We loved this place! Beautiful location and had everything we needed. Super clean and lots of room. We really enjoyed relaxing on the back deck. . The hosts were very communicative and quick to respond. I would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

I came to this home to celebrate my birthday with a hroup of friends and family! This home was bih enough to accomidate the entire group of 11 with plenty of space. I enjoyed all of the ammenities. The photos do not do the home justice! The beach is way longer than a 2 minute walk but it is only a 5 minute drive down the road. The home is located on a road without walkways so walking may not be the best option. If youre looking at this home, just book it! note check in and check out are not flexible. 4pm-10am

We really enjoyed our stay here! We had some car trouble so ended up being at the home more than we thought we would be but there were tons of board games and a lot of space for our large family to be more than comfortable. It is also in a really nice and quiet neighborhood and very close to walk to downtown! As mentioned in the post, there were a lot of extras for my kids (stroller, high chair, pack n play, toys, etc.). The kitchen had just about anything you would need. Thanks for making our trip so enjoyable! *Side note, the local car shop was incredible.

What a wonderful place to spend a few days with our children and grandchildren. It was welcoming and had everything that we needed and more. This place is so kid-friendly with the games and toys. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we forgot to bring, (spices, oil, etc.). The beds were comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. I would love to come back in the summer because the garage is filled with everything you need to enjoy the pool, beach or backyard. I am hoping we can visit Idlewood Cottage again in the future. This was a perfect location for a weekend getaway for the whole family. Check-in was easy and the host was super communicative. There was plenty of parking for everyone. The pool table and ping pong table were a hit with the family. We even had a friendly family pool tournament! We didn't get to enjoy the patio, screened in porch, and beach since we visited in the off-season and it was pretty chilly out, but the lake looked beautiful and the water was clear, and I'm sure it's just lovely in warm weather!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Douglas, MI! The check-in process was seamless, with a lockbox on the front patio as communicated. The property was clean, nicely decorated, and had thoughtful extras like toothbrushes, sleep masks, and a well-stocked coffee and tea setup. Joanna provided a fantastic guide with recommendations for local restaurants and things to do, which made exploring Douglas, Saugatuck, Holland, and New Haven even more enjoyable. The listing was accurate, and everything met our expectations. While we didn’t need to reach out, communication was prompt and helpful. Overall, this was a great place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to explore the area!

Sanctuary Woods Estate is very large yet so cozy and comfortable. So much space for our 10 guests and plenty of activities for the school-aged children. Outdoor areas are awesome too. We were so happy with the cleanliness of the home and it’s very well stocked with all essentials. Stayed three nights but wish we could stay much longer. I definitely recommend this house to everyone, and you’ll want to bring your family and friends to experience the peacefulness and tranquility. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood also.
