We had a wonderful stay at Eagle View Lodge! Stepping into the cabin felt like being transported back in time. Complementing the old-world style and architecture, it was decorated with antiques and beautiful artwork. However, the modern furniture and amenities gave it a spa-like feel. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. The view from the cabin was stunning! We enjoyed coffee on the deck, cards around the fire, and the hot tub under the stars. Sunsets over the river were beautiful. We explored a couple of nearby towns: Viroqua, Prairie Du Chien, and Lansing. During our drives we saw tons of wildlife: so many deer, turkeys, eagles, and hawks. We recommend Eagle View Lodge and hope to return. Thank you, David!

Loved the view (especially the frequent eagles and pelicans) and had a great time exploring the area. Fished at Hubbards Float and hiked Effigy Mounds. It was nice being able to bring our dogs and use the hot tub (but keep in mind the large flight of steps outside to get down for pets and when in your swimsuit)! The kids enjoyed fishing from the shore and bonfires at night, along with the fun train and all the outdoors spots to explore (see if you can spot the beaver trees and nearby eagles nest).

We love being able to get the whole family together here. It's the perfect place to celebrate with family and friends.

This place was the perfect little getaway in such a hidden gem. Emma was always so responsive and kind when it came to any questions or recommendations. We can’t wait to stay at another one of their places!

We had a very nice stay. The place was clean and so were the kitchen tools. It was a quiet remote place that helped removed our stress. We loved the hot tub and that it was inside the porch because it made us feel less vulnerable when it got dark and it was close to the door.

Another great stay at Prairie Song for my husband and son. It is a favorite and I expect they will return again many times.
