My brother and I needed a convenient place to stay to manage some family matters. This location fit the bill. Nice but not too fancy to feel at home - just what we like. Misty was responsive to messages and the place matched the listing. Very quiet neighborhood. If we are back in the area we would stay here again. Thanks Misty!

Perfect place to unplug and relax. We had a good time sitting on the dock, the scenery is magical during the day and at night. The kitchen is very sparsely stocked with a total of one knife and no frying pan. I recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to relax.

The home was well stocked with essential items. The private dock was a great place for my entire family to fish, swim and hang out. My family of 5 slept very comfortably with all the space and multiple bathrooms. I definitely would recommend this home to anyone looking for a getaway.

Our stay at this Airbnb in Alexandria, LA was absolutely fantastic, and Connie once again did not disappoint! This was our second time renting from her. The first time we rented at a different location. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family getaway. The beds were super cozy, and the space felt warm and inviting. A couple of us had not traveled in over 20 years and they loved this place so much. It was truly a home away from home. The location was perfect—close to restaurants, stores, and everything we wanted to explore. The host was amazing, providing clear communication and thoughtful touches that made our stay even better. We especially loved the peaceful neighborhood, perfect for morning and evening relaxation. We can't wait to book this place again next year! We spent Thanksgiving week here. We absolutely loved the quiet road, beautiful lake, and lots of marsh-mellows around the camp fire! Can’t wait to stay again.

David's home had everything we needed for a great stay. The beds were comfortable and the fenced in back yard was great for our pups. It is in a nice walkable neighborhood. There is plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. We spent some time touring the plantations and the beautiful Natchitoches Historic District, seeing the Sweet Magnolia movie house, St. Augustine Church and cemetery.

Loved my time here. The house was super clean, mattress was very comfortable, coffee really good, hot shower, and an awesome backyard to hang out with my dog. I really had a relaxing time here. Kenneth and Nette were fantastic hosts. Highly recommend staying here!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Suzy and Danny were overly accommodating and kind. They communicated and never hesitated or made us feel like a burden. The cabin is wonderful! It smells like Heaven and felt so warm and inviting. They have everything you could possibly need and the convenience store a few miles away in Nebo has anything else you forgot and not expensive! Including fishing supplies! We enjoyed being able to use the golf cart and the outdoor fire pit. The fish weren’t cooperating very much this time BUT thats beyond human control. We can’t wait to book again! We really could have moved right in! If this place is available for your next trip do not hesitate to book!!

Great location. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet still close enough to enjoy what is offered. Very quiet with a large yard. Host is wonderful and very responsive. It was like being in the comfort of your own home which beats a hotel hands down!
