Algonquin : locations de vacances dans des cottages

We spent 4 nights to do some ice fishing. We had 9 people in total and had more than enough room. Everything was spotless and as described in the listing. As a bonus, we had a very successful fishing trip! The property looks like it would be fabulous in the summer as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pravenas cottage, it was beautiful despite the ice rain! The place was absolutely perfect for our family and friends, really spacious and comfortable. We would book it again.

We love the chalet for our family of four! Easy to get to from mont tremblant. We were able to ski then run home to change and then back to the village for dinner both nights it took minutes to drive back and forth!

Nous avons passé un bon séjour le chalet était grand spacieux et chaleureux les chambres sont spacieuses beaucoup de lit et de canapé pour se mettre à l’aise les salles de bain propres cuisine bien équipée et un grand salon où on a pu tous se regrouper jouer à des jeux de société discuter etc… Franchement on a adoré notre séjour et recommande vivement ❤️

Overall, the cottage vacation was very good. Very quiet and peaceful, with beautiful. Jews of the lake. Inside the warm cozy spacious atmosphere that is the main room of the cottage, was inviting and can see everything that’s going from the kitchen and talk and socialize and play board games and billiards(pool). Was a great place to recharge and enjoy small time life, if one is looking to get away. Would definitely go back again.

This place was perfect! Beautiful views over the lake and so close to the north entrance to Mont Tremblant. The house is very spacious, with comfortable beds and a well-appointed kitchen - it had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It is homey, unlike the sterile depressing places that you sometimes see, but not TOO homey. We loved the sauna and hot tub. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed as a group of 10 adults and enjoyed our weekend here. There is lots of space to spread out in the cottage for a big group, and we enjoyed the scenery and some animals outside, and especially the hot tub throughout our stay. There is plenty of kitchen supplies and a nice modern kitchen which made mealtime easy, and being able to do a load of laundry during the stay was a nice bonus! As the host and other reviewers mention, the last road in to the cottage (the last 20 minutes or so) can be extremely difficult in winter if you don’t have an AWD vehicle. Jube was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall we had a nice weekend getaway, thanks Jube!

We had such a wonderful stay! The space was warm, inviting, and all it was advertised to be. It was exactly what we needed—a comfortable and peaceful spot to relax. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in a bit early. The personal touches really made the place feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming, relaxing stay with the most beautiful wood burning fireplace.

My fiancée and I got engaged here! It was a little chilly, so we stayed inside most of the time, but it felt so homey and comfortable. Totally worth every penny, we’ll definitely be coming again.

Me and my wife attended for a two night stay and this definitely exceeded our expectations. The location was an easy drive from Kingston and the area itself was beautiful. Our pup enjoyed long walks along the back trail and took a dip in the river with the beavers. The fire pit was great and well stocked. The cottage was comfortable and cozy. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the river. We will be back again!

Jon went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. His communication was amazing, the space was clean, and felt like home. The space had everything we could ask for. We look forward to coming back in the future.

We spent the weekend here and definitely wish we could’ve stayed longer. The cottage was cozy and welcoming. The views of the lake and stars at night were unbeatable and the hot tub was amazing. The hosts provided everything needed (and more) for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. I’d highly recommend! :)

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). Melissa was a wonderful host!

There were a total of 5 families (9 adults and 2 kids ages 2.5 years and 1 year). We enjoyed the side by side cottages and that allowed for some separation of families with and without kids. Cottages were quite clean and modern with good amenities. It was a very quiet neighborhood. There were watercrafts available for an additional (very reasonable) fee and we really enjoyed being on the water. We had easy access to the water. There were fire pits and hot tub, which we did not use. You’ll have to take the garbage out to the dump on your way out and there are pre-paid garbage tags. The process was easy and straightforward. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Was very comfortable to stay at Thomas's cottage. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids in the winter. The sauna was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well and communication was great.

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property, has everything you need. We stayed the week of valentines and couldn’t have asked for more. I could only imagine how perfect it would be in the summer with the water sports and many other amenities this property offers. Erika and Adam were kind and responsive and helped us with all our needs!! Definitely would go again.

Chantyle's cottage was a great find for our family. While it was basic and nothing fancy but that is just what our family loves. We basically only need a spot to sleep and cook, other then that we are outside enjoying the nature we are surrounded by, and this spot was perfect The beach was perfect for swimming, crystal clear, and shallow so the kids could walk out for quite some distance. On top of the beautiful area and comfortable rustic cabin we were greeted by a very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful campground manager Phil and his wife Tanya. Helped us with things we needed right away and gave us suggestions on places to check out that our kids ended up loving....overall amazing experience thanks for having our family stay it was a great location and great place. friendly seasonal campers as well. our family will definitely be back ?

A dream rustic cottage space! This location is wonderful, thoughtfully set up and run. With many sweet and homey details throughout the space and hosts (Darrnel and Mike), are genuinely welcoming and thoughtful. This gem is very family friendly with an all around feel good atmosphere. Our large family enjoyed the humble lakeside access and nearby waterfall.

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be doing a return visit. If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is the place, highly recommend it ! Thank you Alan & Rosalie !
