandra, which was super confortable and romantic by night. The night sky is out of this world. We brought our two dogs and they loved meeting horses for the first time! In general, had a great time full of privacy and totally recomend it. Very nice and flexible host.

I recommend this apartment to everyone that wants to have a genuine experience of the Alentejo countryside. It is easy to approach, the apartment was equipped with everything we needed, and the farm was simply beautiful and peaceful. Sabine and Dries are lovely hosts who made sure we had a great stay. I fell in love with Alentejo and I hope I can come back to their farm next time!

Idyllic, peaceful, beautiful. It was the perfect setting for a few days of peace over the holidays. We left feeling absolutely rejuvenated. The cabins were perfect, felt private. All the cork trees were amazing - such good vibes. The animals on the farm were all adorable. Would be a great place in summer when the pool is usable. The farm looks like a nice place for a wedding or other milestone family celebration for those who love nature. We would definitely visit again :)

Our stay at this beautifully restored cottage in the farmhouse was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. Surrounded by the lush greenery of Serra d'Aire and Candeeiros, the property offered a serene atmosphere that made it feel like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage itself was cozy and thoughtfully restored, blending traditional Portuguese charm with modern comforts. We loved the quiet, sunny environment, and the views of the surrounding rural landscape were breathtaking. It was the ideal setting to relax and recharge. The location is also convenient, being just 5 km from the Marian Sanctuary of Fatima, so you can easily explore the area while still enjoying the peace and tranquility of the countryside. Overall, this is the perfect retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a stunning natural setting. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic 5 day stay. Lynne greeted us and showed us around. A very well positioned little cottage with spectacular views lots of privacy and everything else you need. It had a little kitchen with all essentials and warmth from either Ac or the log burner made it really comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay we hope to come again sometime.

La casa está en una finca privada, la entrada de la finca está en la misma carretera por lo que si vas con un coche de ciudad, no hay problema, a penas pisas tierra. La casa tiene todo lo necesario en cuanto a menaje, juegos de mesa. Amplia chimenea y radiadores. Los anfitriones muy atentos y agradables. Si tengo que poner una pega sería el colchón, se puede mejorar. En resumen, merece mucho la pena en cuanto a relación calidad-precio.

We stayed for 4 nights at this peaceful and secluded farmhouse, visiting friends in neighbouring Castelo Branco. Rogério was there to meet us after an 8 hour drive from Southern Spain with a welcoming drink and home made pastries and he spent 45 minutes explaining about the location and its history; he really is super friendly. The house truly is a home from home filled with his treasures, games and even a keyboard. As mentioned in other reviews the dog did bark constantly but Rogerio had already flagged this and offered to move him. we used the house only as a base however and he did not unduly bother us. It was a great stay and we made full use of the wood burning fire which kept the house cosy and warm however it did smoke a bit leaving everything we owned with a memorable dour of woodsmoke. It’s great value and our friends who live in the area visited one evening and fell in love with its rustic charm, they are going to book a couple of nights for themselves in the summer.

The place was very secluded and quiet, as expected. We were very well received. When leaving, our car got stuck in the sand, but they managed to help us. Thank you again for that

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au sein de la Quinta de San Pedro. La maison est parfaite pour un groupe d’amis et avec des enfants. We had an amazing three week stay in this home. The peaceful rural setting allowed us to unwind in the warm sun while on sitting on the patio enjoying the expansive view of natural landscaping and orange groves. We appreciated all the modern conveniences available in this home include top end appliances including the dishwasher, refrigerated and washer and dryer. The owner was super responsive to all our needs and very welcoming!

Wir waren als gesamte Familie hier zu Gast und haben gemeinsam Weihnachten gefeiert. Unsere Kinder haben es geliebt durch die Orangen und Avocado Plantage zu wandern, frische Orangen vom Baum zu essen und das Reiten waren eine tolle Erfahrung. Super Haus für Kinder und Großfamilie mit Großeltern. Gepflegt und sauber. Frederico hat uns alles besorgt was wir brauchten. Wir kommen wieder!

Das Appartment von Frederico ist ein wunderbarer Platz. Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen und die Welt ein wenig hinter sich lassen. Ja, es gibt ein wenig Industrie im Blickfeld. Aber die schöne Terrasse, die Orangen-, Zitronen- und Olivenbaeume auf dem grossen Grundstueck, die tolle Aussicht und die Nähe zu Tavira und anderen wunderschönen Orten an der Algarve bieten Urlaubsfeeling pur. Das Appartment ist gemütlich und es fehlt an nichts. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Frederico ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir hatten die Privatsphaere, die wir uns gewuenscht haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Quinta Brigadeiro is a delightful place to stay. We received such a warm welcome from all the family and all the animals. Within five minutes of arrival we were feeding carrots to their donkeys and their dog. The accommodation itself is well designed, understated and uncluttered. It was lovely to be in a peaceful, rural area but with the amenities and attractions of Évora a short drive away. Thank you for sharing, we enjoyed our few days with you.

