Nous avons passé deux nuits dans cet hameau aménagé avec un goût irréprochable. Daniela a créé un domaine magnifique, il y a sa maison sur la photo principale mais il y a plusieurs logements touristiques, l'un à côté des autres, munis d'un poêle à bois pour le chauffage dans chaque appartement. Lors de notre visite nous étions seuls touristes, et notre logement avait une belle vue sur la vallée. On a commandé le petit déjeuner et c'était exquis, préparé par Conceição, une employée qui parle parfaitement le français! Le hameau se trouve en hauteur parmi des très très belles montagnes de la vallée de Douro. La piscine était encore très froide mais on a nagé qqs longueurs qd même! Je pense que cette perle rare plaît à tout le monde qui cherche la connexion avec la nature. Le seul bémol était la cuisine, installée dans une armoire, on n'a pas envie d'y préparer grande chose. Mais il y a une cuisine d'été avec BBQ, peut être sympa en été.

I cannot say how much we loved our stay. The whole space was amazing, I felt like I was in some other world. It was peaceful, gorgeous, stunning, and I really cannot say anything but wow. I already look forward to coming back.

We had a wonderful time at Quinta da Galeira, which has spectacular views and is very roomy. The balcony is huge with lots of furniture and an outdoor dining table. There are orange and lemon trees on the grounds and we had fresh orange juice every morning using the juicer in the kitchen. Host/owners brought us a box of Pastel de Nata custard tarts our first morning there which was a sweet treat. Easy parking, cozy and quaint house, everything you could need to cook in the kitchen, and very private even though owners live onsite below the Airbnb. I would stay there again if I had the chance!

De belles vacances en famille avec piscine ! L'eau est fraîche mais avec la chaleur c'est agréable ! La maison est excentrée donc prévoir un véhicule mais c'est ce que nous recherchions! Raquel a été très réactive par rapport à mes demandes et nous a conseillé de jolis lieux de visite !

This place is amazing and even more beautiful than the photos. The room is spacious and very cozy. The view at the Quinta is phenomenal, with great gardens. Everything went well. Communication with Daniela was excellent. She was very helpful, always giving us tips and taking care of everything. I really appreciate her kindness. We hope to come back and stay longer because there are so many things to do in the region.

Beautiful Museum like home in a small town in the midst of vineyards. The views at sunrise and sunset are fantastic and the vineyards go on forever. Ms. Fatima was great and made a delicious breakfast for us every morning. The little cafe down the street was amazing and the owner is very friendly and made us a delicious dinner the night of our arrival.

Our stay at Lugar das Letras was nothing short of magical. This beautifully restored house, once an old school, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards—a true feast for the eyes. The rooms and bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. But what made our experience truly unforgettable were Carla and Paula, the two wonderful ladies who took care of every detail. Every morning, they prepared a memorable breakfast for our entire family, filled with warmth and care. Their kindness and hospitality turned our stay into a dream. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise in the Douro Valley. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place with great sorroundings. Huge pool with a private sunbed just for your house. Very comfy beds and well equipped. They produce their own wine and olive oil and we love it. I will definitely recommended and come back!

Such a wonderful place and wonderful hosts! It’s remote, too far normally to walk to town, but our hosts did a great job of supplying us with breakfast food and wine, so we were never without the important things. Beautiful place, beautiful views, lovely pool (too cold to use when we went), sauna and workout room. Wineries all around the area. Many thanks to our very responsive and enjoyable host, Tania

As minhas avaliações são fiáveis: sempre que existam, menciono pontos positivos e negativos. A casa foi remodelada por dentro (e por fora) e tem três quartos com camas de casal grandes em cada um (um no andar de cima, o principal onde está a cozinha o wc e a sala, e dois outros no andar de baixo). A casa é muito aconchegante. Estivemos lá duas noites e estivemos mesmo muito bem. Avaliação final: aconselho sem qualquer hesitação! Situações que requerem melhoria, embora não alterem a avaliação: (1) aquecimento para os quartos de baixo (em cima é via AC, que está na sala, mas em baixo não há nada): foi-nos emprestado um aquecedor, mas devia haver um para cada quarto. Contudo, os edredões são muito confortáveis e quentes, pelo que dormimos muito bem. (2) água quente sai com pouca pressão, embora, com alguma prática, se consiga misturar com água fria. (3) o contador precisa de mais potência, pois não aguenta com o AC e o fogão em simultâneo por exemplo (sei que estão a tratar disso).

Très bon endroit calme bien situé pour découvrir la Vallée du Douro. De jolies balades, la maison à tout ce qu'il faut. Un bon restaurant à Sabrosa merci.
