Our Thanksgiving gathering at Salina’s was wonderful. Two kitchens was the perfect feature for all the cooking necessary to feed seven. Our dogs loved running in the yard. The main event however is the awesome hot tub with strong jets. Soothing relaxation in the snow! Lake Michigan stole the show with a spectacular sunset over stormy waves.

Great get away from all hustle of life. But also only 30 min drive to Lake Michigan. Kitchen was well stocked with many dishes and even many spices. The backyard is so peaceful with multiple bird feeders to watch. Lake traffic was busy on weekend many boats going by our raft but quiet during the week. The lake has a-lot of growing plants so not so good for swimming but kayaking was great. The house did not have ac or wifi but plenty of fans and cooled off at night. Verizon was also not available but at&t was for phone service. A great way to disconnect from the internet❤️ Patti was very prompt with answers and knowledgeable about the area. We had 4 staying there and had plenty of room. The pull out couch mattress was even comfortable.

The location is fantastic, making it very convenient to explore the area. The place itself is charming and well-maintained, offering a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a pleasant stay!

Beautiful lakefront property, plenty of room for a family, nice accommodations and amenities, plus a very friendly, proactive Host. We would love to take advantage of all the opportunities the Gun Lake community provides during the summer months and would definitely return here to stay.

This place was absolutely perfect! The location and the views were awesome!! The house was fully stocked with everything you need to cook for your stay.. I can’t think of one thing that they didn’t think of. We will 100% be back!! Thanks so much!!

This place was absolutely gorgeous, the owner literally thought of everything - multiple sleeping areas, fully stocked kitchen. The house has a beautiful backyard and is in an absolutely stunning location, just steps away from make Michigan. The sunset views were incredible. We had a wonderful time and would love to return when it’s warmer!

The cabin is nestled on a little slice of heaven in a private, forest setting. A ‘deer-family’ visited us frequently. Ample amenities. We didn’t realize that the ‘unattached-second bedroom/sitting room’ was ours to use until later in the trip because we didn’t realize what the unmarked ‘extra key’ opened. The cabin is small, but for two adults and a dog, it was quaint, cozy, clean, and adequate. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinners everyday. The dog and the evening storms kept us in at night. The roads were easy to navigate and we spent a lot of time playing in South Haven, Saugatuck, and Fennville. The lakeshore overlook was a bit scary with a dramatic and steep drop-off so if you had young children or a rambunctious dog (oh wait?! That was ME!), be forewarned. Otherwise, the view was outstanding. We really enjoyed our time and hopefully someday our paths will cross again.

Doug was a fantastic host and the ice house was a fabulous place to stay. Very nice lake and having boats accessible was the cherry on top - fishing on the lake was great fun and having south haven close by is a plus. We stopped at the local farm stands and had delicious local produce. We will return to this great getaway

Great place and the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan. A perfect spot for my little friend group. Hope to stay there again in the future!

Great house on an adorable lake! We had warm weather and sat on the deck the entire stay. Close to so many cute towns and of course the wedding venue! We were very comfortable and loved the extra touches like kayaks, fishing poles, seasonings, Pam, sun screen and games. Thank you for a perfect stay!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was warm and welcoming! Everything was clean and organized. There was plenty of space for everyone. It was a great place to stay!

Husband and I were looking for a nice, relaxing getaway. And this was the perfect spot for it!!@

This was our second stay with them and already booked for next year. They are two wonderful people! Love having breakfast with them and chatting. We had privacy when we wanted in the basement walkout apartment. It was new and quiet. Loved sitting g and watching the river. They offered great suggestions on dining and things to do. Extraordinary all around!

The house was right on the lake shore with private woods to the South. Unfortunately, as described, there is not direct access to the beach/water below due to shoreline erosion. However, the view was incredible, the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the sunsets were beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with necessities, and the location was well located between South Haven and Saugatuck.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! It’s located right on the shore of Lake Michigan, so the view was very beautiful and peaceful. My family and I stayed here over the holidays, and it was perfect. Spacious rooms and bathrooms for all of us, and they had enough amenities that made our stay relaxing and easy. The spice rack assortment was great for cooking! Our host was super responsive and helpful any time we had issues or questions. Would 10/10 recommend and consider coming again!

Very nice home. Nicely updated and very spacious, multiple levels with lake views, multiple kitchen spaces, very kid / family friendly setup. Would highly recommend especially for larger groups. Lake views were amazing at sunrise / sunset, master bath shower is huge and very updated, patio space on lower level is great. Rental company was great to work with, very responsive and included things like toiletries and kitchen supplies. Note: one other thing to be aware of is potential construction; looks like they are doing work nearby that could be a distraction, would be sure to check on that prior to booking.

Our stay at Tyler’s home in Saugatuck was very enjoyable, and worked well for our large extended family. The house really suited our group well from our toddlers and babies to grandparents, and everyone in between, the house was large enough to accommodate our group ( 6 adults & 5 children) very well. The yard and outdoor space was extremely spacious and private. Our group enjoyed the hot tub, which was clean and easy to use. We cooked most meals at home, and the kitchen was a great size and stocked with everything we needed to cook. The house was a bit lived in, but very clean and everything functioned as it should. One thing worth noting is that the pond has grown in since the photos were taken, and it’s a bit green with some cattails growing. There’s a nice cleared area in front of the home, easy access to enjoy the water. As you might expect, the water draws geese to the area, so most mornings required a quick cleanup of goose poop, which we didn’t mind.

This is a hidden gem in South Haven! Beautiful house, million bucks view, loaded kitchen, welcome gifts, private beach, great host and jacuzzi is a plus! Everyone had a fantastic time and tons of pictures to remember this experience by. Thank you Amy for letting us use her beautiful space!

Great spot right on the lake with private steps down to the beach. Beautiful sunsets, cute town of Fennville nearby. Furniture could use some updating but overall nice place.

Overall this place is fantastic. Listing might not even do the views and set up justice. Highlights - beautiful views from the house in all rooms of Lake Michigan - easy access to beach. Down about 50 stairs -fire pit with incredible views and blocked from wind -amenities were great. Pack n play, high chair, beach toys, paddle boards, chairs, towels. -close to Saugatuck and Holland - house was clean, updated, and space was maximized. - shades were key! Rooms dark in the AM and kept the sun out during late pm hours -listing said no AC but seems to have been recently installed -very secluded and private. -very nice kitchen table that can probably fit 6-8 people around it. Very much nitpicking, but the cookware was average. There is also no dishwasher. Inside living space is small, but with the monster wrap around deck, fire pit and beach, isn’t a big deal. We would gladly return!!
