We loved our stay at ‘A little gem in the gum trees’. Lovely cosy house with everything we needed. Great quiet location, good playgrounds, cafes and restaurants close by. Angela was a very informative and prompt with communication. We’d definitely return again.

fantastic stay at Sharon's where our family of four had a great time 😌 it is recommended if you got young kids especially as you don't have to follow them around for safety in one big room. very clean and very much thought of for everything on offer. we loved it

Thank you Kurt and Nan. Your hospitality, kindness, warmth and generosity are truly unprecedented. You both are such wonderful people and it shows in the way you treated us—not just a guests but as friends. Your place was a home away from home indeed. It was comfortable, safe, cosy and well equipped. Spending time with you both was indeed the highlight of our trip. It was like visiting the parents. We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel right at home. I think my husband teared up a bit to see how our little one just loved you guys. Thank you for all the generous goodies-milk, cereal, yogurt, juice, chocolates, coffee machine, butter and so much more. Thank you for also showing our little one the possum and for inviting us in for a drink and a chat. It was so, so nice. Thank you, Kurt and Nan! Hope this is not goodbye, but “see you soon again”. Just glorious. What a beautiful place to stay. Judy and Neil were lovely hosts and the Great Hall had so many lovely touches, from the expansive range of LPs and CDs, to the styling of the space, to the fresh flowers and Neil's wonderful sourdough. There's obviously so much care and thought put into the space for others to enjoy. The space is gorgeous with the morning light, and wonderful to relax outside in the afternoon. I had every intention of exploring the local area but chose to stay in, reading and enjoying the sounds of the kookaburras and magpies. I feel like I had escaped from the world for a week, not just a weekend. I very much recommend listening to the CDs of Judy and Neil's own music too! I would love to come back again in the colder months to enjoy the fireplace. Even if it's a rainy weekend - to be nestled up in this space, switching off from the world, would be such a treat.

This place is amazing, exactly as described. Big beautiful space, very comfortable beds and even has extra pillows 😍 Very convenient location, place is easy to find. I highly recommend staying here, and the host, Luke, is very friendly, easy to communicate with. Could not find a single fault with our stay and would definitely stay here again when we're in the area next. 11/10 ⭐

This is the second time I visited this place, and all I can say is, I’d definitely visit again! The location is great, and the place had everything we needed. This would be a go-to place when I visit Ballarat. Troy is very clear and responsive with the communications, as always.

The Miner's Cottage was the perfect place for our stay in Ballarat. Georgina was extremely responsive and super helpful with our special request. The home was spotless... beautifully appointed with very comfortable bedrooms and lovely furnishings. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Our dog was also most welcome. Thank you Georgina for our lovely stay. We highly recommend Miner's Cottage.
