We had a great stay at Silje’s place. She and her husband were great hosts. Very considerate and friendly. The house itself is in a stunning location with everything you need to feel right at home.

I had an exceptional stay at this accommodation. The location is perfect, offering stunning views, and everything you need is conveniently close by. The house owner is incredibly kind and responsive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The living room is wonderfully cozy, furnished with great taste, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. The space is also very spacious and fully equipped, providing all the comfort and enjoyment you could ask for. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the home matches the photos exactly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already considering returning for another stay in the future. Highly recommend.

Super miejsce na spokojny odpoczynek z ladnymi widokami. Dwa mieszkania w pelni spelnily nasze oczekiwania. Bylismy w grupie 10 osob. Dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Norwegii

For en plass, med en trivelig og imøtekommende vert! Jeg får ikke skrytt nok av Arild, så hyggelig, var på stedet da vi kom , viste oss omkring og forklarte hvordan ting fungerte. Svarte umiddelbart på noen spørsmål vi hadde. Denne plassen er en sann perle, badet i fjorden, tok badstue etterpå og nytet den vakre utsikten . Masse oppmerkede stier i nærområdet. Anbefaler å ta en tur hit! Kommer gjerne igjen, om vi får.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Tornes. Es war alles genau wie beschrieben und sogar besser, der Kontakt zu Rigmor war super, Check in/out flexibel. Wir fühlten uns sehr freundlich "umsorgt"

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!

My mother and I enjoyed a few days at Yael's beautiful villa and had a wonderful time. The home and amenities are exactly as described. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and Yael left clear instructions for using various amenities. The view couldn't be better! We were treated to beautiful sunsets over the water every night. There is a nice walking path at the shoreline and there is a bus that is a short walk uphill that goes into the city. There is a grocery within walking distance or bigger stores a short drive away. We highly recommend Yael's villa for couples, a small family or a solo get away. We hope to return again in the spring/summer season to see more of the area, which is stunning! Many thanks!

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!

Miejsce jest naprawdę godne polecenia! Dom zaprojektowany i wykonany z wielkim kunsztem. Naturalne materiały we wnętrzu pięknie nawiązują do widoków za oknami. Wyposażenie też bardzo gustowne. Byliśmy z zaprzyjaźnioną rodziną, mieliśmy wspólnie wyjątkowy czas. Każdy z nas wspomina ten wyjazd jako najlepszy w życiu. Poza samym domem okolica jest piękna. Podczas całego pobytu każdego dnia zwiedzaliśmy nowe miejsca. Piękny kraj, bogaty w niesamowite krajobrazy, które zabierają dech w piersi. Myślimy o ponownym pobycie. Łóżka były bardzo wygodne, pościel jak w najlepszych hotelach. Wygodny stół (w 8 osób było nam bardzo wygodnie)i dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Codziennie gotowaliśmy pyszne dania podziwiając widok gór za oknami. Niesamowite przeżycie. Siłownia dobrze wyposażona, piękne pokoje do wypoczynku. Było dużo lepiej niż się spodziewaliśmy! Kontakt z Ove był bardzo dobry, jest bardzo uprzejmym i pomocnym gospodarzem. Podpowiada najlepsze miejsca do zobaczenia. Na nic nie można narzekać!

Incredibly special home on the water. We were traveling with friends and we all agreed that it was the most wonderful Airbnb we have ever been at, and we have travelled extensively. Perfect tidy home beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and furniture, fully stocked kitchen, espresso maker. We did have an issue with the stove that Robert offered to come fix during our stay but otherwise perfect. Very remote so no restaurant nearby but grocery store about 8 minute drive. We recommend this home highly!!!

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in dit mooie huis. Goed onderhouden en geïsoleerd. Mooie buitenruimte en de hot tub was fijn! Kleine tip: leg voor de eerste dag hout neer en/ of adressen waar het hout te koop is. Uiteindelijk vonden we het na lang zoeken bij een benzinepomp in Alesund.

Na een lange reis werden we vriendelijk ontvangen met een brandend haardvuur en kaarsen. Buiten was het regenachtig. Heel sfeervol ingericht huis met meer dan genoeg ruimte voor ons en de kinderen. De jacuzzi was een heerlijke afsluiting van iedere dag. Helaas moesten we vanwege familieomstandigheden eerder naar huis. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Kristina and Ola were so helpful from start to finish. The scenery is peaceful and serene. If you’re looking for time away from it all, this is the perfect place. Would definitely recommend!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Haus von Karl Helge. Es ist besser als in der Beschreibung und auf den Bildern. Es gibt 3 vollwertige Schlafzimmer, ein Bad, eine große moderen Küche und ein tolles Wohnzimmer mit neuer Couch und gutem Fernseher. Der Außenbereich ist aber noch viel besser. Man kann sich auf 3 Terrassen verteilen, den tollen Whirlpool mit Blick auf den Fjord nutzen oder vom Steg angeln. Man ist völlig ungestört und mitten in der Natur. Karl Helge ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat uns alles im Haus gezeigt und erklärt. Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt ist der Weg mit dem Auto runter zum Haus. Wobei runter kein Problem ist. Hoch kann es ohne Allrad und bei rutschigen Bedingungen etwas schwierig werden. Der Hinweis von Karl Helge mit Frontantrieb den schwierigsten Teil rückwärts zu fahren war Gold wert und gar nicht so schwer. Sehr gerne würden wir irgendwann noch mal ein paar Tage an diesem tollen Ort verbringen!

What a fabulous stay. We were here with a group of 6, two couples and two singles, for 4 days and it was just a perfect location . Immaculate space, the hot tub was perfect after a long day hiking, and beautifully appointed. They had literally everything we could have thought of.. every piece of glassware possible, vases, all the cookware, fabulous coffee maker. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
