This was a great getaway spot! Very peaceful and serene location to think, write and kick back and relax. The hot tub was amazing. Being able to sit in it and watch the deer come out by the pond while it was snowing, was nothing short of incredible. Thank you Susan!

Our stay was awesome. Just as described and Andrey is a fantastic host answering all of my questions quickly and his suggestions were also awesome. The cabin is beautiful and super private. Hot tub was quite relaxing after days of driving and checking out what our beautiful state has to offer. The fireplace and outdoor fire pit are a personal highlight for me. Everything you need is there to cook, bath or just simply hang out. I highly recommend the trip to Mountain Top and Provisions as their food was outstanding. Best place to grab your own wood is on 287 on the right just before entering the borough of Wellsboro. Wellsboro is worth the trip especially for local dining, shopping, sightseeing and it has an actual supermarket. The Sunoco at the Turkey Fry is right down the street and has all the snacks and beer you may need just for a quick grab. Overall, I’d come back for another weekend getaway.

For a small cabin, the rooms were well appointed and spread out providing a feeling of more than adequate space for a family of 3! Loved the decor and the local restaurants. Easy to get to local ski resorts.

We had an AMAZING stay!! The house was absolutely gorgeous, the space was so inviting and comfortable. It was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend! Close to Canadaguia which has many options for eating and entertainment! Rachel was super fast to answering my questions both before booking and while we were staying at the home! Great Bear Cabin is a gem! We loved how peaceful it was, and that Josh has clearly gone above and beyond to bring comfort to his guests. The Master Bedroom had one the comfiest mattresses we’ve ever stayed on at an airbnb! We loved being able to travel with our dog, and the cabin was super pet friendly with treats and bags to clean up easily! While we stayed with a smaller group this time, Josh’s place can easily accommodate a large group/ family! Thanks for sharing this amazing space! We can’t wait to come back!!

Jim and Jo Ellen were responsive hosts. Jim led us back to the cabin and oriented us to the space. The cabin has everything we needed and an AMAZING view. Highly recommend booking a stay if you are in the area.

This is a gem of a place. Ryan and Laura's place is cozy and has everything my family needed. We had a wonderful time returning to Cook Forest and exploring the area and having the cabin to return to each day. They truly have thought of each room and amenities.

Outside: Cabin 1 is tucked in far enough from the "main" road, and looks out onto a field, which was snow covered during our visit. The number of stars visible on a clear night is awe inspiring. The closest neighbors are the winery and Cabin 2, a good distance away on each side. Inside: There was no visible dust on the ceiling fan blades, which in addition to being a pet peeve of mine, is also usually a dead giveaway about the overall cleanliness of a rental. But with its clean fan blades and spotless interior, Cabin 1 was without a doubt one of the cleanest -- probably **the** cleanest -- AirBnB rental I've ever had. Seriously, it was spotless. As other reviewers have stated, the kitchen is well-stocked. The heat works great in the winter, it was between 5 - 19 degrees outside, but nice and warm inside during our stay. We were very happy to be able to bring our dog, who felt right at home, too. I don't have any complaints. I would definitely stay in Shelly's cabin again.

Our first stay was awesome! The host is very responsive and helpful. Everything was clean and picture perfect! The nature trail is beautiful and we had a lot of fun exploring the creek. It’s perfect, and absolutely silent aside from the sounds of nature.

What a hidden gem! This was the perfect place to unplug and enjoy nature. The property had beautiful trails to explore, and the snowy landscape made it feel like a winter wonderland. It was both cozy and adventurous. The hosts were fantastic—super communicative and helpful. If you're visiting in winter, definitely bring a 4WD vehicle, as the big icy hill can be tricky. Overall, an amazing stay!

This place is awesome. If you want peace and quiet this is it. Great communication with host . Place is rustic but squeaky clean. Lots of room to accommodate a full family. I would highly recommend

what an awesome view going down the driveway to the cabin. Quiet,cozy and relaxing. Fishing was great. Small mouth bass and bluegill was what I was catching. We seen wild turkeys and deer and lots of different birds. Host was great in keeping in touch with us and the cabin was stocked up very well. We will definitely be going back! Thanks appreciate it! The Paramore's.

Rhonda and Dennis were very friendly and accommodating. They plowed the roads for us after a snowfall and even laid down gravel during our stay to ensure we could get our cars out. The cabin was exactly as advertised, and we were very happy with it. The beds were soft and comfortable, making for an easy and restful sleep. My friends and I had a great time staying here!

This cabin was a great and beautiful time, in a very nice town. Very private and the host is easy to contact with clear instructions. Definitely recommend and hope return another time!

This cabin is beyond beautiful. Very secluded and easy to find. So much charm inside the cabin that you would never want to leave. I spent somedays in my honeymoon in this cabin and it was the perfect choice. So much to enjoy in the outdoors without leaving the property. Everything is thought for that it became joyful to enjoy and discover. It’s a little perfect get way place and I can’t wait to return to it especially around spring. The host is extremely thoughtful and caring throughout my visit and we appreciated their hospitality and respect. Thank you so much Bob & Peg we are grateful!

What a fantastic stay! The views are incredible with more than enough space for the kids to run around the property. Robin was very responsive in answering any questions we had and heading into town is a beautiful drive.

Chris is an amazing host; friendly and considerate. He gave perfect instructions in great detail, and the cabin was easy to find. Upon entering, we were struck by an inviting woodsy smell as well as with how pristine, cozy, and inviting the cabin was. Everything we needed was right there, including enough wood for the wood stove and the fire ring outside. A great assortment of interesting books and games was located in the sitting room. We particularly enjoyed reading the comments, funny, and creative writings of former guests. It was so nice to unplug from the world for a couple of days. Both restorative and healing in so many ways. The perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We are so grateful to Chris and grateful for him providing such a sweet place for guests like us.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Living in the city, it can be very noisy with traffic, fire trucks, ambulances. It was great to get away. Nancy was great. She was kind, friendly and helpful with a problem my daughter had with her car. The house was fabulous. Clean and homey. Very secluded. Loved, loved, loved it. 😍
