We came for a soccer tournament and the place was perfect for relaxing between games! Beau was super responsive and easy to communicate with!

We chose this place to stay because of the close proximity to our family members home. The apartment was nicely decorated, clean, and very inviting. We had others staying above us, and didn’t even know they were there. The hosts promptly accommodated a last minute change with us removing two guests. We have already shared the listing with friends who will be in the area soon. Thanks for the great stay.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Comfortable stay and accommodating for people with allergies! A good amount of kitchen essentials to make food at home!

Karen’s rental was great. She was very responsive, even on Christmas Day when there was an issue with door lock. Matches pictures, clean, and beds were comfortable. Overall we were pleased with rental and the host. Definitely would stay there again.

Excellent stay! The house is equipped with everything you need and then some! So peaceful and quiet The walk down to the water is a workout but beautiful. We had an amazing stay here and will come back if we are in the area again!

The house was very cozy, and well appointed. We had everything we could need. It was just a few minute drive to Emerald Hollow Mine. Because we have young children we had to be aware of how close the house was to the road and how fast the cars drive by. Overall it was perfect place to break up a long drive down I77.

We enjoyed our stay! We had our grandkids 2 of the nights & they also loved it. We all felt at home — we were able to come & go easily as my daughter lives in Granite Falls. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We loved our Thanksgiving stay at Ollie’s Hideaway in Hickory. It provided us plenty of room to celebrate the holiday with our growing family, including an infant, toddler and child. Highlights: extremely clean - spotless bathrooms! Plenty of cookware and utensils in the kitchen available for use. Gorgeous fall views - leaves falling all around and easily viewable through large windows all around the upper floor. Lots of space!! This house is larger and more beautiful that can even be shown through the pictures. Lowlights: Unfortunately the tv in the downstairs bedroom would not work for us and the air hockey table didn’t seem to be blowing air on both ends which made it more difficult to play - neither of these are a big deal but worth the mention. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

What an amazing stay, positioned perfectly at the top of a beautiful mountain - I enjoyed some light snow, a couple days of ice glistening trees, and then beautiful bright days and sunrises all nestled in one spot. The space is open and clean with great energy. The kitchen and bathroom are both updated and very nice. The king sized bed is comfy. And the view from that loft is breathtaking. My soul was sad to leave - so I’ll be back soon!

Incredibly peaceful mtn retreat. We adore the Art of Living and Thomas’s place is set up in a modest but thoughtful way - nice seating in the loft to take in breathtaking views during day and sit under stars at night and balcony furniture for relaxing coffee time while feeling connected to nature and breathtaking views. The accommodations were nice and clean, covering the necessities without frills, but it met our needs. The sunrise views are absolutely stunning! Bring your own shower toiletries, none were provided.