Nous venons de passer deux très bonnes semaines de vacances dans cette petite maison idéale pour deux personnes et très bien équipée. Le cadre est idyllique si l’on apprécie le calme. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, réactifs et attentionnés tout en étant très discrets. Un moyen de transport est indispensable pour atteindre le domaine. Nous vous conseillons vivement cette location.

We hadden een paar geweldige dagen in de oude molen van Salir. Een prachtige en goedverzorgde plek met mooie bloemen en veel buitenruimte. De gastsuite blijft koel op warme dagen en heeft airconditioning. Adelmo en Rui zijn fantastische en enthousiaste gastheren. We werden verwelkomd met een rondleiding. Er stond vers fruit en eieren vsn eigen terrein voor ons klaar en koude drankjes in de koelkast. Ze gaven ons tips voor activiteiten in de omgeving en goede restaurants. Onze dochter mocht helpen met het voeren van de dieren. We maakten een mooie (berg)wandeling bij Rocha da Pena en vonden verkoeling in een natuurbad in het mooie plaatsje Alte. Het strand van Quarteira ligt op 25 minuten rijden. Als het zwembad gerepareerd is verdient deze oase 6 sterren, dank jullie wel we hebben ervan genoten!

Daniel was heel behulpzaam, zeker als er een technische vraag was. Het huisje lag er paradijselijk, maar door het slechte weer hebben we niet maximaal van de mogelijkheden buiten kunnen genieten. Gelukkig kregen we van Daniel veel tips voor uitstapjes in de omgeving.

10 stars all around! From the moment we arrived, till we reluctantly had to leave. Wishing we had planned to stay longer. This gorgeous, spacious, private home is on the top of a hill, w wonderful views across the countryside. Though the hosts live on the same property, you’d never realize it, the house is that private. That said, both Armando & Andrea were always available is we had questions. The kitchen is the most well equipped rental home kitchen I’ve ever been in, nothing was missing! The living room has 2 comfy couches and lots of outdoor seating poolside. Sadly, the weather was too cold for the pool. Given that it was so cold, we gave the heating a workout, good AC/heat units in all the rooms. Beds were comfy, bedrooms had blackout screens, & good closet space to unpack. Andrea provided a lovely welcome basket with wine & lemons. This place & the hosts are absolute gems! It’s always lovely when you leave an Airbnb having made new friends. What can I say other than WOW…..this was probably one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The place looks exactly like the photos (if not better), and Marco was so amazing and kind to us. He was welcoming, attentive, and considerate. He also serves a killer breakfast - definitely exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed our time here and will 100% come back (hopefully in better weather). Thanks again for the wonderful experience, Marco!

Einfach fantastisch! Das war eindeutig eines der besten Airbnbs, das ich jemals gebucht habe. Die Gegend ist schön ruhig, sehr idyllisch gelegen. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll mit vielen kleinen Details eingerichtet - wie gemalt! 😍 Es gibt ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten vor der Unterkunft und einen wunderschönen Garten, der zum verweilen einlädt. Die Küche ist ungewöhnlich gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Obwohl wir leider sehr (!) viel später angekommen sind als vereinbart, haben die Gastgeber freundlicherweise auf uns gewartet und uns empfangen. Auf uns haben Eier von den eigenen Hühnern und eine Flasche Wein gewartet. Sollten wir einmal wieder in der Gegend sein, würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!!! Vielen lieben Dank für alles :)

Diane’s place was a perfect little 3-story renovated medieval house for our getaway. Interesting neighborhood inside the castle walls. Nice enclosed garden area for our dog. House was clean and cozy. We took a wonderful historical tour with Francisco. We were unable to dine out due to our dog but used the well equipped kitchen to cook our meals. Walking to the house was about an 8-10 minute walk on cobblestone with our bags and dog but we were told this ahead of time so we were prepared. We’ll be back again. Thanks for a great stay, Diane!

Beautiful setting, wonderful space, well-appointed kitchen and amazing communications from Tiago. He was beyond generous, always communicative, and even came to say hi! The views and setting were amazing - we had the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises, stunning walks and light. We can't wait to come back.
