We really enjoyed the stay at Uncle Jim’s. We loved the place, it was very clean. We really enjoyed the amenities included in the kitchen and the bathroom. The throwback board games and VHS tapes felt very nostalgic. Thank you for opening up your space for others to appreciate! Really enjoyed the privacy and the scenery.

I loved our stay here, It was extremely peaceful and the hosts were super polite when my friend and I needed assistance!

This was our second stay at Helene’s cabin and there are many reasons why we came back. It’s such a peaceful place with beautiful surroundings. My husband and I enjoyed exploring the area with our two dogs and loved hanging out in the cozy cabin with the wood stove. We especially enjoyed seeing deer on the property. A great place for a weekend getaway!

Rick and Pat’s house was amazing! We loved every second of it, from the large peaceful yard filled with deer, to the outside fire pit, comfy beds and super clean, lovely house! Loved our whole vacation and didn’t want to leave. Owners are very personable and communicative (quick to respond)We can’t wait to come back again to this amazing home! We’ve stayed in many cabins in North Carolina but this was by far the best. Felt just like home but with a beautiful view and a peaceful stay. Best kitchen and easy to use control operated Fireplace that kept us warm and lots of blankets and extra heaters to keep us cozy in the cold winter. It was truly a blessing to spend a little over a week in this enchanting place.

Beautiful location and the cabin was gorgeous. Love the Christmas decor and it felt like we were right at home. Lots of games and things for the children to do. They loved it.

We stayed at The Red River House on the weekend between picking up one daughter from Camp Cheerio and dropping the other daughter off. It looks just like it does in pictures. There is very little overhead lighting, so the coloring in the pictures is accurate, but everything is very clean and comfortable. Our son spent hours upon hours fishing in the river out front. I recommend bringing water shoes or Crocs, as it can be hard to get a grip while walking through the river. Charlie was an excellent host and we used many of her suggestions for local dining and activities. The area is beautiful and serene, and we can't wait to return.

If you're looking for views from heaven this is the place! Its breathtaking. Spacious, quiet, and picturesque. House is nestled between neighbors and you'd never know. Wildlife and wilderness meets quaint neighborhood... but at a golf resort. Only downfall is if you dont get groceries prior to arrival,you're out of luck during winter since your on the top of the mountain. Its about 20 to 30min down either direction for them (I shopped on the way in). Things to do are also sparse at this time of year. But, that wasn't the point for our trip, it was to "disappear" for a few days. Bryan was an awesome host. He kept intouch throughout the entire process. I had to make adjustments to my initial occupancy number and cut our trip short a day due to weather related precautions. He was accommodating for each request. Couldn't have had a better host. He invited us back and also made us aware he had other properties on the same resort. All around pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!
