Our first visit to the Lake District and I’m so glad we chose to stay at Robins, it was easy to find, parking spot out the front, SO central, just a couple of minutes walk down to the strip of Ambleside which had a variety of cafes, bars and shops, but was tucked away enough that it was such a peaceful stay. The location also had plenty of local walks and fells to choose from, we were spoiled. We only stayed for 4 days but had plenty to do and really felt like we experienced what the Lake District had to offer. The accommodation was clean and cosy, the bed was arguably better than our own and the open fire was perfect for relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine. Thanks again!

Spacious, comfortable, lovely views. All immaculate, new carpet too - no expense spared. Open plan, huge living and dining areas, big TV, posh Alexa for radio etc. Decent Sony HiFi for Bluetooth. Big, deep sofas but too low - hard to get up out of. Warm (once unusual electric heating was understood) though fixed timers on all radiators did not show the current time, so on/off control was unpredictable. Rooms never cold. Just switch on at wall and leave alone. Well-equipped kitchen with premium appliances. Everything spotless. Fridge not cold enough, so had to set it to ‘super’ - then all was well. Everything provided, except facial tissues. OS Maps and info provided on walks etc very useful. Parking for one car only, with 2 visitor spaces if available. So if you are coming in 2 cars beware. We were lucky, and out-of-season. All in all, presented to a very high standard. Comfortable beds, excellent linen, super showers, very clean, responsive hosts @LetMeStay. Well done, thank you.

We had a great stay at Windermere, the flat was spotless and Siobhan was very helpful and responsive to any message. Check in was smooth and the instructions we got to find the flat were excellent! The only thing I would say is the ceilings can be low in places, so for me (5’ 11”) I did find on a few occasions banging my head on the beams, however the cottage was fantastic otherwise, had all the amenities we needed, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and a lovely care package in the fridge for when we arrived.

Very helpful and responsive hosts. Whilst it's a small apartment, it had everything I needed including off street parking which is hard to find in Ulverston. 2min walk to centre of town.

What can I say. A fabulous find and a place we will certainly visit again. Quaint, easily accessible. Parking no problem, just get a week or 3 day pass in the two car parks on the hill. There are so many things to do. I will write these in the book. The fire is great, bath and shower to suit all tastes, the rooms are perfect for a small family / 3 adult travellers. Communication perfect from the first point of booking to leaving. I cannot speak highly enough. All the things you would need for a stag away, home from home. We will hopefully be booking again shortly. Thank you Emma and John x

Despite a hiccup with the electricity one evening, Tom's place was spotless. A little cold when we first arrived, but after a few hours of having the heating on, it soon warmed up. Tom was very helpful and generally quick to respond. Hats off to Tom, the apartment was well presented, squeaky clean and instructions very clear. Thank you

fabulous stay in wonderful comfortable accommodation. easy check in, great comms from host. Close to town - easily walkable, parking space, tight but doable. cosy warm house well appointed, super comfortable bed. Great restaurants close by, pocket, barua, fellpack, yonder. brilliant. Will be back

Had a great long Bank Holiday weekend in Herdwick Heft..The apartment is small yet cosy..clean..modern and had everything we needed for our 3 day getaway.The accommodation is situated right in the heart of lovely Ambleside with all its attractions..great views from the bedroom too and the bonus of a parking space.Communications with Amanda was excellent with a smooth check in..we could highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Very comfortable and homely accomodation on a working farm in a peaceful area. Gillian and her family were very friendly. The newborn lambs outside were and extra special treat. Central for travel by car to many different places.

Fabulous apartment just as described. Clean, comfortable with an excellent position for all amenities. Parking space is a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to repeat.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Greg’s place “Penthouse”. Communication was very clear and with all the information we needed to hit the ground running on our little trip away to Bowness. We found the place easy enough thanks to the instructions provided by Greg and it was great to have private, dedicated parking space - something we’ve not had before when we’ve stayed in such a central location before. Self check in was really smooth using the lockbox to let ourselves In. The penthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfy and didn’t want to get up this morning! Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed to cook a fab breakfast before heading out for a days walking. And the view from the living area, wow! The location of penthouse was second to none, only 2 minutes walk and we were in Bowness where there was a great selection of bars and restaurants for our evening meal and a few drinks. Overall a fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

Great apartment, centrally located in a stunning area. Alison gave us clear instructions and was very responsive. The parking permit was an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Alison!

What a lovely day in beautiful Keswick! The flat is lovely and in a quiet area, but under 5 mins into town. The views around are breathtaking! Some lovely walks from the flat. Great having a parking space. John's directions and communication was excellent. The flat has a lovely modern kitchen and bathroom.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to be able to explore the local town, it’s within very close proximity to lots of restaurants/shops etc… The apartment was lovely and was beautifully decorated, we enjoyed the hot tub on one of the nights! There were lots of things to do cooking etc if you wished! We had a very pleasant stay and would return should we visit the Lake District again! The hosts were super responsive also and were kind enough to allow us an early check in. Thank you!

Spent the night here after a pleasant walk at Hareshaw Linn, it's amazing how close the property is to the car park for the waterfall walk! The hot tub was very private and peaceful, a lovely place to stay and I am planning on staying again some time

We stayed at Ian’s Airbnb, It was spotless and came with everything we would need for our stay, everything was great however during the night it can get very warm but there is a fan and doors that open up to outside to help cool down. Swimming and other activities were included which was great, and there are slots for adult only swims and such. Would definitely visit again.

Host was really helpful and kind and made sure the space was clean and tidy with stuff we would need for our weekend away all in all definitely recommend

Nic solace good location

We had a great stay at jays nest, and would definitely come back! The flat is lovely and very clean, in a peaceful and quiet area. Nice views from the living room and outside deck area. Easy to walk into Windermere and Bowness, and lots of walks can be done from the Airbnb without having to drive. Host provided several guide books and local restaurant recommendations.

Really enjoyed our stay-lovely apartment with everything you need and lots of little extras that made our stay even more enjoyable. Liz provided us with fantastic directions and lots of helpful information about the apartment and local area. Definitely recommend and we will certainly be coming back!
