Beautiful place! Seems to be well taken care of. Definitely feel a peace when sitting by the lake. On negative I’d say is having the home as a dual air bnb and a residence but other than that not a single complaint!

I had the pleasure of spending two days in the beautiful “Mistletoe” yurt on the lake over New Year’s, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the Robert had gone above and beyond to exceed our expectations. The yurt was pristine, beautifully decorated for Christmas, and equipped with every amenity we could need. The pictures on the website don’t even do it justice—there’s so much more to the property and plenty to do on the lake. Everything worked flawlessly, from the huge chef’s grill to the cozy fire-place heater, in-unit AC/heat, 4-person jaccuzzi, personal fire pit, and electric blanket. Ample hot water for showers. Plenty of big, soft towels and blankets. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat out, kayaking, and even fishing. Despite the cool weather, we were perfectly comfortable and able to enjoy the outdoors. It was truly a spectacular weekend, and I can’t recommend this stay highly enough. Thank you Robert, we will be back very soon!

What a great place! The theatre room is amazing. We loved the deck over the dock. The lake this time of year (Christmas) is so serene, peaceful, and scenic. The house itself seems to have been put together by someone with a real sense for design—cosy and classy. Such attention to detail! We loved all the Christmassy decor. And every room in the house was immaculate. The house was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. If not the best Airbnb then certainly in the top three we’ve ever visited. And Colleen is an awesome host with great communication.

Beautiful place on the lake the views were incredible and loved all the decks with various views of the lake! Incredible space and loved the living room and kitchen area opening up beautiful lake views. Beds were extremely comfortable and the indoor pool area was just such an added bonus! Close to many places to eat and grocery store. I will for sure be back. Space was rented for corporate visit for a conference in Hickory at the convention center and each of us felt like we had great space and privacy. The hosts are amazing and cannot wait to come back!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at your home. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding so we did not get to enjoy the lake like we wanted too but the beautiful views each morning was just what we needed! The home was fully stocked with all the essentials you could need! Our family would definitely stay at your home again!

The house was very clean and had everything you could think of. Brent was great and worked with us on an early check in. The house is dated but was exactly what we needed.

We Enjoyed our Stay at This Airbnb it was very clean, nice location, and looked just like the photos!! The host was extremely nice and made sure he sent us all instructions needed and more!! This home is the most well stocked air BnB I’ve ever rented. From bedding, paper products, cleaning supplies lake floats and a kitchen that’s has absolutely everything you need. It was clean, comfortable beds, a gated stairway in case you want your dogs or kiddos to be contained either up or downstairs There are stairs going from the parking to the house and the backyard is very sloped so you will get a work out carting supplies to the lake. We rented a boat from the nearby Marina and boated to Copper Penny ( excellent food and service) for the day. The lake is perfect for swimming, even in the cove. Not yucky at all. Our pups loved the big fenced yard and got lots of exercise running down to the lake (there’s a gate so they can’t get directly in the water unless you want them to) and back up to the house. All my pre arrival questions were answered by the host immediately. It is an older home but everything was in working order. Very comfortable feeling in the house. Highly recommend
