what a sublime place. it was perfect. the location is outstanding, the people are great. the views are incredible. our time here was the icing on the cake for our portugal trip. we would hope to come back.

Andre's place is in a great location in the Douro Valley. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

This is a great little place, mainly because of its location, views!!! and infinity swimming pool. The flat itself is functional and nothing special, but perfectly fine. The view from most of the windows is however to die for, looking down a classic Douro valley. The location is nice and quiet, as it’s up the valley, about 15 mins from “the Douro hub” of Pinhau (Pinhão) and 10 min from Tabuaco. André is helpful; however, it would be helpful to have guidance (manual) on a few things in the house such as TV (that was initially not working) and that there is for instance a little tweak to look the front door. The cleaning lady was very sweet and helpful, she also checked that everything is in order with and around the pool.

Helga and Mario have a beautiful clean place with incredible views of the Douro River Valley. We had great instructions to get to the home and how to get in with a keyless code. It was raining and cold so we were soaked getting the gate open and getting suitcases inside. There’s a fireplace in the living area and I asked Helga if we could get firewood and within minutes someone arrived with wood and he even built us a fire. When I made my reservation, I mentioned that I needed a haircut/ pedicure and Helga made me an appointment with Sonia in the next village of Tabuaço for the day after we arrived, that was wonderful service and kind of her. I was very pleased. Helga gave very good information on things to do in the area and places to eat. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have had while traveling. Everything was clean and as stated in the listing. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs if that is an issue but we were told this before we booked. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This place was incredible. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it was perfect. Such a kind host and farm manager, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and convenient to all things in the Douro Valley. I would stay at this place again in a second. Definitely worth it!

Para quem quer paz, sossego e uns dias longe da confusão, este é o local ideal! Com uma vista privilegiada sobre o Douro, churrasqueira e uma piscina que chegava aos 29º, o que podemos pedir mais? A casa estava limpa, o ar condicionado e o Wi-Fi funcionavam sem problemas e deixaram-nos uns miminhos (mais do que era preciso até) para o nosso pequeno almoço. Obrigada! O anfitrião era super acessível, simpático e preocupado e levou-nos no seu barco a dar um passeio pelo nosso lindo rio Douro. Super aconselho!

We stayed in Alfredo's place as 5 adults celebrating my mother's 70th birthday. The layout and size of the property was perfect for our group. The setting of the house is stunning, with huge windows to make the most of the beautiful valley view. The location is great, with lots of neighbouring vineyards and just a short walk into town, where there are many lovely restaurants and you can take a boat trip down the river. The house is very well maintained, with all the equipment to make an enjoyable stay. Thank you so much Alfredo & Luis for everything. PS. the opportunity to buy wines and port at the property was a great idea, and at better prices than we'd paid at local vineyards!

La Casa Grande est une maison incroyable, nous avons adoré notre expérience, car oui c’est une expérience! Le chemin pour se rendre à Covelinhas est très escarpé, il faut être prudent lorsqu’on croise des voitures. La piscine est superbe, les chambres sont tous charmantes. Il y a deux petits café à proximité mais sinon on se déplace en voiture. Je recommande fortement.

Une vue à couper le souffle dans un cadre idyllique, une maison très fonctionnelle avec la Clim et la piscine qui sont très appréciable avec les grosses chaleurs. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisirs

Nuno's hilltop village house with a spectacular view of the upper Douro valley was peaceful, roomy and clean. It had a well-equipped kitchen with an induction stove (use YouTube to learn how to operate it), microwave, sandwich maker/waffle iron, coffee maker with pods, kettle and numerous pots and pans. Dish detergent, laundry detergent, fabic softener, drying rack, clothes pins, shampoo and body wash were provided. Free parking, 5 mbps internet speed and portable electic heater for cool nights were also appreciated. Nuno was very quick to respond to us about recommendations and how to turn the power back on when we had the heater & stove on then plugged in the kettle. He told us what to do in minutes. It's an older home being renovated. We recommend staying here! We were sad to leave.
